My friends and colleagues and I stayed at Reflection on the Sea in Coolangatta during a business trip, and the experience was absolutely perfect. The location is fantastic – right on the beach with stunning ocean views from our rooms, beautiful at all times of the day. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who really made us feel welcome. At one point, our parking spot was taken, but the hotel promptly notified us and quickly helped resolve the issue, which we really appreciated. We were all very satisfied with our stay and will definitely come back next time we’re in the Gold Coast. Highly recommended!

Beautiful views in a great location. Very luxurious feeling for the most part. The pool was magnificent and water temperature just right!

The unit we had was not clean for the price we paid. The blinds had stains on them, and the couch pillows also had stains. For $1700 for 3 nights I would expect that we wouldn’t know how dirty previous guests were, however we could only imagine. The shower windows were also very dirty, to the point you could barely see through them. I’m not sure if this is just a result of salty air constantly or just poor effort from cleaners in really giving them a good scrub. Overall, the property had a lot of potential, beautiful views, great location however those small details really do make all the difference for the price point.

The 15th floor apartment we stayed in was excellent, very comfortable, well set up and immaculate. But best of all was the panoramic ocean views, visible from both bedrooms and living area.

Two days into our stay we were told our secure parking spot (which we’d paid for as part of the reservation) was needed for a maintenance vehicle and that we’d have to park overnight in a very much unsecured public parking area near the beach. We weren’t offered any alternative even though there were numerous empty spaces in the underground garage.

The view was great and the building and car park is very secure. The rooms were clean. The staff were very good, and they have a procedure for early check-in and check-out that we needed to use. Thefre is no 24 hour reception.

Some facilities were not fuctioning - the range hood vaccum didn't work. This was confirmed by the maintenance man. To his credit, he did come quickly to check the range hood. We could not get the tv is the small room to work, though that could have been something we didn't do correctly. Reflections - Please ask staff to check that all applicances are working properly before visitors arrive. Some visitors may not use some facilities so they are not aware they do not function.

Perfect Location - walk to beach, shops, Coolangatta, Kirra, and Snapper Rocks. Stunning views and beaches across the road. Great place to stay with all the facilities you could imagine. So relaxing - had a great time. Absolutely loved the bath tub overlooking the bedroom and views to the beach...

Nothing really... The bed was a little low for me but that's just my preference.

Absolutely amazing view from large balcony ! Large well equipped rooms in very comfortable apartment. Literally a two minute walk to a beautiful beach . Heaps of lovely cafes , remand shops on your doorstep.

We were told that check in was at 2 pm . We arrived on Easter Monday to be told that reception closed at 2pm 😳. The receptionist did stay an extra 20 mins to accommodate us but it was a bit stressful. Other than that no complaints at all

The apartment was well maintained, with a modern feel a well situated for all Coolangatta has to offer. Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay.

Very little… the apartment was great. Only downside was the complex opens into a walkway shared with MacDonalds so there were a lot of people hanging around there and as it got later, it felt a little unsafe.

The position is wonderful. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and had unit had everything we needed. The view was spectacular. We didn't use the poll as in was overcast but it looked very inviting. next time.

There was very little that we could really say we didn't like except the weather but we made the best of it. The lounge looked we fashionable but was not the comfortable

Location great. Room layout & beds. Balcony & view. Pool & gym. Super comfy lounge suit.

General cleanliness of the rooms. Dust on un-used items, confusing welcome pack (not sure we had it). Kitchen crockery wasn't adequate for a unit that sleeps 6. 3rd bedroom had bad mouldy blinds.

Location and view were amazing. Overall the room was good - the air-conditioning worked extremely well and generally the unit was well maintained. Great to have so many coffee shops and small restaurants in close proximity to the building.

Washing machine was extremely loud - Main bed needs to be a full-size king / queen - not 2 singles joined as this was noticeable and annoying. Glass Bedsides looked cool but were unstable and rocked to the point you thought the glass may fall off - something more solid is required. TV - needs to incorporate basic Foxtel package with sport / news etc as every place I have stayed at in this price range has Foxtel or some type of pay TV included.
