We didn’t like how cold the pool was, on booking to stay at Parkes we chose this motel because of the ‘heated’ pool as we had an 8 year old with us. He was disappointed that he couldn’t have a swim as he was looking forward to it

The motel room was spacious, extremely clean and comfortable. The bathroom, while a little tired, was also very clean with plenty of room in the shower. We had dinner at the motel restaurant and the food was delicious. A step above anything I have eaten in a motel before. There was plenty of parking right outside the rooms.

The only negative comment was in relation to road noise, which is to be expected when you are on the main road. We always travel with ear plugs so it wasn't a problem for us. This problem will shortly be rectified with the opening of the bypass, which will take the trucks out of town.

Room was clean and tidy and spacious. On-site restaurant served really good dinner meals and basic breakfast (and well priced) - but only open during the week. Staff very polite.

Being on the main road there was a little bit of road noise from passing vehicles but not enough to be a big concern. Was in upstairs room so access only by stairs (no lift) so awkward with large bags and for those staying upstairs were not permitted to park in front of building (reserved for ground level rooms - upstairs have to park on other side of carpark)

We had been travelling for over a month. The shower pressure was the best we had for the entire trip. The room was clean but outdated.

Rooms/bathroom/air conditioning unit was very outdated and needs upgrading. The air conditioner/heater was very loud and rattled all night, we needed to leave it on as it was minus 4 degrees Celsius overnight. But the noise from the heating kept us awake all night. The shower flooded the entire floor despite turning the pressure down lower. Although the disability facilities in the bathroom were great.

Felt very retro staying there which we liked. Only motel we found on our tour that had a swimming pool. Unheated but still a bonus. Good home cooked food for dinner. Could have a cup of coffee outside our room as there was a table and chairs and coffee provided. Nice big comfortable bed. Big shower. Toiletries good.

Pool was unheated though it is supposed to have solar panels to do so. The location was out of town so not able to walk to the shops or cafes.

Quiet & clean. Facilities were good, but the electric blanket plug was broken. Didn't use it. But we used the air con heater, worked well. We ordered room service & had the Roast Pork & veges, it were absolutely beautiful. Compliments to the chef for the night of 16/6/25.

Very friendly staff, well organised, room tidy and clean. We didnt use the restaurant but menu looked good. Recommend

Given pool is an indoor pool was hoping it would have been warm enough to swim in but it was not. Not serving breakfast on a Saturday morning (we knew this ahead of time, but meant we had to go elsewhere to find brekkie)

Facility was well presented. Food was good. Had across service dinner which was great.

I asked for a ground floor room as it was an option that was presented during booking. I was not given one, and the motel did not advise me prior to my arrival, with a reason why. I dislike that, especially as it was an option.

Over all it was very clean, and quiet even though it’s close to the main road. The room was comfortable and the beds very cosy.

A little outdated in the bathroom but still very clean. Not at the motels fault but noisy neighbours very early in the morning wasn’t a good way to start our day.

The hotel was clean comfortable and the staff were . Although, I haven’t eaten at the restaurant myself, but word around town is that it’s easily the best in Parkes. The chef is incredibly talented and known for creating amazing meal
