The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and good water pressure and the room temperature was good.

I noticed a bit of mold and I also noticed in the light fittings little wrigley things that were obviously dead but it was still a little bit disconcerting. Also the picture on the wall above the bed, on the edges I could see mould on them. It would just require a little bit of extra housekeeping to fix these issues. I think they need to replace the drywall in the ceiling because there was a damaged section. I opened the front door and smoke came into my room as there were smoker's outside in the room next door. I think there should be a designated smoking area away from the rooms because it's very unfair. I started to cough because it really does affect me and if there's any visitors that has asthma, they will suffer from that too.

Tall Trees Mountain retreat was very reasonably priced in a beautiful peaceful location. Easy check in by phone with key codes meant it was ok with late check in. Parking on-site. Coffee, tea, biscuits, chocolates and breakfast cereal available in room. King size bed 😊 Beautiful garden with mountain creek, peaceful rainforest feel, wonderful place to start your morning 🥰 Great cafes nearby. Had dinner at Curtis Falls bar and grill which served Indian cuisine at night - so delicious we went back the next night and just a short walk from the motel.

Loved the location and the large room was wonderfully spacious, private and very well set up. The water from the tap is from the spring. Clean nature-fed water straight out of the tap was a big bonus for us. Great to have TV and small kitchen. Heater kept us all warm and in the morning we wandered outside to find the wonderful spring stream running through the garden space. Staff were friendly and kind with our slightly late check out.

TV didn't work with our Google device that would have enabled us to access our movie streaming apps. We were able to plug in a usb drive and access downloaded movies from that.

Very easy (by phone) access to the room. Room was extremely comfortable and priced very good. The owners go over and beyond with little little touches. ie the welcome booklet was very informative, the little chocolate on the pillow, cereal for breakfast & enough milk for cereal and coffee were great touches. There was ample parking, beautiful gardens and sounds. A very quite space to relax after a long drive and listen to and watch nature on the patio.

Absouletly NOTHING to complain about.

Its an old motel thats been done up - a little. We had a large family room for our teenage daughters which had a new modern bathroom (which they didnt even use!) and a lovely modern kitchenette. It also had a couch and fire place and beds for about 5. The girls were very happy. We, the adults, had an old room, clean and newly painted, but tiny; old style bathroom ensuite but good enough. What was a waste of time and space was the tiny fridge that could barely fit more than a bottle of milk. As we were between destinations and carrying food, and it was summer, some of our food ruined just overnight. I suggested to the staff to have a “camp kitchen” type of area with a proper sized fridge with freezer (for chilly bricks) and central table and microwave. Other than that, the location was lovely. But just after the mini tornedo and so all the walking trails were closed which was disappointing. Lovely spot.

Very courteous check in staff member. I was late as I had had a fall before I left home and was running very late, so appreciated the help when I first got there with the door key and getting into the room and checking all was working to expectation.

Was not sure about the Air conditioning did not seem to warm up;, but feel it could have been operator error. I am not the best with those symbols on those remotes. But it was not a major issue I was warm and cosy in bed.

The carpet must have just been cleaned as it was still damp in parts and had a strong smell to it still, that affected my daughter who is in early stage of her pregnancy. Also the single bed was very hard and uncomfortable. On a plus the room was very clean and big which was wonderful for my baby granddaughter as it gave her a lot of room to play without being on top of us.

The room was very neat, comfortable and had everything we required. The staff were friendly helpful and cheerful. The motel is centrally located within all tourist destinations and needs. The location was beautiful, and so peaceful at night you could hear a pin drop. I will definitely re-book with Tall Trees again.

The location of this property is fantastic, right opposite the entry to the Curtis Falls rain forest, walking paths and trails. Perfect hiking start point. There is a cafe, restaurant, lolly shop and icecream Next door to the motel. It is less than 10 minutes drive to Cedar Creek Lodges, adventure park and gallery walk artist shops. The property is very old and a traditional motel, it’s not fancy but it’s also not expensive. It is clean and the staff were welcoming. There is parking right outside your door. The sounds of the birds and wildlife are gorgeous

Set in a beautiful location, friendly staff. Value for money. Parking available. The room is small but comfortable and very clean. A welcome chocolate is a lovely touch. Small but very clean bathroom. Great for a short stay. I am very happy that twin beds were available. Perfect for a one night or weekend stay to explore Mount Tamborine. Cafe, icecream parlour and restaurant within walking distance.
