The owner is lovely, and very helpful.The room is very clean , and it’s great to have a microwave and toaster. The beds are amazingly comfortable.

The only thing I didn’t like, when I first drove in, It looked cheap and too old , I didn’t think I would have liked to stay there . It doesn’t have a lot of character, it didn’t look appealing,it needs a few native pot plants to brighten it up a little, and the noise of the trains , were annoying, But you can never judge a book by its cover, yes it is an old place, and you can’t change that. But when the owners go out their way to help you, and the room is clean , and the bed , feels like your lying on marshmallows, there is nothing more to say , I truly enjoyed my stay.

Had to travel 14hrs for a my grandfathers funeral. Arrived earlier than expected. Early book in, not a problem, so welcoming, making sure ac was on as it was 38 degrees in Forbes. comfortable clean accommodation with everything you need. Friendly down to earth staff that far exceeded my expectations. Harry and Netty, Thank you so much. Absolutely beautiful people. 😍

The fact I was there for my Pops funeral.

It was awesome. I spent 4 nights in 3 different motels in my journey from Melbourne to Toowoomba. This was the cheapest of the three and the best value for money. I'd highly recommend this place. Some people complained about a train noise in previous comments, and I find it's very not true. Only one train passed during our stay, and it was a faint noise.

My only concern was the AC installed at bed level.

Room was clean and basically comfortable. Nice new bathroom

Unfortunate rail level crossing very close with occasional astonishingly long freight trains blowing horns, and big trucks bumping over tracks. However had to run the air conditioner as window didn't open, so couldn't hear too much at night, apart from the horns.

Clean, convenient to town and dining options. Although the outside of the property needs a freshening up the interior has been nicely updated.

It wasn’t a problem for us as we were at the back of the property, it is next to a major highway and railway some may find it a bit noisy particularly if you have a unit at the front.

This is an under new management hotel being done up. The outside is yet to be done but the rooms are modern and immaculate, I was so impressed. The outside is good but doesn't reflect the rooms. The beds are brand new, amazing rain showers.

That I didn't talk to the staff sooner to know this motel's story, staff are amazing, manager is a great guy.

We have travelled over a month and this is the best accomodation I’ve ever stayed in . Bed is like sleeping on clouds I sleeped like a baby . And the rooms were so clean and they had everything we needed will be back cheers sharon welsh

Great location for a stopover. Newly refurbished room. Really good size. Comfy bed. Good bathroom. Good shower, Kettle and toaster. This motel is being refurbished from the inside out. The room I had was great. Great value if you just need a bed for the night.

It is on a train line with overnight trains.

They appear to be renovating the property and in time it will be good however there was paint mark and spills over the carpet tiles. The best aspect was the King size bed and it’s comfort

Stay here for one night. Just around the corner from the Big pub. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Rooms are excellent and well renovated. Outside could done some loving but I’m sure their working on it. Thanks Mark
