Location was excellent. Only 5-minute walk to Surfers Paradise. On relatively quiet street off a main road. I booked last minute and the staff were super helpful and friendly over the phone. Speedy check in from time of booking (1 hour's notice). Excellent apartment, comfortable, clean. Accommodation had pool and hot tub facilities. Secure parking. Speedy wifi.

Hard to park at the office where we have to collect keys - had to drive around in circles to find a place to park to make online payment and take identification selfies for the staff. No laundry facilities in the apartment. Same issue to drop off the keys i.e. hard to find parking. I suggest a double lock on the door.

The rooms are good and clean. Location is good too, very near beach.

It has so many stairs, which is difficult for old and people to carry heavy luggage.

Was comfortable and close to everything we needed. Safe and secure underground parking. Pool and spa were great, the kids really enjoyed that. Gardens and grounds beautiful & well looked after, very tidy. Relaxed atmosphere.

The apartment we got while comfortable could do with a makeover and some upkeep. Kitchen draw falling off, bathroom door handle falling off, toilet roll holder falling off, kitchen cupboard wouldn’t close. Only apartment in the whole place without a screen door on the balcony. patio furniture in the living room, not very comfortable. We went with friends and their room was 100% nicer than ours.

To start, upon check-in, we were informed of a deposit where initially the Site did not display it neither on booking.com or Bay Lodge Site itself. It failed to point out that their are stairs and No lifts, so if you have a knee or hip injury, you are better off going somewhere else! They will not accommodate you. Unfortunately my overall experience was not very good. Flies kept coming out of the air cond and the bathroom smelt like cockroaches. The cupboards were extremely dirty everywhere and smelt of cockroach faeces. The cutlery cupboards were filthy dirty as well as the all cupboards throughout the unit. Their was old dirty, dusty junk sitting in the hall way cupboards. The apartment altogether was despicable. Even the Oven didnt work properly, not to forget the washing machine was absolutely annoying with it stopping throughout the entire wash process.
