The location was very quiet and the villa was comfortable. It had almost everything we needed, sitting on the balcony was peaceful and I felt like I was surrounded by nature & calm. There was plenty of hot water in the shower and the aircon warmed the room well. The directions and signage to find the location were very good.

I would have liked better lighting in the kitchen area, it was hard to see properly when cooking and washing up at night as the only light was behind. The lounge was also a bit hard and not super comfy. It was a bit difficult to sleep when it started to rain as the noise on the roof was very loud (We were lucky it didn't rain much).

Stayed 5 nights and had an amazing time. Such a beautiful spot with a stunning view. Wild Wallaby’s everywhere. The room was great with a little kitchen. Super comfy bed. Everything you need. A big shout out to Dan the host who is the nicest person you will ever meet. Helpful and takes care of the place. His bread is delicious! Could not recommend this place more! It was to cold during our stay but the spa looked amazing. It’s close to everything but far out enough you feel like you’re in your own place. Loved it!!!

Honestly I was great I do not have any negatives

We absolutely loved our stay at Wallaby Ridge Retreat! We received a friendly greeting from our host after our very last-minute booking. The villa was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had lovely dips in the saltwater pool, and enjoyed watching the sunset from the spa. There was an adorable wallaby family (including a super cute joey in its mum's pouch) that hopped around the property. We really appreciated that we could have all the doors and windows open in our villa to enjoy the bush view and sounds and keep the room cool, as there were screens to keep the bugs out - we didn't even need to turn on the AC. We took the opportunity to visit the local wineries, and there was a town close by for groceries. Overall, we would highly recommend staying at Wallaby Ridge Retreat!

We stayed in a ‘luxury suite’. It was actually a 1 bedroom apartment with kitchenette (including small fridge and 2 hotplates), dining table and chairs, settee, armchair and coffee table. It’s spacious, with door to verandah and great view to mountains. There is a large community lounge and dining room, with outdoor and undercover barbecue. Breakfast supplies were great. We used it as a base to attend a wedding at Albert River Wines, less than 10 min drive. The winery also does a very enjoyable lunch.

At first glance, the venue is 'beauty of the place. The smell of the mountains and county, the wildlife and serene views. The staff was sxceptically friendly and accommodating, making a lot of little additions to make your stay nice. Was very clean and even provided breakfast supplies. The pool and spa made the experience so beautiful as the area was clean and well taken care of with beautiful views while relaxing. Other guests were very polite and considerate and quiet, making you feel like you were the only one there. The grounds surrounded were very well thought out and cared for. Thank you for a great stay.

That l only booked a short stay. l will definitely be returning.

The location was beautiful, overlooking the valley, allowing for stunning sunsets and sunrises. It's a very peaceful place with wallabies nibbling the grassy field below and some hop up into the garden, close to the rooms. The room was so clean and comfortable with the pleasant surprise of complimentary eggs, bread, butter, milk and fruit juice. We wish we had another day just to enjoy the surrounds of our accommodation.

The shower head was a bit difficult to put on a setting that allowed for good water flow.

The complimentary breakfast was BIG & the choices was enough for 2 days brekky. Eggs, oil, butter & a loaf of bread. A jug of milk, 2 bottle of orange juices & ground coffee. Added was 3 choices of cereal including other teas and instant coffee. This was such a delight to see especially after 12hrs drive. We were exhausted so you can imagine the relief we felt when we saw these provisions. Ohh and the communication with Dan was AWESOME!

Such an amazing location, the wallabies were so close, Zen the manager was fabulously friendly and helpful. Dated decor, but this was part of the charm. Chilling in the hot tub watching the amazing sunsets was the perfect way to end the day.

The out door eating area could do with a good clean through. The BBQ was clean, so ok to use, but the area was full of dust and cobwebs which is a shame as it could be the fantastic area. The rest of the property was spotless.

The property was so serene and peaceful and perfect location to visit cunungra only a 10 minute drive away. Our host Dan was amazing and even had freshly baked homemade bread as part of the breakfast. The room itself was very spacious and the bed large and extremely comfortable. We also got to see the wallabies roaming the grounds.

There was nothing really to moan about. Maybe a hand rail would be helpful on the step down entrance to the property.

Loved the DYI breakfast - ample for the 3 nights we stayed and fresh. Choice of 3 x cereals and eggs, loaf of bread, butter and spreads. Plenty of milk. Location is out of the way and tranquil, whilst only being a short drive to Canungra for supplies. Location is also great for day trips to Binna Burra, O'Reilly's, Mt Tamborine and the Gold Coast. Spacious shower and toilet.

Tried to conserve water, however it was difficult because the hot water took so long to come through. We boiled the jug for the dishes in an effort conserve some water.
