The breakfast was like everything else at the property, first class and plenty of delicious food/juice/toast and jam. Mike was very friendly and took pictures of us before we went to a wedding very close to the property. We have stayed at many B&Bs over the last 20 years, and this has been one of the best...............Great views/great atmosphere/great food/very comfortable and Mike was more like a family member than a Host. The sunsets were incredible, and we shall DEFINITELY return. Many thanks for a wonderful 2 days. Michael and Rita.

Loved the room and the overall atmosphere of the place very calm in the common area but loved hoe private the rooms felt inside. Loved how central this was to everything being only 5 minutes drive from most things in Mt Tamborine

I did not like that the only thing seperating our private balcony from the main balcony is a half wall with a little vine overgrowing to the glass barrier. You could easily walk onto our balcony if you were determined enough. Thankfully tho there are blonds and a lockable sliding door.

I loved visiting Avocado B&B! It was lovely meeting the hosts, and the house was tastefully decorated but also had that comfy, antique vibe to it. The spa was amazing to soak in, and the beds were super comfy. We had our own balcony overlooking the beautiful bush, where the sunset gave us a beautiful sight. My favourite part was the morning breakfast. It was delicious!

Nothing, really. I may have preferred a self-contained house. That said, I'm trying to do my part of contributing to locals that live in places I stay in instead of staying in Airbnb, that are probably owned by investors. I purposefully chose Avocado B&B because I liked that the owners are local and live in the house, so I was okay with having other guests. It was nice having breaky with them and we even played a game of cards, which was a heap of fun.

Friendly, caring and helpful staff. My room was very comfortable and spotless…….a home away from home, with a balcony looking over the vast hinterland. It was a beautiful restful environment with the sound of the wip birds echoing through the rainforest. The breakfast menu was hearty, catering well for an adventurous day exploring the mountain. The warm hospitality made my stay memorable and I look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

There wasn’t any aspect that I didn’t like.

The location was outstanding, but too cold to enjoy from the lovely balcony unfortunately. The view from the Safari room was amazing and worth the money. The bed was quite comfortable too. The Spa was great and fit the two of us nicely, but the water wasn't quite hot enough. The hosts were quite hospitable.

The water cut out completely in the morning and on a very cold night we couldn't get the spa to a nice temperature. Not complaints, but the survey asked the question. We did find a pair of extremely large underwear on the floor near the door when we were cleaning up to leave. We had to laugh. No real complaints.

The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was super friendly and happy. The bathroom was the perfect size for our overnight needs. The bed was spacious and comfortable. The location was very pretty, and the overall atmosphere was homey and inviting.

The roof had a few small cobwebs. The price felt a little steep for the overall experience. Maybe if it was between $250-$275 that would make the overall experience feel better value for the price. Other then that it was a very pleasant stay.

The pleasant greeting by Bonnie and the superb breakfast by Mike who had only just taken over 2 days before. Essentially, the hospitality. Spacious room, comfortable bed.

It was a bit out of the village of North Tamborine but we had a car and it was only 1 night. But don’t see this as a criticism; it is as it is. Clearly the previous owners had not done a vacate clean nor tidied the gardens.

The warmth and inviting atmosphere as you enter and the oriental suite was so cozy with the fireplace and the forest view from the bathroom. Netflix available and the views were amazing from the common area balcony. The hosts were also so lovely and made a great brekkie! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Tamborine.

Easy to access, beautiful view, the spa was great, and the breakfast was delicious.

A few features need upgrading like the TV (it wouldn’t load) and the aircon in the room (it was loud and sounded like it was struggling to blow constant air). There was also dust behind furniture.

The stay at Avocado Sunset was excellent. Jilly & Mal, our hosts were lovely people whom welcomed us on arrival and served up the best ever breakfast the next morning. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the Safari/African themed room was also well presented. The view across the trees from the private balcony to the mountain ranges was superb. A very well presented place to stay with exceptional views.

There was only one thing that I would request as an improvement. There are more power points required on both sides of the bed for personal devices like sleep apnea machines, charging devices etc., as the current power points are full with bedside lamps, radios etc.
