Owners were very nice.. didn't bother us at all & allowed us an early check-in.. room was clean & comfortable.. comfy beds & plenty of spare linen.. nice view of the lake & directly adjacent to a park with playground, toilets, BBQ area & a little van selling a variety of food & drinks & coffee (called Oh So Sugar).. would definitely stay here again 😀

Toilet & bathroom mirror/vanity was a little dirty upon arrival (maybe due to us requesting early check-in) but nothing a quick wipe over didn't fix which I done myself as I didn't want to annoy management as they'd been extra accommodating.. wasn't a major problem for me & I'd stay here again no worries 😀

The Wi-Fi was non-existent. I realise there was a notice in the office about this but I wonder how long that hasn’t worked? Outside at the front of the accommodation around the side was very untidy and unkept. It looks like no one is bothering to keep the Gardens nice and the swimming pool was very dirty full of leaves and dirt and the, automatic pool cleaner was just sitting in the pool not working

There was a change of managemet since my last stay. Still was very easy to check in, not very busy, but was middle of the week, so didn't get crowded. Pretty good value for the tarrif. The downside is there wasn't a restaurant attached, but that just makes you go and look for something. Forbes has many good eateries, my favourite is the Post Office Hotel, which is in easy walking distance over the Lake from the motel.

Not much to say, but the night traffic can be noisy, but being on a main highway says it all. Being a fisherman of sorts, needless to say the fish in the lake weren't biting.

Clean / great location/ helpful staff / cosy location even though on main road still very quiet. Charming location near lake.

Being a lonely smoker no ashtrays around for us. You could smoke out of harms way but nowhere to put your butts. Hate to litter with my bad habit so had to put it in bin in room. Not nice smell in room.

It was quiet, and easy to locate.

Parking was insufficient for the amount of rooms. We parked when we arrived, then went for dinner, only to return to no car spaces. Tried to park out the back and had to do a 20 point turn to get my car back out of the limited parking space. Ended up parking in the reception area!

It was in a nice location. It had a park across the road, and it was an easy walk to the shopping centre. The room was cosy and clean. And it was nice and quiet. Had everything we needed.

Car park was a bit cramped when it was full. There was no soap in the bathroom, so we just had to ask for some. The shower curtain was a bit short, so water got onto the floor, and the front door was bowed. But nothing to worry about.

Breakfast was not supplied. Location was good, perhaps a little too close to the main road, but road noise, was very low.

The room was a little "tired", (had a leaking tap in the Bathroom, and cracked tiles).

Absolutely loved the service from speaking on the phone prior to arriving, to when we checked in and the room attendants were always polite and lovely. Rooms are extremely clean and well maintained. Didn't have to ask for anything during our stay. Loved the location right across from the lake and park. Locals asked me did we hear the traffic as it's next to the highway, you definitely don't hear anything. I have stayed at 2 other motels in town and this is the best of them. Also, the pool is perfect for our stay.

Great location. Easy to find. Quiet area. Close to food facilities. Pleasant setting, Close to the Lake. Well set up room. Good food and eating services available.

Shower curtain is a little short for the shower area, some water goes on the floor.

As a person travelling for work the location on the lake is nice for a morning/evening walk or run and the back way to the supermarket means you can get some supplies and have a quiet night.
