After a thorough search of the Noosa area for accommodation to suit our specific needs we found "At The Sound" to be the best for pricing whilst having all the stars🌟🌟🌟🌟needed for a longer stay. (3 weeks) The managers Margret & Mike are such layed back, friendly people they make you feel welcome and on holiday just talking to them. The rooms have a beach holiday feel and are clean with comfortable beds even for larger people. Great aircon and open plan unit. Swimming pool and spa on site. Undercover parking. Great location. No hidden parking fee.

Truely there was nothing here that I didn't like.

Was disappointed that despite my daughter booking her accommodation at the same time as me she ended up paying much more than me just because she only needed one of the rooms for the extra night (as I booked and paid for 2 of the rooms the first night through Booking.com) She also booked direct as I told her to, so we thought she'd get a better price as no agency fees and because we wanted to ensure one of the rooms I booked she could keep for the 2nd night so there was no cleaning to be done after night one (so again saving the accommodation provider) and also meant she could leave her bags in the room

Location was great. Free local bus stopped just across the street. Room was the perfect size for two people. Bed was very comfortable. Pool and spa pool were great. Enjoyed being able to use the bicycles and kayaks for free.

The kitchen bench top in Unit 5 is looking a little tired and the handles on the kitchen drawers were a bit rusty.

The room although a little “tired” in places had everything we needed, the spa bath a bonus and laundry too. The bed was very comfortable oh and we think one of the best showers ever for space and water pressure

I thought it was a little expensive but that’s the area, we travelled a little south and found something else for $50 a night cheaper. It wasn’t all about being in Noosa region for us and it probably suits us better for what we like

We were so impressed by the property standard! Very welcoming, peaceful environment. The decor was lovely and the beds were super comfy. Everything we needed was provided, even down to the double adapter! When I realized how close it was to town, that was the icing on the cake :) I couldn't believe a pet friendly place would have such great facilities at such value for money plus early check-in and late check-out! I highly recommend a stay, we will definitely be back. Thanks, Ruth

I wish I'd booked for a longer stay

Nice and simple motel style stay. Very comfortable for two people with plenty of space in the room including big bathroom and washing facilities. The pool was lovely to have a quick dip in after being at the beach. Air con was awesome during the hot weather whilst we were there 👍

The Pool obviously recent weather has not been kind with leaves but they have an automatic cleaner to make it pristine clean . The Hot tub was adequate temperature but needed a freshen up .

The room was lovely. Well appointed with internal laundry included. The bed was comfy. Parking was easy. We could easily do the flat walk to Hastings Street

The TV went off a few times. I called the manager and she told me how to fix it. It may get noisy if the road outside was busy but this wasn't a problem for us. Handy tip- buy your alcohol before arriving. Local bottle shop was very expensive.

We loved everything. This place is perfect. Immaculate. Good facilities, appreciated the washer after 10 days travelling. Pool and BBQ area lovely. Staff lovely. Bed was sooooooo comfy. Shower amazing. On bus route that costs 50 cents anywhere!!! Cannot fault it, best place we have stayed all holiday.

Liked location and pet friendly, although an upstairs was only available, our fault for booking last minute, it was still accessible and managable. Lovely clean unit with spa bath.

road noise upstairs a little louder than when we previously stayed in ground floor courtyard apartment which we thought was fantastic but our fault for not getting our act together sooner to make the booking. Would try to book courtyard apartment with dog but were still very thankful to the owners for finding us a pet friendly at late notice. They were also very accommodating and helpful.
