The apartments have everything you possibly need for a holiday as a couple or family. From the well stocked kitchen to the pool toys for kids you dont need a single thing other than the clothes on your back and binoculars!!! Walk across road to beach, restaurants and cafes are all close, beautiful ocean view from the patio and our unit had a massive outdoor spa on the patio so “rum & wine o’clock” was enjoyed longer. Heated pool and spa downstairs and fantastic bbq area. I hesitated putting this review on as I dont want people to know how fantastic it is because it will become hard to book next time, but I really want to tell you all - if you are after a get away (3.5hrs) from Brisbane this is the place to stay and go and relax and do some whale watching…you will thank me!! Enjoy and please leave some reservation times for me!

That I had to leave!!!

The location was perfect with plenty of eateries within walking distance and being right across the road from the beach was excellent. It was lovely to have my own spa on the balcony although it was cold the first two days until I realised it had been turned off and I figured out how to turn it on to heat it up.

Having to walk up the fire stairs from the basement was a little difficult as I am still recovering from hip replacement surgery earlier in the year. If it hadn't been raining so hard when I arrived, I would have parked on the street to unload the car but I didn't want to get that wet. I realise this was out of the control of the property owners / managers and that they had been doing their best to get this fixed since the flooding back in March. It did take me some time to locate the stairs so perhaps better signage in the basement would be a good idea - I didn't realise I was looking for the "fire escape" and was looking for a sign that said "stairs".

Our 1st trip to Hervey Bay and the Bay Apartments were brilliant. Perfect location straight across the road from the beach. Walk to 2 great pubs with excellent meals and HEAPS of takeaway food places within a few minutes walk, great pool and spa. Huge apartment for the 4 of us. The only place we will stay on our next visit but we loved the town so much we are going to move there permanently!!

Ensuite and kids bathrooms had no exhaust fans or windows so that wasn't ideal. Having to finish a shower with a cold burst was the only way to keep cool after a shower. Small inconvenience in an otherwise perfect location.

2 br and 2 bath Apartment was huge with 2 living areas. Main living area was exceptionally large and led straight out onto the pool area. Apartment decor was modern, clean and had everything we needed for meals at home. Great location, Just a walk over the road to the beach (easy way to catch sunset and sunrise). Great safe beach too for kids. Pool area was clean, had lots of chairs and loungers and very well maintained, we were lucky and had it to ourselves. Hot tub is the perfect temperature and rewarding after a full day exploring K’Gari. Great value for money.

Had a wonderful stay again. Room was so nice and clean The view was the best from our room this time. Not to high or low. Spa on the verandah was nice.. Perfect view of the water and the pool.. Kids and adults loved the heated pool and spa. We All very much enjoyed the tennis court. Was so much fun. So many shops within walking distance.. If you have a big car you will not fit into the secure parking underground. (We have a landcruiser) but there are a couple of spots outside the office which we were lucky to get a spot each night..

Warm welcome at reception on arrival and in fact all staff were very helpful during our stay. The apartment was very large, well equipped with good quality utensils except no potato peeler, only a minor thing. Really enjoyed our stay and will come again.

A few maintenance issues but reported them to reception and they said they would attend to these immediately. Had major problems getting in and out of the spa, only one hand railing and for older people we need two to pull ourselves up to ground level. The spa usage instructions should say press the GREEN button not just press the button as I had been pressing the wrong button for 3 days and couldn't work out why it wasn't working. This is easily fixed.

Very central location , close to the beach and very accessible. The hotel is quiet and we stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment. The rooms were large and very comfortable. Everything we need was provided. All the facilities were in good conditions. It is a home away from home We enjoyed our stay and would have loved to stay longer and definitely will book again in future. The Hervey bay is the gateway to K'gari(Fraser) Island.-UNESCO world heritage area. The hotel management accommodated our special request and we remain grateful.

Some guest smoked in their balcony and the fume got into our accommodation. It was only once and not the fault of hotel management as there are clear notice of no-smoking policy.

Location great, apartment was absolutely massive and well appointed. Well equipped kitchen. Great balcony. Comfy couch. Washer & dryer, with laundry liquid provided. Coffee machine had pods provided. Everything you could reasonably want from this style of accommodation.

Bathroom drains smelt a bit rank. Exhaust fan in bathroom (which was linked to the light) was very loud in the adjoining bedroom. Carpark layout for our allocated park was very tight - probably 80% of the rest of the carpark looked better.

Very nice apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. All cooking facilities provided , good shower and comfortable bed . Location was good also. There are a number of restaurants and bars within walking distance some to the left of the building but more to the right ,, and the beach is across the road. 25-meter swimming pool at the facility which is very clean . We also booked a day tour to frazer Island, and we were collected from the apartment. The apartments have secure underground parking .

There is quite a busy road at the front of the building

The appartment was good size, clean, well thought out with all you need to make a good stay. The bed was lovely and large. We booked the two bedroom appartment as we wanted bigger space however they convert two bedroom to one by looking the bedroom off and you still have same space.

Every thing was fabulous. Unfortunately we were staying at a time when flood had come through and did damage to pool and undercover car park. Will try to come back again to enjoy this beautiful accomodation at better time
