The staff are very kind! Laundry facilities are handy and it's in an ideal location to everything you could possibly need like fuel,take away and pubs for meals! Literally all within walking distance from the motel. The lake is right behind you and is wonderful if you need to walk your dog! It's dog friendly and accepting of all sizes but make sure you ring up about a dog friendly room first!

The water in the shower/bath comes out like a turbo jet. You can't complain about water pressure but I struggled to find a nice medium and unfortunately the window above the bath was leaking water pretty bad from the rain we had (I forgot to tell them) but overall,great facilities and a wonderful atmosphere!

We were staying for the Parkes Elvis festival and this location was great not being too far a drive away less than 30mins. The 2bdr apartment was perfect for our family and to have extra space for our gear and food in the kitchen area. The full size fridge was fantastic!

The griller didn’t work on the stove but that was all. Once I think they update the kitchen area with that will be even better. Maybe the pool could have done with a clean but then again it was a very busy week so a lot of people would have been in it, we still enjoyed it.

Value for money was great. Slept a family of 4 for under $200/night - fantastic. Right across the road from the club for great meals. Staff were always friendly, efficient and helpful. Netflix capable large TV Excellent heater/air con unit

Few small things but that's being picky. Not a huge deal but pool gate was locked, possibly closed for the cold season? (Our crazy child was still keen for a swim 😂). May have simply had to ask at reception to be honest as we didn't enquire, but didn't see that sign posted. Room is a little aged which is completely fine, but a deep clean/revamp of a few small things could be done to up it's initial impression (toilet brush due for the bin, stained chair seat coverings).

Table and bbq by the pool, location, easy to find and head to parts of Forbes. Loved that I was handed a milk first things and everything we could need was there in the room. It was also very sound proof, aatge group of party goers were so staying there and we didn't hear them once!!

The loo or around the toilet smelt very uriney, I could tell it was clean, it's probably the grout or ingrained in the seat. The bed was super hard, which just isn't for us. I also couldn't control the tv from the bed, I had to stand up.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and being located next to Club Forbes added to the overall experience with its fantastic entertainment and dining options. The hotel's location near the city and lake made it easy to explore the area. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

location was excellent and staff were friendly. it may not be the newest place in town but there is an old fashion warmth about this place. daily service with replenishment of towels down to biscuits. free use of the washing machine with complementary soap powder and the outdoor clothes line for drying. walk into town and around the Forbes beautiful lake. Forbes is rich in history and has many historic buildings.

Very clean. Good TV. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Very comfortable bed and crisp sheets. Coffee, microwave etc. Quiet even though fully booked. Easy check in and key drop check out. Great location for our needs. Staff friendly. Really liked Forbes.

Room service waking me early on Sunday morning to see if I was still there even though the DND sign was out. Disappointed not to get a rare lie in.

Very convenient place to stay for a stop on a long drive. Walking distance to the shops. Friendly check in. Clean and comfortable. Everything you would want for a town motel. Bonus to have pet friendly rooms.

Slightly thin part of the wall with doors between units made us worry about being too noisy for our neighbours. No problem with sleeping though.

A Gem I'd recommend to anyone wanting up to date facilities and rooms comfort , with old fashioned go the extra mile hospitality from staff and owners who always great you with a smile and try to accommodate anything extra you want.

Great location and just a traditional motel with country feel. Lovely staff and so close to everything.

Was a bit dated and rough. Cob webs in bathroom window, dodgy handyman work and our friend had a mouldy room. Very firm bed and we were there on a busy weekend and it was a bit loud with people walking past the front window less than a step away from the bed.
