Easy to find just off the Highway. Modern clean and wonderful comfortable beds and a private courtyard off the room Great WiFi and the TV allowed access to streaming channels Laundry facilities were great and free of charge. The highlight was the restaurant. Lovely set up with a warm fire and a lovely ambience. The food was amazing! The staff were also wonderful, so friendly and helpful. Thank you so much guys!! We were travelling home and so to pull up here have everything right at your door meant we didn't have go anywhere at all and could leave early the next morning without any stress

The lighting in the room was a little dim

We were impressed with the room for the price. We were upstairs unfortunately, so if you need to be downstaris request it. We had everything we needed and we were comfortable. We would stay again. It is just out of town a bit, but as we drove that was not a problem. Plenty of parking nearby your accommodation. Due to the public holidays the restaurant was not open. We would use the Station Motel again.

We had nothing to complain about. Oh just a hint as to where the WIFI details were when you check in. We couldn't link to the TV to stream without it and it was getting late.

Large room. Large, comfortable bed. Good location. Friendly and helpful staff.

This motel is a newer construction, built within the last 20 years, but unfortunately, it is lacking maintenance. The carpets in our room were dirty and stained, and it looked like the entire place is still wearing its original paint. It needs a good clean and freshen up. The restaurant was closed during our stay due to staffing issues, which also let the place down. It was, however, at the cheaper end of our budget, so that helped make it less disappointing.

The room was spacious, the bed large and comfy, in room cooking stove top, microwave and fridge. Plenty of storage space. One of the better rooms I have encountered.

Some highway truck noise but expected as on main road and did get the ground floor room closest to the road ! Restaurant not open Friday till Sunday and we stayed over a weekend but not an issue as attending a conference that could some of our eating needs, could store left overs in fridge and re heat in microwave and we supplied our breakfast needs anyway. :)

Friendly service when checking in, ample parking, a clean, cool and comfortable room at the end of a very long day travelling was a big bonus. Even though the motel is next to the highway, you don’t hear the traffic and the very comfortable king sized bed means you have a great nights sleep. Not the first time I’ve stayed here over the years and is now the only place I’ll stay at Parkes - always reliably good.

Abrupt middle age lady at reception. Did the big sigh and tut tut at our request to have a ground floor room. Reluctantly fulfilled our request with more sighing. Was still snapping at her male colleague as we left the office. He was very friendly but obviously under her command!

Nice larger size clean and modern room with a good king-size bed. The heater worked well on a colder night, and when turned off, the room kept warm all night. The suite has a basic kitchenette and microwave, so you could knock up a meal if needed. We ate out in town, but there is a restaurant onsite as well, next visit we will try that and save time.

Nothing, we found everything was as expected.

The furnishings were comfortable and it was great to have lounge chairs and dining in a motel room. The quietness and darkness of the room were perfect for a good night sleep. The staff were welcoming, helpful and thus we felt comfortable. The restaurant offered good food and good coffee to start our day. We would stay again for sure.

Comfy bed and friendly staff. This is our midway point between Toowoomba and Melbourne, so we stayed twice. We preferred the room we got the second time as it was similar to the pictures on Booking.com . I didn't like the wheelchair access room as the shower facilities has a shower curtain (maybe it's just a shower curtain phobia I have - they always seem to latch onto you and it makes you feel dirty). Parking was good for us as there weren't that many people there when we stayed, so we could park the car where we can see it. Still the best place we could find to stay after trying many other places in surrounding towns on the way down and back.

There must be a drainage issue. Firstly getting the car over the grate at the front without causing damage to your car is a challenge. Secondly the smell of sewage in both rooms was unmistakable and the first thing I had to fix each time on my arrival. Privacy in the shower may be an issue to some people as the frosted louvred windows face the other rooms and car park.

The cleanliness and comfort of the room. The quiet and subdued atmosphere of the room automatically helped you relax after a long drive. Refreshing and relaxing

We travelled from Tamworth on the Sunday and were a little disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open. It meant we had to get back in the car to find somewhere to eat.
