The room was somewhat basic but quite adequate, the bed was comfortable. The motel is quieter than most in Forbes, in terms of traffic noise, but there was the usual noise from other rooms. Location is convenient to the town centre.

No one is at reception, checkin was by phone. This means one couldn’t use the wifi as no password was given - there was no motel or town information in the room, so no help there. The parking spaces are very narrow which was a problem as nearly all guests had large utes squeezed into the parking spots. Probably would have been better to park in the street. Overpriced, though being off the highway may account for higher charge.

Location was great, walking distance to town and restaurants. Room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom was well stocked with quality soaps and shampoos. We arrived after staffing hours so we were not given the wifi password but the mobile contact number on the reception door was awesome. 1 message and I had a quick response with the password. Couldn’t fault after hours service at all.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

The only thing that was a little too small was the width of the available car-parking spaces. When there were two (2) large vehicles parked either side of the car-parking space, there was very little room to get in and out of your motor vehicle. Fortunately everyone was careful not to scrape anyones doors or side of the car, however, was always concerned when the large work vehicles were parked so close !!!

The locality.

The housekeeping staff standing outside our room whilst jobs were delegated loudly and hovering around our room until we packed our car and left. They began cleaning our room before we got the car started. Checkout is at 10am not at 9am, nor 8am, but, 10am. I would not have been impressed if I wanted a sleep in before our day of travel. Oh and for the love of, please Greece your housekeeping trollies. Your guest stays are because they are needing somewhere to rest in peace. Thank you

Plenty of room.

The fridge was leaking or defrosting, so there was a pool of water in the bottom of it and the carpet in front of it was soaked. Also all the lids of the items we put in the fridge were covered with pools of water the next morning. Hard to find the jug to fill the Kettle. You can't fit the Kettle under the tap.

I was thrilled to find there was a toaster so I could make my own grain sourdough bread into crunchy toast to have with my crunchy peanut butter. I don't like UHT milk but I always carry my own fresh milk for my cup of tea. Very pleased to find an iron and ironing board so I could iron my crushed dress. The Locally made biscuits were delicious. Your domestic ladies were very helpful - please thank them for me. I was going to leave a note but couldn't find any blank paper in the drawer - maybe you could supply a couple of sheets of blank paper and a pen.

Everything was perfect for me

Very easy walk to a good quiet pub, felt like a safe neughbourhood, very quiet, comfortable bed, good shower pressure and hot water

Reception had gone home ( we didn't get in til about 6 or 7) and my husband had to try a couple of numbers to find out where to stay et c. No message sent to us. Shower head in an odd place

Excellent location, very clean the staff were very friendly.

Overall the property was very comfortable. Only problem was the vanity didn’t drain very well and it took a very long time for the hot water to come through for both the vanity and shower.

The room and bathroom were incredibly clean and well presented. Parking was easy and right outside our room. The location was great - a quick and easy walk into the town centre for dinner.

The residents of 2 neighbouring rooms were a little bit noisy, returning late at night. But that's to be expected in a motel.

Massive room, great bath and shower, lots of hot water, good bench tops for Laptop and ample power points. Convenient location, Tea and coffee provided and crockery and cutlery too. Mugs instead of Cups !! Great overall, Have stayed there twice and would highly recommend.
