We had an ocean view cabin. The first one we were given was tired and needed repairs. We were then offered a newer cabin which was very nice. The pool area was nice and there were lots of amenities for children at the park. There is a general store and pub in Rollingstone and a nice licensed fish and chip shop/ general store at Balgal Beach.

We were unable to swim in the ocean because of the crocodiles, although when the tide went out we could go for walks along the beach.

Location is amazing, facilities great. We are return guests and will be back again. Kids love the visits here. The cabins have everything that you could need. Love a tv in each bedroom although not many channels worked. Can’t get much closer to the waterfront! Perfect sunrises and perfect beach walks. Lots of shells!

Imrpovements - This website advertises cabins as “high speed Internet” however we could not get any internet at all in our apartment nor did the tv or any streaming work. Kids got used to it but I did intend to work a few days and had to leave the apartment which was a pain. Linens clean and bathroom, kitchen general surfaces clean and fresh, but fans, windows and high area dusting built up and needed attention. I didn’t turn fans on as they were very dusty was worried would spread around room. Went for breakfast and had run out of eggs at 9am. Previous visits brekkie was great. Not sure what happened this time - we went to Frosty Mango instead.

We love coming to Rollingstone. This time we stayed at one of the three bedroom cabins with the ocean views right at your doorstep. It was nice and windy so no mozzies about, kids caught a barramundi in the lake, and loved riding their bikes around the park. Cabin had a full size fridge and everything we needed. Pizzas were great on Saturday night. We came in June and weather was perfect, cold enough to wear jumper at night, and warm during the day. Also went for a 15 minute drive up the road to visit frosty mango which was a hit.

Nothing really to complain about, only that we could have done with some more laundry powder sachets and some more dishwashing sachets but that’s because we did multiple loads. So just a heads up to perhaps bring your own. And a heads up to get in early with your pizza order as I went to order at 9am for Sat night and there were already lots of spots taken up. I had booked for 5:45pm but got a text at 5:30pm saying they were ready.

Location and beach, which you can walk along for miles when the tide is out. Got a lake for fish feeding and catching (and release). Jumping pillow. Bmx park. Amazing pool with waterslide. Outdoor screen for kids movies. Over the weekend onsite cafe had delicious burgers one night and then wood fired pizzas the next with a live band. Not our first stay, we’ve been visiting since 2010 and still enjoy staying here. Always leave feeling refreshed and relaxed.

The location and size of accomodation was great. We were able to explore this area of Queensland and especially loved Crystal Creek. The kids also loved the swimming pool on site and the beach.

The smell in the property and that there were cockroaches, every day except our arrival day. We also had some issues with the lighting not working in bedroom, which they needed reminding to sort out. Not really what I wanted to be doing on holiday. The roaches were a real issue. I kept the property clean and no foods left out, bins emptied etc. I was advised they had previously had pest control out.

Everything!! More than happy with our stay, facilities amazing, and park so clean and well kept. I loved the set out of the park, providing everyone a water view, lake or ocean.. such a great idea. Kids had a ball getting around and enjoying seeing fish and eels.. then so much fun with the slide and pool, jumpy pillow! Hermit crabs on the beach and a family of turtles come in each evening. Staff most friendly that we have ever come across, and were so accommodating, we also got our 4th night free! Holiday that has been well needed, and never forgotten 40th and 50th birthdays of ours, we thankyou for that gift of the best time with our family. Memories we won't forget!!

Nothing, can't fault it

Loved how comfortable the beds were, even the futon was surprisingly comfortable for my teenager. The water front cabin was perfect for the 2 day stay.

Could have had more dishwashing liquid possibly a bottle instead of 2 little pouches, parking was a bit hard for the no.21 cabin as there are 2 trees in the way of the car space. The pool was lovely but the chlorine was a bit too strong and found crystal like chlorine on the side of the pool.

I enjoyed the location of my cabin. The staff (Vanessa was exceptional) and made us feel welcomed. Beach access was great!

The TV was tiny and not many channels were accessible. The pizza’s we ordered weren’t cooked properly and quite expensive for the size. No dish scourer was provided which made it difficult to clean up the kitchenware. No fans in the bedrooms which made it quite stuffy.

We found the location to be just perfect with the beach right on our doorstep. The swimming pool was a good and an ideal way to relax after a long day of diving. The staff were quite friendly and warned us about a recent Crocodile sighting and to use caution near the beach.

The glass sliding door was unable to be locked, it was a bit disappointing that not all cabins had a BBQ on the deck. There were a few bugs in the room, we think they were flees and have left with bites on us.

Second stay here, and it won't be the last. I love how quiet it is. It's such a great place to recharge. Staff are awesome...special shout out to Vanessa, a real asset to the place. We visited mid week this time, so it was super quiet, and we had the beach all to ourselves. They had a small problem with the water, so it needed to be turned off for 20 mins. It didn't bother us as we were having lunch at the Rollingstone Pub, but we appreciated that they sent out messages to keep guests up to date.
