The staff were all fabulous, friendly and knowledgeable. The location was perfect and the hotel itself is beautifully appointed.

We were only told upon arriving that there would be no access to the balcony or a window. We had stunning ocean views, but not permitted to use the balcony for ‘safety’ concerns. It would’ve been the right thing for the property to advise us of this when the booking was made. We spent $3800 in accommodation, food and drinks during our 6 nights. We would’ve booked elsewhere had we known that the balcony was not accessible to us.

Lovely hotel with fun vibe and good food

Decided to spend a little more money and book 2 ocean view rooms. After checking in, paying deposit & being handed room keys then was told oh btw you can’t use the balconies due to ‘unforeseen maintenance’. More than disappointed. This is a conversation that should have happened as soon as they zip tied the balcony shut (I don’t think it was that day!) and definitely not left for the last comment before going to our rooms. No apologies no compensation no acknowledgement that this might be of issue to me.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable visit. The beds were especially comfortable, perfect for a good night’s sleep. I also appreciated the heated pool and the spa, which made for a relaxing swim regardless of the weather. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Location was great, short walk to beach and shops and restaurants, it was also one block away from tram stop. The parking onsite was convenient and very secure after hours. I appreciated the kind gesture of the bottle of sparkling wine and the lovely card the team at QT sent us for our wedding anniversary.

Mini bar fridge was very tiny, the shower water pressure could had been better.

Parking easy and good value. Good options for food and drinks, including nice coffee. Friendly floor staff and wait staff in resto. Discrete housekeeping staff re noise and room turndowns. Mostly very good noise proof (level 9). View from room on ocean side was nice. Good location, can walk to most things and beach right at end of street. Good sized room.

No notice before arrival that balconies couldn't be used due to cyclone earlier in year (for a three day stay that ended up being very disappointing and would've been nice to get some air in the room). Bed was comfie but bedding is haphazard - doona covers come undone at the bottom and pillowcases don't fit well. Pillows too high. Bathroom was attractive but sink a bit small and toilet area bit small with the door open. Room clean but bathroom around toilet (walls, door), needed a proper clean. The images in the lifts scared the crap out of me 😆

I was pleasantly surprised with the QT. My room was so clean and comfortable and the hotel just had a really nice vibe. I will definitely stay again.

I was on the 21st floor with a balcony and on day 2 a note was slipped under the door that the balcony was going to be inaccessible due to maintenance. I saw no maintenance for the other two days and when I returned to my room the balcony doors were zip tied. It was very disappointing particularly not being offered any compensation. When you pay for a balcony room you expect to use the balcony and if that is not possible surely it is in order to offer compensation.

Nestled in a superb location, just minutes from the beach, a leisurely stroll along the shore leads to Surfers Paradise beach and the charming eateries near Cavill Avenue. Quick access to the Cypress Avenue light rail station for convenient travel. Rooms on higher floors offer stunning ocean vistas, perfect for beach gazing. Generously sized rooms and beds cater well to families with two kids. The ambiance is relatively new and spotless, complemented by a warm and accommodating staff. One slight flaw to note is the washbasin's proximity to the wall, causing water splashes due to positioning as there is a mirror shelf provided. It would be much appreciated if a small stool for children’s use so that they can stand on for washing independently. In conclusion, our stay at this hotel has been immensely gratifying, nearly flawless in its offerings.

Modern and funky so a nice change from traditional 5 star hotels

Bath tubs unnecessary -- they are too thin and short to have a comfortable bath so I figure they are 'just there because'. It made it extremely difficult for an older person (me) to get in. They also need a safety handle to help with this rather than rely on the (sturdy) glass partition...and once in, the shower to hang on if there was a mobility problem. They did not have one of those ugly mats to go on the bath floor and I figured it was 'because' they are ugly and everything else is so beautiful. Next upgrade just have walk in showers!

The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. One of the lovely receptionists recommended Burleigh Head to me, and it was stunning! They helped me check in a bit early and gave me a free drinks token to use in the bar while I waited. It's so close to the beach, tram and bars or restaurants. The pool area is gorgeous. The pancakes from the cafe were delicious. The bed is the most comfortable thing I've ever slept in! The room was spotless, very spacious, lovely balcony. It was peaceful to sleep. You can hire a bike for free. Small gym with decent amount of equipment. Everything was perfect!! The staff were working over Christmas and delivered high quality service! Thank you QT - would book again in a heartbeat! Best hotel.

Loved how clean the property and room was. All staff were super friendly. The buffet was great with heaps of options. Room service was fast and great food options. Kevin Murphy products and Dyson added a really nice touch. Loved the beer garden and pool area.

I don’t like that QT is cashless. The gym was extremely small and was difficult to get a workout in with high demand. Pool chairs limited and highly sought out making it difficult to get a seat! Paid extra for parking car at premises, I think it would be nice if this was included .

Good location. Decent room size. Some staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a bit tacky. Things look nice and quirky but don’t work very well, for example, you get Missoni home bath robe which is luxurious but shows screen is a tad too narrow and water goes everywhere after a shower. Sink is too small, and again water splashes everywhere. To request for simple housekeeping items like extra towel (because the bathroom floor is wet!) has to be done on the tablet in the room and it doesn’t get delivered until housekeeping is done the next day. They don’t replenish the tea bags in the room u less requested. It is also the first time that I had to stay in line to get to the cafe for breakfast even though I booked it with the room. The systemic place slows down everything. Had high hopes with the hotel but all these little things was a bit of a let down.
