The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help. When we arrived, there had been a mix-up with our reservation, and they juggled some things around to provide us with rooms The following morning, we decided we wanted to stay an additional night, but the pub/ reception wasn't open yet, and we wanted to go out for the day. The lovely guy from housekeeping went to check which rooms were available and already cleaned so we could move our luggage straight in, and if none were available he offered to clean one that was checked out already. Fantastic service. And then just said not to stress I could sort the payment out when we returned later. The food at the pub was fantastic , big portions so if you had some tweens, you could probably share between yourself or two kids. We shared a mixed grill between myself and my husband and it was plenty.

We have stayed at the Lamington before several times when we have been in Maryborough. Once I stayed for 5 nights when my husband was admitted to Maryborough hospital with pneumonia. Unsure about how long he would take to recover. The staff were all very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. We often have dinner in the restaurant when we stay or if we are travelling through. Good food, nice atmosphere.

Nothing really. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The facilities are clean and well maintained.

Very friendly staff. Rooms comfortable for a motel. Very good, quite air conditioning unit. Good tea and coffee facilities, with fridge, toaster, cups / plates / bowls utensils. Bathroom good size and clean linen. Easy to get into with a large car, plenty of parking. The detached Lamington Motel had an excellent pub/restaurant with good priced excellent quality food. Loved that I just walked over from my room. The noise from the pub was negligible. Probably because we were the furthest away, in the detached motel accommodation - which is all brick.

All in all a good stay. Some of the room is getting a bit tired (laminate bench top all marked up, bed ensembles base showing a few rips) so didn't get full marks for facilities but negligible, wouldn't stop me staying here again. Tv wall mounted and very small, also the mounting mechanism means not everyone could see the tv well from their beds (our kids has their own screen so not an issue - we just turned it our way)

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very kind, considerate and helpful. My husband was unwell as he had flu-like symptoms and trouble breathing the night we arrived. Later that night he was admitted to Maryborough Base Hospital with pneumonia. So, I needed to extend our originally booked 2 nights. The man in the Bottle Shop was kind, considerate, and so very helpful extending my original booking. The Restaurant staff were wonderful. In fact, all the staff I encountered are a credit to the Hotel. I have no doubt that we will stay there next time we are in Maryborough. Thank you.

Everything was great, great location right next to a wicked pub, the food at pub was worth it for sure !!

Not soundproof unfortunately. Not that it was the motels fault, but we had a noisy bunch of car enthusiasts at 11pm decided to fill the car park. Didn’t sleep well until they left.

Clean and roomy, undercover parking (& plenty of other parking for larger vehicles for trailers, trucks etc, with security cameras and motion sensor lights). Comfortable bed, friendly staff and really nice meals (that can be delivered to your motel room, next to the hotel). Shower over deep bath, large bathroom.

I was really upset when I lost my wallet. But the male staff member there was so kind that I cried. I want to thank him someday and I want to know his name. He is someone I remember fondly. And, lo and behold, my wallet was delivered to the police. I was happy that you gave me free juice and potato chips.

This place is a real gem.of a find. The room was very clean and had most things one would need. The Bistro next door at the Lamington Pub has an exceptional menu, and food is simply fantastic! An added bonus was the ample under cover parking.

The room could have a small dining table and chairs to enable in room dining.

Good location for an overnight stop, with meals and drinks available on site. The staff member who checked us in was friendly and polite. We were given a room further away from the pub to minimise noise, as we were there on a Friday night.

While the room was clean enought, the comforters had some suspicious stains on them and the carpet looked like it needed to be replaced. Due to the motel's proximity to the pub, the place was quite noisy, with patrons partying into the night. We weren't particularly bothered, but light sleepers might be. The windows did not have fly screens so we had to run the aircon for ventation.

Friendly staff, handy having pub next door where the meals were delicious although HUGE.

No hook on bathroom door would've been handy. No hairdryer! No tissues supplied not a must but nice
