The cabins were very sweet & homely and we loved that it was dog friendly!!! but the best bit by far after a long day driving with a spinal injury, was how amazingly comfy the bed was!!! Best nights sleep I’ve had since hitting the road!!! The bickies, chocolate, and Milo were a really thoughtful touch! Lots of thoughtful touches actually, from the bottles of water to a small carton of good milk to use with coffee. It’s the little things that count and this place definitely had ample little thoughtful things that were much appreciated

The cabin was exceptionally spacious, and perfectly catered to for the disabled. In fact, it would be one of the best appointed places for a disabled person. The bathroom is kitted well with a raised toilet, shower chair, three hand rails, an hand shower and great hot water availability. Also the area surrounding the bed is spacious and the mattress supportive. The air condition and ceiling fan is perfect to cool the room down and the kitchen is perfectly well appointed. The camp kitchen is also fabulously kitted out. Tony is a great host, thanks mate.

Friendly staff, cabin clean and had good amenities. Bed comfortable. Pub handy for dinner but you could quite happily cook in the cabin as all amenities were included. I would be happy to stay for more than 1 night at Tiaro Tourist Stopover.

Truck noise was bad early hours but this wouldn't stop me from staying here again as this may have been my error as I had left the windows open and the sliding door open. Also take mozzie spray or a mozzie coil as the mozzies were quite bad sitting on the balcony.

Perfect stopover en route to The Hinterland and Brisbane. A lovely compact stopover in very clean and tidy cabins. Very well stocked with everything you need. We used the outside kitchen too which I was very envious of and very clean and tidy. Go use the butcher around the corner for some great meats. Very clean laundry area and hanging lines by the cabin. We had a great one night stop and highly recommend.

Incredible. We booked the cabin spontaniously as a quick stopover and didn't expect much. But the room was great. It felt super cozy with the colors, deco and fabric. The kitchen is small but had really everything. Haven't had any other accommodation with so much selection (pizza cutter, sharp knives, several colander, lots of towles, many pots) in a very long time and somehow they fit everything into the room. Beds were comfy. Bathroom is big and has a shower chair. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We travelled along the coast for over two weeks and this was the best stay we had and I could def imagine staying longer!

Tony the park owner was very friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean and well presented. We had our 5 month old puppy with us, pets are welcome here, we were offered a dog bed if we didn’t have one. There is an additional camp kitchen which is very well presented, although our room had a small kitchen, overall the accommodation was very clean and neat. A great place for a stop over on our travels

Tony is a lovely guy that helped us out when we were in a jam with our car. He also made sure to check in with us without annoying us. The cabin was lovely, nice and cosy. Great for just the 2 of us. It was a great location/base camp for us.

So convenient. Layout of interior was great. All amenities were more than adequate the small treats. Milk and tea/coffee were plentiful. Bathroom supplies great. Checkin quick. Bed super comfy. Very good bedside lights. Kitchen amenities very good. Very clean.

The freezer needed defrosting but still worked ok.

The room is extremely clean. Although the interior may look a bit old. It is spacious and the outside garden is well maintained. It is quiet and nice. There are Biscoff and chocolate in the fridge. So it is a nice surprise! Love the place. We bring our small dog and there is no extra charge. Really appreciate it.

For a small town, this single room lodging with bathroom has inside and outside seating, privacy, natural lighting with block out options and is always clean. Small comforts of biscuits, cutlery, cookware, and reading material make a relaxed stay.

If you are looking for a sophisticated city apartment you will be disappointed but if you want a clean comfortable room for a travel rest or stop you will be more than satisfied.
