Great place to stay. Downside is I found a big chunk of someone else’s hair in the bed. The bed itself is amazing. Love that it was a real king size and not two singles squished together like hotels do. Could have used a couple more towels as the two we got were quite thin and didn’t dry for the second night. Beautiful location and the rainforest surrounding was absolutely gorgeous

it was exceptionally comfortable and the furnishings were of high quality. The lady who saw us at reception was so helpful and considerate to my difficulty's for access to the villa.

Nowhere near to get breakfast plus as we are at the top no hand rails on slippery slopes to access our villa.

We enjoyed the cabin and especially the fireplace and the hot tub! Make sure to check that you are able to use the fireplace before booking (if using the fireplace is important to you). Great instructions and suggestions for the area in your cabin. DVD movie selection to watch in your cabin, little bit nostalgic!

1.Accessibility, during our stay it was very dark when we arrived and many outdoor lights were broken. No flashlight in your room. 2.Amenities (coffee,tea etc) for the price you pay per night, C ould be better quality. 3.No housekeeping for 2 nights = ran out of toilet paper, towels don't dry so well when cold and damp weather.

The host Shane made us feel very welcome and was a lovely guy. He took a special interest in making sure we were looked after and had everything we needed, he is truly passionate about his job and made our stay extra special! Thank you Shane 😆! The retreat is beautiful and was everything we wanted and more. it was private, spotlessly clean and the spa bath was very romantic lit with candles. The complimentary bubbly on arrival and the complimentary breakfast was so delicious and just topped such a special weekend for myself and my partner on our one year anniversary. I definitely recommend the Escarpment retreat to all couples, it will stay in our memories forever and we will definitely be back! Looking forward to seeing you again Shane 😌

Nothing , it is the most beautiful property in the best location, Mt Tamborine 😍❤️

Location very private and we were upgraded to the big house which had s fantastic large spa bath and fire place. Bec was super friendly and helpful. Mt Tamborine is a great area to visit.

Not having wi fi is the only thing that would prove difficult if you were there for work.

It is so beautiful and full of character 😍 a truly beautiful location. Not much at all to fault

We arrived quite late in the evening and only for 1 night. The only thing that was annoying was inadequate lighting on the balcony. The lights didn't work out there at all. The bed and pillows were not very comfy either.

My partner and I got a free upgrade to the big house and it was absolutely amazing, the spa bath was to die for. The view was spectacular and both the indoor and outdoor fireplaces were warm and comforting.

There was nothing not to like! Everything was perfect

We stayed 2 nights and made use of the spa treatments which were lovely. There were 2 cafes in walking distance from the property. Room was beautiful and spacious with high ceilings.

The room smelt very musty/mouldy even though it was clearly very clean.

How earthy, calm and quiet it was. If you walk up the path there is a little look out that is super cute. My partner and I loved the retreat.

The mattress on the bed was a little uncomfy but it would not stop me from staying again and staying for longer.

Shane was an exceptional host, very happy to help and assist in any way possible. The food was great and the room although large and with a high ceiling felt extremely cosy. The massage was amazing!

It wasn't until the day that we were leaving that I spotted the large bookshelf in reception full of movies available for viewing. This is an awesome amenity and I just wish someone would have pointed it out sooner.
