The grounds , the bars etc and the staff were excellent. The view was nice too .

The bed was hard as a rock , the pillows were to soft the air cond was not good enough and to be honest the room was very underwhelming for the money we paid , thought it would have been better given the money they want for a room and it’s the Marriott, the room badly needs an upgrade.

The big pool with fish is amazing, as always. Our room was spacious for a hotel room. Comfy bed. The buffet breakfast, while the restaurant was super busy, was delicious with a lot of variety and the staff were amazing.

The pool bar food menu needs to be updated. The day we were there it was lightly sprinkling and we were not allowed to put the umbrellas up. Maybe time to renovate the outdoor areas and add umbrellas that can handle light rain and wind so guests paying a lot to stay can still enjoy the outdoor spaces. It rains so often on the GC.

Everything. An exceptional resort with very pleasant and helpful staff. I loved the “little caring touches” for example when you queue for breakfast there are complementary orange juices and mini-pastries while you wait.

Although the Vacation Club rooms cost less then the Marriott Resort rooms they have not been refurbished and ours was outdated. For example, the carpet design, sofa and colours of the wardrobe doors were outdated. I was also surprised to find on arrival, for the first time, that guests are charged $100 a night as a security deposit. The trainee reception person did not explain to me that you can use this as “credit” when you ask for restaurant bills etc to be put on to your room account. I did not find this out until a more experienced reception team member told me at check out.

Staff were the most welcoming and helpful I have ever experienced. They gave us a free bottle of wine, let us have late check out for free and even gave us a pool pass after we checked out so we could enjoy the facilities for the rest of the day! The pool is also pretty spectacular - never seen anything like it before.

They were cleaning the reef pool whilst we were there so it was quite merky but what can you do I guess :)

Welcome drink , fabulous kind Staff , location was nice as I didn’t want the noise at night from cavill ave area , gorgeous pool , room lovely modern , arcade room little movie area for kids , restaurant was A+, smell of hotel was lovey ,

Sofa roll out bed was terribly noisy and uncomfortably , spa/jacuzzi need to be much bigger or more to accommodate more quests .

Loved the location and the amenities on site! It was close to trams and the beach, and the rooms were clean and tidy.

I rated slightly lower only because of the bed. It felt a bit sunken in and uncomfortable considering how much you were paying. I would have expected a firmer mattress/pillow.

Our small family spent two nights at The Marriott and we could not have been happier. From the minute you walk in, you feel pampered and looked after. Every staff member was delightful, the facilities were fantastic and the room was modern & clean. The pool areas was a highlight for all of us. We will be back!

Everything was fantastic!

I just love this hotel. I used to live at the Gold Coast not long after the hotel opened & I became a foundation member of the gym when it opened and the general public could have memberships. I used to hang out regularly at the pool after a workout, have drinks & food at the hotel, use the day spa…it was so awesome! I have always wanted to bring my kids to this hotel now that I am a parent. It is often out of our price range but I decided to ‘lash out’ for a one night stay when we had to come to the coast for an event for my child because I wanted my kids to experience the hotel & the pool area. We all loved it! We loved our suite, the breakfast, the pool & waterslide, the welcome drinks, the big bath & big luxury bathroom, robes, absolutely fantastic service from every staff member we met, our comfy bed and the beautiful view. It’s my favourite hotel!

We were thrilled to get a suite with 2 rooms & 2 bathrooms - so nice! The only thing that my kids didn’t love was the sofa bed. They would have loved a comfy luxurious bed like we had.

The facilities were all incredible from the pool to the restaurants, the room was clean and well kept and everything available was easy and ready. What made our stay stand out and really contributed to us waking away very happy was the staff member Holley from front desk. She was an absolutely beautiful person to be greeted by and made us feel nothing was to much to ask. She was incredible at her job and made your hotel stand out more then anything.

The most beautiful property, with wonderful amenities. Everything was so clean and felt so luxury, and the staff were all so lovely. Despite the luxury feel it was still very family friendly! The pools and restaurants were amazing.
