Our first visit and we arrived unintentionally early but that was not a problem and we were greeted like "regulars" by the very welcoming lady owner who made us feel at home before giving us the key to our room along with local information. The room itself was large, clean and had a really comfortable bed with a touch of class ornate towel arrangement showing care for visitors. A nice clean bathroom was in keeping with the room quality and the included facilities were excellent, better than usually expected in the area.

The Motel is being systematically refurbished and consequently there is evidence of that however there was nothing to dislike unless you didn't enjoy the friendly plants and tjhe cheeky parrot adorning the stairs to the top floor.

A lot of space in the room. It is a older style of motel. But really happy, clean, had fridge, tea and coffe facilities, extra pillows and blanket. WiFi, with password in the room. TV with heaps of channels. Bed was a little bit to soft for me, but that is a personal choice. Had soap, shampoo, etc in pump bottles which I like, instead of individual packages. Perfect budget place, had everything you needed.

Could include a simple usb plug in the room.

Jeff and Sharon were wonderful hosts. They gave us a room upgrade from Queen to King at no extra charge. The room was very roomy and clean. It had an inviting presents from when you opened the door. Everything was welcoming from towels on the bed, to furniture being stowed, so it was not in your way. The bed was well presented and comfortable.

The fan did not work. However, we were told they were waiting on an electrician to come and fix it. So that was out of there control.

Undercover car parking most of the time was fab out of the heat. Proper hairdryer! Two good mirrors with fluo lights over, great for putting makeup on! Hook in bathroom for toiletry bag. Helpful staff helping with our TV. Big long bench in main room. Good size room. Swimming pool adequate with seating

Dated but didn’t matter with all the good things!

Everything was perfect! The beds were comfortable and clean, there was enough room for all four of us, and parking was a cinch! Late booking and communication over either over the phone or online check-in were even very easy. We were only looking for a clean, comfortable and convenient place to stay one night in, and this exceeded those expectations.

Room set out was great for a family of six.

We had an upstairs room, and the access is via stairs, and then along open balcony beside the rail. Probably due to the size of the seats along this area it felt a little narrow and like weaving between chairs and balcony rail, which would be harder for some, and dependent on bag sizes. We weren’t phased, and the room suited us perfectly. So aren’t deterred. We could use the fridge microwave and kettle and get everyone breakfast in the morning and a snack at night before bed. Loved being in the same room as each other, and watching cartoons in the am - a treat for our kids - while we made a coffee before heading out for the day.

Man at reception was friendly and helpful. Was given a nice little bottle of fresh milk. Had a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, cutlery and crockery and a plastic bowl to wash them if needs be. Bed was comfy. There were reading lights on both sides of the bed. Room could be made quite dark. Walk across road to river.

The owners were very helpful and friendly. The gardens were so pretty with flowers everywhere. Great location for all the things we wanted to do. Quiet location with very little traffic noise.

The bathroom sink was very tired and the water pressure in the shower was very poor. The room needs to be refurbished.

Place looks a bit tired in decor, it could be nicer with drapes and a rug and where spare single bed is a lounge and coffee table, overall it had everything you need, hair dryer, shampoo and body wash in one and conditioner. It was a good location to pubs clubs and beach, I'd stay again

Well appointed room, although a little dated the decor certainly was holiday and was equipped with everything you might want during your stay. Super friendly and grounds were beautifully kept and very comforting... Would highly recommend staying, will be back if in the area.

Nothing it was perfect apart from being a little dated but their creative flare decorating it made it that more special.
