Great location with easy access to everywhere. Room was fantastic (got to see whales from the balcony)

Suddenly required to pay $20 PER NIGHT!!! for the privilege of parking at the hotel I'm staying at knowing full well that parking on the road is at a premium. It is the first time in 10years of my staying at the Mantra Sun City that I have been asked to pay to park. Considering the new hotels being built directly around the Mantra Sun City coupled with the current cost of living issues we are facing, throwing add ons like this which are not detailed clearly will certainly make me think twice on returning. I only received complimentary parking due to discussing the issue with the head receptionist who then agreed that bookings prior to August, free parkign would be honoured The indoor spa pool was also not working and in desperate need of a decent clean.

The pool facilities were fantastic, you could always find a quiet place to yourself. The tram is directly outside which made travelling to Cavill Avenue and Broadbeach a breeze! Only $1.00 per round trip.

There was unfortunately construction occurring across the road, we would recommend a city view as opposed the the ocean view to avoid the early starts 6 days a week, but if you're an early riser it's more incentive to get down to the pools.

This place was great - we stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment with 3 couples and our toddler. The apartment was huge - so spacious for all of us in the living areas and the bedrooms were a great size, especially the master bedroom. The facilities were good, we only used the indoor pool due to the rime of year but the outdoor pool looked amazing. Also the location was excellent, tram stop and bus stop basically right outdoors, walking distance to the beach and Cavill ave. For the price and based on some of the reviews I was surprised how great the place was and it definitely exceeded my expectations.

The TV wasn't connected to WiFi and the WiFi available was a 24hr sign up to the hotel company - I feel the TV should just be connected for everyone ready to go. Also there was no dishwasher liquid and only 1 dishwasher tablet and packet of washing powder in the room - though we were able to get more from reception, but having more available upon arrival would be handy, particularly for bigger groups.

Buffet breakfast was great

The loungeroom had a old lounge and not very comfortable ..I've been to mantra atleast 10 times in my life and this was the first apartment I've had with a dated lounge that wasn't comfortable. Only few pots to cook with that food always stuck to and we had to request a non stick pan .fridge makes alot of ticking noise ..views where great from apartment and rooms were spacious but beds alittle hard in kids room.

I booked a One-Bedroom Apartment with Ocean View and the receptionist had a great and patient attitude. I did request for a higher floor on Booking.com and was arranged to 29th floor as a result, which was trustful and generous of the Accor manager. Besides, you can leave your luggage here when you just check out and are waiting for your flight or switching to another hotel. The ocean view is so nice and clear and overlooking the building from the balcony can be exhilarating. However, at first late night, I came back and the room card worked fine at front door, lifts except for my room door, so I realised the sensor of the room door lock was malfunctioning, not even showing any lights. Thereafter, I went down to the reception desk and no one was there but a minute later, fortunately there came a man and was willing to help out. As a result, he said it happened because I did open the balcony window when I just checked in, but the weather got much worse, rainier and windier than I thought after I went out at 4 p.m. Because it was extremely windy and rainy, which was impossible to go out to buy drinks, I went down to B1 (card scanned) and there were a few vending machines selling chips, soft drinks, and energy drinks. Moreover, the quilt on the bed was very thin that you can easily feel cold after hours; however, there were some blankets for more warmth while sleeping if you need them. In conclusion, the location is so convenient that you can just go to the side door of the hotel and reach the tram station (surfers paradise north) directly but when you return, you need to take out your room card to scan the sensor to enter again. Overall, I would rate it a 9.5 out of 10!

Nothing bad at all

Room was clean and well presented. Location is fine with access to the tram and walking distance from Surfers Paradise central. Pool, waterslide and spa facilities are great for kids and teens. Gym is well presented. Basketball ring is gone but tennis courts are still very good.

The common bar and food area closes very early, even earlier than advertised if there are few people using it. As a service it should remain open much longer. Happy hour finishes (or starts) too early. Cocktails are very basic, made with minimal effort. If this was improved a lot more people would use these.

Location was great it was very close to Surfers Paradise shopping district and the light rails. We had a 3 bedroom apartment which was very spacious and it also had a sofa bed in the lounge The views were spectacular with the balcony overlooking the beach and the otherside of the apartment overlooking the river The main bedroom has a bathroom with a spa Cooking utensils were provided The pool area outside was great fun. It had slides an indoor heated pool, spa and saunas Staff were very friendly and attentive to our requests

2 bedrooms have ensuites however there is no communal bathroom in the apartment so people staying in the 3rd bedroom have to use an ensuite to have a shower. There is however a communal toilet

Loved all the facilities included in the accomodation eg. multiple pools and spas, gym, sauna, pool bar and breakfast kitchen, tennis courts and a basketball hoop. I also loved seeing the events to activities in the elevator for once on for the month :) The design and landscaping is gorgeous! The tram is right outside the accomodation so getting places is no trouble, especially with the beach only a 5min walk away!! The room was spacious with air con which was a blessing. Balcony provided a gorgeous view which I’ve attached

I wish the kitchen offered an evening meal of some sort (only because we arrived late on a public holiday we had to resort to the 7/11) or maybe including a microwave in the room. But overall there was nothing I didn’t like about it!

We loved the range of amenities and ease of everything. The pool area is great, tennis court and gym are easily accessible. Staff were lovely.

Breakfast. We paid extra to have included breakfast every morning and I wish we didn’t. Unfortunately most of the food was bland and of poor quality. You have to pay extra if you want a good coffee. All the cereal was stale and when I asked if they had any more the worker opened up the cupboard and I saw a collection of large cereal bangs that were not sealed. They didn’t seem to understand that they would clearly be the same. The bacon was the cheapest you could find. The eggs had no seasoning. The fruit was minimal. All the bread was stale. The juice was sour. The only food edible was baked beans and watermelon so that was my breakfast for an entire week.

We asked for a quiet room with a sea view and were very disappointed to find when we arrived we looked out onto a building site with a jack hammer going from 7am to 5pm 6 days a week. We asked to be moved and were given a room with a hinterland view which was perfect! The staff were very understanding and helpful. If you want a sea view be aware that there is a site just coming out of the ground and at least 2 others which have not even started yet. Koastal Kitchen was not great for breakfast which cost $25 per head - go to the supermarket and self cater.
