We absolutely loved our stay at Wallaby Ridge Retreat! We received a friendly greeting from our host after our very last-minute booking. The villa was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had lovely dips in the saltwater pool, and enjoyed watching the sunset from the spa. There was an adorable wallaby family (including a super cute joey in its mum's pouch) that hopped around the property. We really appreciated that we could have all the doors and windows open in our villa to enjoy the bush view and sounds and keep the room cool, as there were screens to keep the bugs out - we didn't even need to turn on the AC. We took the opportunity to visit the local wineries, and there was a town close by for groceries. Overall, we would highly recommend staying at Wallaby Ridge Retreat!

At first glance, the venue is 'beauty of the place. The smell of the mountains and county, the wildlife and serene views. The staff was sxceptically friendly and accommodating, making a lot of little additions to make your stay nice. Was very clean and even provided breakfast supplies. The pool and spa made the experience so beautiful as the area was clean and well taken care of with beautiful views while relaxing. Other guests were very polite and considerate and quiet, making you feel like you were the only one there. The grounds surrounded were very well thought out and cared for. Thank you for a great stay.

Such an amazing location, the wallabies were so close, Zen the manager was fabulously friendly and helpful. Dated decor, but this was part of the charm. Chilling in the hot tub watching the amazing sunsets was the perfect way to end the day.

The out door eating area could do with a good clean through. The BBQ was clean, so ok to use, but the area was full of dust and cobwebs which is a shame as it could be the fantastic area. The rest of the property was spotless.

Loved the DYI breakfast - ample for the 3 nights we stayed and fresh. Choice of 3 x cereals and eggs, loaf of bread, butter and spreads. Plenty of milk. Location is out of the way and tranquil, whilst only being a short drive to Canungra for supplies. Location is also great for day trips to Binna Burra, O'Reilly's, Mt Tamborine and the Gold Coast. Spacious shower and toilet.

Tried to conserve water, however it was difficult because the hot water took so long to come through. We boiled the jug for the dishes in an effort conserve some water.

The room was immaculately clean and well presented. Dan was friendly and welcoming. It covers all the basics and its all you really need for a nice getaway. The bed was super comfy. Was pleasantly surprised that there was a smart TV, which was great. Was a quiet and very relaxing time. There was indeed wallabies on the property, so lived up to the name, they were super cute. Overall we had a great time and would come again if we were in the area.

Not much I didn't like to be honest. About a 25 min drive to most things in town, but not too bad.

The room was great, had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. The breakfast foods supplied (eggs, bread, milk, butter, cereals) were a great addition in the mornings. There were lots of wallabies in view through the day, which was really nice to wake up to. The views from the balcony and from the spa were beautiful. The sunset whilst in the spa, spectacular. The kitchen had all the appliances you needed to cook up a nice breakfast and the pool looked great, but we didn't use it during our stay. Very relaxing and quiet, with only the sounds of the birds whilst out on the balcony. We were only there for a couple of nights, but would definitely return again.

Our cabin was very clean, with comfortable bedding and ample linen provided. The view of the sunsets were amazing! So lovely to have the wallabies around too! We really enjoyed sitting on the verandah looking into the bush and watching the activities of the surrounding birds. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Dan the host was lovely, very friendly and helpful!

The surrounding grounds are a little tired looking in some areas. Still a great place, but could do with just a bit of a tidy-up in some of the garden areas.

Location is very quiet and peaceful. We stayed in one of the individual suites which I would recommend. They are a good size for 2 and very modern. Loved the balcony and the privacy. Spa was lovely with a great view however concrete area around the spa could do with a good clean. Lovely private location. Host was very friendly on arrival. I would recommend for a private getaway.

Pool was out of action for maintenance which was a little disappointing but we did enjoy the spa.

The property is a peaceful oasis and very private overlooking the valley and hot air balloon’s in the distance with a gorgeous spa set in the gardens with wallabies Coming up to room for a cheeky visit. Upon arrival we had fresh sourdough bread with carious cereals and condiments and fresh eggs and milk awaiting. Very relaxing and a short drive to amenities. Highly recommend as a place to relax and wind down after a busy day.

it was really peaceful , beautiful view of sunset , pool and hot tub was nice, seeing the wallabies and feeding wild parrots , Dan (manager) was really excellent , very welcoming and a fantastic host, thank you

there was nothing we didn't like but if we went again we would probably book a room in the shared house, we were put off by the description on the web site of a share terrace, but this was not a problem at all as quite well segregated, and the rooms are really nice with the best views
