Loved the service. Was greeted by a friendly manager 'Sunny' (by name and nature) and was given all the information we needed. Even how to open the door with the key card (there was a knack to it). The room was clean, spacious, comfortable beds, a little balcony with seating for fresh air. The room had everything we needed - fridge, coffee, tea, milk, biscuits, kettle, toaster, microwave, dishes, cups, glasses, cutlery, toiletries in the bathroom, WiFi was good, cable tv. The icing on the cake was that the historical pub next door (The White Lion) would deliver lunch/dinner to our room. Our stay was wonderful.

We visited Maryborough for FraserPop and this accommodation was perfectly located for us to walk. The room was little but we only needed it for sleep, and the bed in our room was firm and comfy. My chatty toddler made instant friends with the manager at the front desk and having someone friendly and welcoming to greet us and ask about our day was a really lovely part of our trip. We intend to stay here again next year.

The Best Western Kimba Lodge is Maryborough’s best kept secret. It’s supremely comfortable with little touches of luxury like decent sized toiletries including shower caps and sewing kits, Milo and biscuits in the refreshments. There’s even a mini bar. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom is modern and clean with ample fresh towels. You can order room service from the hotel next door and it’s situated very handy to Maryborough CBD but also to the Bruce Highway and the road to Hervey Bay. The staff are friendly, interested in their guests and helpful. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Maryborough.

The room was clean, and bigger than expected. The bed was comfortable and the tea and coffee was always restocked. It was within walking distance of the centre of town and the lovely park for a nice morning walk.

I was downstairs and could here movement from the people staying upstairs. Luckily they weren't making noise all night, so I wasn't kept awake.

Very comfortable and clean room with everything you need for an overnight stay. Also modern furnishings and the bed was beautifully made up.

Probably if I had to be negative it would be the second hand smoke wafting through the sliding balcony door, and the 2 flights of stairs, which I hadn't realised but that was my fault, anyway I asked a staff member man and also staff lady if they could help and were kind enough to carry my suitcase up, and on leaving carry it down.

I stayed at the Kimba Lodge after a trip out in the bush. I was very impressed by the cleanliness, comfort and service of this motel. The room was spacious, well-equipped and had a nice view. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful. The motel also has a pool and a restaurant next door which were great. The location is convenient and I would highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for an over-night quality stay in Barcaldine. It was a great value for money and a pleasant experience. Thank you Kimba Lodge for making my trip easier and more enjoyable!

Easy to find, great location (next door to White Lion Pub) so didn't have to walk very far for dinner. Beds were comfy with decent pillows. Soaps provided were really lovely as well. The management were superhelpful and we were able to park conveniently with our trailer.

We were in the upstairs room, and the only down side was the banister was a bit loose.

A small issue with parking our rental car, none available at times and size of parking spaces wasn’t good, most of the vehicles were large workman’s vehicles and made for tight parking. We didn’t feel comfortable parking in hotel car park next door overnight

Very very comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean, fresh linen on bed. All essentials in room, coffee, tea, hot chocolate,sugar, milk. Even had some snacks and drinks in the fridge to purchase. All bathroom essentials very neatly displayed and available to use.

Aircon did not work. Possibly left control in a muddle when the previous tenants used the room Not a big issue as unit had ceiling a fan.

Lovely room , very clean and very nice staff. Had a lovely hot room service dinner! Accessories in bathroom are a lovely touch!

Whilst I thought it was all really lovely... the price was higher than I have paid in this area before. Usually I pay $150 to $180 for a night. I also found the parking limited and when returning at midnight in the dark...parking next door is a little daunting.
