We were impressed with the room for the price. We were upstairs unfortunately, so if you need to be downstaris request it. We had everything we needed and we were comfortable. We would stay again. It is just out of town a bit, but as we drove that was not a problem. Plenty of parking nearby your accommodation. Due to the public holidays the restaurant was not open. We would use the Station Motel again.

We had nothing to complain about. Oh just a hint as to where the WIFI details were when you check in. We couldn't link to the TV to stream without it and it was getting late.

The room was spacious, the bed large and comfy, in room cooking stove top, microwave and fridge. Plenty of storage space. One of the better rooms I have encountered.

Some highway truck noise but expected as on main road and did get the ground floor room closest to the road ! Restaurant not open Friday till Sunday and we stayed over a weekend but not an issue as attending a conference that could some of our eating needs, could store left overs in fridge and re heat in microwave and we supplied our breakfast needs anyway. :)

Abrupt middle age lady at reception. Did the big sigh and tut tut at our request to have a ground floor room. Reluctantly fulfilled our request with more sighing. Was still snapping at her male colleague as we left the office. He was very friendly but obviously under her command!

Friendly service when checking in, ample parking, a clean, cool and comfortable room at the end of a very long day travelling was a big bonus. Even though the motel is next to the highway, you don’t hear the traffic and the very comfortable king sized bed means you have a great nights sleep. Not the first time I’ve stayed here over the years and is now the only place I’ll stay at Parkes - always reliably good.

Comfy bed and friendly staff. This is our midway point between Toowoomba and Melbourne, so we stayed twice. We preferred the room we got the second time as it was similar to the pictures on Booking.com . I didn't like the wheelchair access room as the shower facilities has a shower curtain (maybe it's just a shower curtain phobia I have - they always seem to latch onto you and it makes you feel dirty). Parking was good for us as there weren't that many people there when we stayed, so we could park the car where we can see it. Still the best place we could find to stay after trying many other places in surrounding towns on the way down and back.

There must be a drainage issue. Firstly getting the car over the grate at the front without causing damage to your car is a challenge. Secondly the smell of sewage in both rooms was unmistakable and the first thing I had to fix each time on my arrival. Privacy in the shower may be an issue to some people as the frosted louvred windows face the other rooms and car park.

The cleanliness and comfort of the room. The quiet and subdued atmosphere of the room automatically helped you relax after a long drive. Refreshing and relaxing

We travelled from Tamworth on the Sunday and were a little disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open. It meant we had to get back in the car to find somewhere to eat.

Restaurant was excellent and the variety was great. Manager's couldn't have been more helpful, even though they had only been there a short time.

I think if you had a room up the front of the hotel it would be a bit noisy from road traffic. Our room was fine as it was located down at the rear of the property

Great value, clean and well looked after. Staff were amazing and the property felt very safe.

If I had to pick something for improvement I would say the bathrooms may be slightly outdated. In saying that I’ve definitely paid more money to stay in less comfortable and clean properties.

The hotel was so much better than expected, matched the photos and didn't disappoint! The room size was great, beds were comfortable, great water pressure in the bathrooms, such an easy access hotel that is minutes away from town, would recommend if you are visiting friends/family in Parkes like we did!

Lovely warm and friendly welcome on arrival.. our room was modern, very clean and comfortable with very comfy king bed! There is also a restaurant on site..tho we had room service dinner which was delicious! We have stayed here several times now, always happy with our room and the friendly service..
