We stayed for 1 night. The house is an older style house that was adequately renovated to meet our needs without complaint. The kitchen had a great sized fridge/freezer & was well equipped. Bedrooms had new ceilings fans with a centre light & remote which we found very handy to control both from the bed. Bedrooms were a great size. Bathroom had a shower. 2 separate toilets -1 upstairs & 1 downstairs, & a separate shower is also downstairs with the laundry. The lounge was super comfy & family friendly in a curved formation so that everyone could comfortably see the TV. TV had Netflix with many good options . The only air conditioner is in the lounge. Very quiet area, close to the local IGA & a short walk to parks & the water. The beds were adequately comfortable for a one night stay. The entire property was well cleaned & not overpowered by masking air/carpet fresheners.

The kitchen table seats 6, but there were only 4 chairs. We used 2 chairs from the patio. The head clearance for the upstairs bathroom & toilet is low. Head height clearance signs are visible above the given doorways. I think it was 179cms. There is no bathtub for bathing children. I found the cost for one night a bit expensive when the property is an older style property that doesn't offer air conditing in every bedroom as well as the living area.

Very quiet, spacious room. Great little kitchenette space. Brilliant staff for check in. Would recommend. Comfy bed. Well lit bathroom. Parking close to front of cabin. Went and had breakfast at a lovely little local bakery.

We caught someone staying at the motel walk up to our verandah and steal a packet of smokes while husband walked in to get his coffee.. They were so brazen. Then just casually said they thought someone left them there. But the door was open and tv on. We got them back. However this could have happened anywhere and is definitely not a reflection of the quality of the motel. It was very clean, staff very professional and accommodating.

The location of the property was great. We came for the night to be able to feed the dolphins in the morning and this property was a 4 minute drive away from there. The room was large and clean. There were plenty of towels. We had access to a cot too on request. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room along with milk in the fridge which was good. We arrived well after check in closed but a key and map was left in a safe place for us!

It was very cold so we had to have the heat on but in the summer this would be a blessing!

The grounds are beautiful. It feels like a small resort when you're walking through to the rooms. The room was lovely and clean, and had a lovely feel to it. Beds were comfy.

The only things I would suggest is that the rooms need tongs, bbq scraper, and some trays for using the BBQ. There were only two small dishes in the cupboard to use to put our cooked food in to take back to the room. Another thing that would make cooking on the BBQ more versatile is to have one half as a flat plate, so foods like eggs and cut-up veggies for example, can be cooked as well. I only say this as the rooms don't have a stove/oven in them.

Location was great. House was quite large. Beds were comfortable. Quiet area and relaxing. Loved having 2 toilets as a family of 5. TV was huge! Air con cooled the whole house. Staff were friendly and amazing!

Fridge doesn’t always close properly, so be sure to give it an extra push to be sure it’s closed. Be aware if you’re tall the roof space for the indoor toilet & bathroom is quite low. There are signs to warn you, but hubby still managed to knock his head once or twice as he forgot.

The room itself is quite surprising as it was not what I was expecting. It had a mini kitchen with toaster, kettle, utrnsils, the beds are neat and tidy, the aircon is cold, there is TV in the room and a 24 hour wifi pass provided. There is a washer and dryer on site but you need $5 per load. It is a 5 minute walk to IGA and other shops. The property is about 4 minute drive from the dolphin feeding which starts at 7am but the feeding does not start til 8am but best to arrive early.

I can hear the neighbours noise and movements as the cabin is within a cluster of 4 I think.

Great little cabins with lots of space in living/ bedroom. Neat kitchen and good sized bathroom. Comfortable bed, hot shower. Room had TV with DVD player. Location was perfect. Directly next door to pub and bottle shop. 800m walk to Snack Shack for great pizzas. 1.5km to dolphin feeding. 600m walk to parkrun. And 600m to local IGA Supermarket. Rainbow Beach is approx 30 min drive. We appreciated the easy, no hassle late check in and early check out. Would stay here again.

Crockery and cutlery just enough for two pax; they definitely don't encourage guests. LOL

Clean comfortable accommodation, air-conditioner can be temp set low enough on fan to be perfect temp for sleep. Bed was comfortable. Fluffy towels. Friendly helpful man at desk with recommendations for dinner. Lightening fast internet, I did a speed test 100mb nearly. As someone who works in IT, I appreciate this a lot. Even if this time was just to watch some netflix on my laptop in bed. Also nice touch letting you borrow electric fry pans to cook if needed.

Nothing - I wish it had a pool, but there is one down the road.

We stay here a couple of times a year and have done for a few years now. It’s such a great place for a stopover. Steve and the team are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are always spotless and have just the right amount of furniture and kitchen bits and pieces. Comfy bed and quiet…we enjoy the birdsong in the morning. Pub next door with good food and an easy walk to the boat harbour for dolphin spotting and stocking up on excellent seafood at Lee Fishing. Local bakeries good for breakfast.

Absolutely nothing.

The hotel staff gave us lots of helpful travel tips for the surrounding area. One of the routes we originally planned was only accessible by 4WD, but thanks to the advice from the hotel staff (sorry, I can’t remember the name!), we avoided what could have been a major issue. They also recommended some great fishing spots nearby. It was an excellent experience — the hotel was very clean and had all the necessary amenities.
