Lovely area. Beautiful vistas. We were very comfortable in our kitchenette room with sliding door to the outside. We used the fire pit too. Loved the courtesy snacks. Enjoyed Dungog Rodeo & Hunter Valley wine tasting & our drive out to Lostock Dam. Perfect Easter weekend.

We took uncut sour dough bread but there was no bread knife so just a heads up to take a bread knife & sharp knife for salad items

Located in a lovely, quiet spot and boasts a very clean and charming room. From the outside, it appears like any other roadside motel. However, the interior is tastefully decorated and the bed is very comfortable. We had a fantastic dinner at the pub next door, and a killer breakfast at the cafe and general store across the road. Overall, a lovely spot for a quick escape. Cannot do better for the price.

The Room was very clean & tidy, inside the rooms are fresh and bright.

We were in a room that hadn’t yet had there full refurb, so has a very old box window air con which isn’t sufficient to heat the room when it’s 3 degrees outside and was very noisy. I understand they are upgrading the rooms aircon and underfloor heating but our room had neither. The beds are on wheels, so moved around when the floor when you moved in bed. Only two pillows for a double bed and single, even though they knew we would be using two beds for 2 people. I only had a short overnight stay.

Brilliant dog friendly accommodation. Comfortable bed, plenty of space. Tiled floors for dogs. Nicely renovated. Quiet area. Pub next door, great cafe across the road and a Thai restaurant. Amazing in such a small community.

Needs a broom in the room to sweep away leaves and hair.

The view out the back was great! Such a clean, well kept space, the bed was comfy and the amenities provided were more than enough! The hosts were super friendly and accommodated our every need, we loved our stay! Having a dog friendly pub right next door was awesome, made things much easier at the end of the day.

What a Fantastic little GEM. Beautiful surrounding, wonderful pub & cafe just a stone's throw away. Staff amazballs😁 and the decor,view and quietness is just a dream. You know it's good when u turn the radio off to listen to the birds and fall asleep on the bench by the window.

The room was pleasant, with a lovely rural outlook. The bed was comfy. There were extra pillows and cosy blankets in the storage boxes.

The fridge was not turned on. I'd put some milk in there the night we arrived but when it wasn't cold the next morning I realised the switch was off.

Scenery was nice, and the people from Zabb Thai and Farmers Hotel (conveniently next to the lodge) were so friendly. Food from Zabb Thai was beautiful!!!

No exhaust fan in bathroom

Great location with walks, watering holes, waterfalls etc all close. Across the road has a cafe that serves great coffee, meals and pizzas of an evening. Short walk beside it to the river where you can swim or watch the stars at night. Massy who manages it always has a smile and provides great service and local tips. Room itself was clean and simple and just what we needed.

My queen bed was on wheels so moved around a bit but that’s minor!

Fantastic customer service , we were so impressed with all the details to make our stay comfortable ! thank you for a great night! we honestly would’ve stayed for longer but had to return home as I wasn’t feeling well.

a few bugs but that’s expected in the country side, we accidentally burned a towel to treat a first aid emergency but we were charged $49 for a single towel replacement! that was unexpected
