One of the best airport stays we’ve had! A very comfortable and spacious room (and very quiet, we didn’t hear any flights arriving or leaving!), excellent breakfast buffet, and the hotel is just a 2 minute walk from the terminal. We ended up checking in for our flight and dropping our bags first, then headed back to the hotel to have breakfast, which worked really well. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Public transportation is also nearby just across from the terminal, we took a bus to Palm Beach (12 min I think on the 777, and all public transport is only 50c) and had a lovely dinner at the Collective. The hotel has a lovely restaurant too but we’re vegetarian and there aren’t too many options for vegetarian mains, however having the bus stop so close is wonderful! No long walks or higher rates for the airport stop, which is rare. Perfect hotel to book when arriving or departing from Gold Coast airport!

Fantastic location for early morning flight from Gold Coast airport. Rooms were modern and clean. It was a little pricey - but worth the money for the convenience.

We stayed in winter. The only blanket on the bed was very thin. It was not warm or comfortable. The spare blanket in the wardrobe was not much better. There was only one pillow per person on the bed and only one spare in the wardrobe. We were able to go to the airport and check-in and then come back to the hotel for breakfast - but be warned, they will not allow you into the restaurant until 6am on the dot. They made us wait in line at the door. It would have been nice to get seated with a coffee a little earlier - especially since their website states that the restaurant is open for coffee and light snacks from 5am.

It would be good if a shuttle bus was run to Coolangatta especially when Cooly rocks is on. I'm sure people would happily pay $5 each for a one way trip. It's just the bus service was so so poor with waiting times up to 45 minutes. It was so frustrating. This means that next year I may try and book closer to Coolangatta as it really negatively impacted the experience and though nothing to do with the hotel there were a lot of us very frustrated.

Great room, comfy bed, tea coffee facilities in the room and complimentary bottles of water. Restaurant downstairs had a great atmosphere, food was delicious and our breakfast each morning was great.

I unfortunately hadn't read the fine print of the $25/night charge for parking and there is no guarantee of a park if you're coming in late after going out as happened on our first night at 11:30 pm after a function at twin towns, fortunately a staff member was finishing her shift and gave us her park. Normally they suggest you park across the road in the airport parking but that was full too. Maybe it was just that the hotel was fully booked over the Easter weekend, but we chose to stay in the second night just to guarantee a car park, certainly not ideal on holiday. We were also disappointed that the rooftop bar is now closed for casual drinks

The room was very pleasant and soundproof - I didn't hear a single airplane during my stay. The bed was very comfortable and I really appreciated the complimentary water bottles in my room. The pool was long enough that one can swim in it, which was an added bonus. I liked that I had free breakfast included in my stay and appreciated the breakfast hours (6:30-10:30am), as I had to leave the hotel at 7am each day. Also loved the fact that one can get a $10 eco credit at the restaurant for every day one doesn't require the room to be serviced.

While I loved having free breakfast included in my stay, I probably would say that the buffet is not really worth the $33 stand-alone price. Was also thinking that somebody who is vegan would not find much apart from some dry cereal, melon and a few grapes. One other thing to mention is that there is a 5G tower about a 100m from the hotel, so if you are trying to avoid those, you're better off to go elsewhere.

It wasn't crowded - we never saw anyone on our floor. Meals are available all day in the spacious, open plan lobby restaurant. Lovely ground floor pool, but people in restaurant/ lobby can see you ie not private location. Impressive gym and patio on the top floor (well worth going up there for the views).

They do advertise a rooftop bar on the recorded message, but that doesn't actually operate. The bar in the lobby operates most hours though. Be great if parking was free for guests. Being in the airport precinct there aren't really any free street options if you do not want to pay $25 per night. Be great if there was a guest operated laundry.

Absolutely great staff, very professional and willing to go that extra mile! Well done to the staff. The location was great as we had a great view from our room. It was very quiet and you would never know your next door to the airport! Wonderful Buffet breakfast the choices were excellent and had all you needed, well worth it.

The only thing they had was the small sachets of coffee or tea, but no biscuits? Usually in these types of motels you would expect some sort of snack but surprisingly nothing?pretty sad for what you pay to stay here?

I recently had the chance to stay at Rydges Gold Coast Airport, and I have to say, it absolutely exceeded my expectations for an airport hotel. Location: 10/10 If convenience is a priority, you really can’t beat this place. It’s literally across the road from the domestic terminal—maybe a 60-second walk if you’re strolling. I had an early morning flight and being able to walk out of my room and be at check-in within minutes was a game-changer. Bonus: the beach is just a short 5-minute walk away, which was a great surprise. Room & Comfort: 9/10 The rooms are clean, modern, and surprisingly stylish for an airport hotel. The Gold Coast-inspired decor gives it a bit of personality, and the bed was super comfortable. Mine had a large Smart TV, great water pressure in the shower, and good blackout curtains—perfect for a pre- or post-flight rest. The soundproofing was also impressive; I barely heard any noise from the nearby runways. Amenities: 8/10 There’s a rooftop bar called The Salty Fox that’s worth a visit even if you’re not staying overnight. It has a great vibe, solid cocktails, and killer views over the airport and coastline. There’s also a decent-sized pool and gym, which is more than I expected from an airport hotel. Dining: 7.5/10 The hotel’s restaurant Runway was fine—good variety and decent portions. Nothing overly fancy, but definitely convenient and tasty enough after a long travel day. Service: 9/10 Staff were friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Check-in and check-out were both quick, and I was able to store my bags for a few hours after checking out, which was super helpful. Overall: 9/10 If you’re flying in or out of Gold Coast Airport, staying at Rydges is a no-brainer. It’s more than just a stopover spot—it’s comfortable, clean, and stylish with some nice extras. I’d definitely stay here again, even if I wasn’t flying the next day.

I very much enjoyed my 24-hour stay at Rydges Gold Coast Airport with my well-appointed room, a beautiful large pool, indoor and outdoor dining, plenty of space to relax and a nice breakfast buffet – and all this conveniently close to the airport terminal and only a short walk to the beach. My room was spacious and very comfortable with a writing desk, very good lighting, sufficient storage space, sensibly placed power points and block out curtains. The soundproofing is perfect – my room was completely quiet despite being so close to the airport. I especially enjoyed the lovely, relaxing holiday atmosphere at the beautifully designed pool and surrounding area with plenty of sun lounges. The particularly friendly and helpful staff made me feel very welcome. On departure day I relaxed at the hotel until airline check-in time and then just walked across to the terminal. Completely stress-free! I highly recommend Rydges Gold Coast Airport.

I found the music in the public areas unnecessarily loud. And I found the temperature in the gym too cold and the music so unbearably loud that I walked straight out again.

No table service in downstairs dining area. Meals had to be ordered from the bar. Restaurant staff were delivering meals from kitchen area as well as working the bar and taking meal orders. This lead to a lengthy delay in receiving meals No water was provided at the table. Entree was delivered to table along with main meal, too much food at once causing food to go cold. Breakfast menu was very good and beautifully presented, however the absence of pears, peaches, and apricots was noticable from the available line up. I think they would have been more preferable on a traditional breakfast menu than a lettuce salad.and cold peices if dry cake.
