It was relatively cheap, and close enough to the city. The reception staff were polite and helpful. As part of a group from Melbourne, I had arranged to stay in a trundle bed at another motel, but when I arrived they told me that the bed wouldn’t fit in the room, and that I had to pay for a bed even if I slept on the couch! Thankfully I’d booked a room here for part of our group, and they had an extra bed. When I approached reception the next morning to pay for the bed, they said not to worry about it. The service was like night and day with the other Comfort Inn up the road!

It was a little bit dated, but it was still clean.

Good sized unit with all amenities including well equipped kitchen, full sized fridge, laundry & separate dining area. Secured car park at night. Nice undercover swimming pool (although the water was a bit cold). The motel is very convenient with shopping centre a 5 minute walk away and plenty of restaurants near by.

Air con ? What air con? There were air con units on the side of the building but no air con remotes or controls in the units. There seemed to be no air flow coming out of the couple of vents in the unit. A couple of nights slept on couch down stairs as the upstairs bedroom was too hot and stuffy. Road noise - the motel is on the corner of 2 busy roads with an ambulance bay a couple of doors down. Ambulance sirens and road noise 24/7.

The reception staff was friendly - the room was quiet and away from street noise - it had so many people staying there our night, and yet it felt like we were all alone - (we could not hear anyone) - the shower and bathroom was clean and shower and amenities was great. The breakfast pack was great. The bed was great - We really couldn't fault anything. Will definitely will stay again. Thank you.

My family and I had booked a 2 bedroom townhouse rather than a standard room that had the beds and everything else in one like most hotel rooms. After searching and then comparing all of the different hotels and what accommodation /facilities in rooms etc...... I had decided to book a 2 bedroom townhouse through Sombrero Comfort Inn & Suites as it had so much more to offer ie Kitchen, Dining room, Loungeroom, washer and Dryer aswell as 2 seperate bedrooms and surprisingly enough the price was affordable and value for money with so much more to offer in their accommodation than all of the other hotels which had everything all in one room for around the same if not more money. Overall I was quite surprised at how spacious it was upon arrival and the Reception staff were very polite and friendly and at last minute notice of an extra child they were extremely understanding and we were not charged any extra rate. 10/10 rating for a nice, relaxed and extremely affordable accommodation with so many shops only a stone's throw away ......Well done Sombrero Comfort Inn & Suites Prospect and Thankyou for providing such quality accommodation at such an affordable price 🙂

The only thing that I didn't like about our stay here was when I woke up and realised that we had to check out as it was our last day which meant it was the end of some much needed relaxation time for me 😒

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Room was clean and tidy.

A bit noisy but to be expected. A few inconsiderate people who were loud late at night which was frustrating but not the motel's fault. The curtains didn't stop the lights coming through so just put my bags against them and that was fixed.

Big spacious room, bed was very comfortable. Young lady at reception was wonderful, friendly with a great smile. Asked for an upgrade, was no issue at all.

Road noise was a little annoying with a fair amount of sirens. Second night we had young noisy neighbours, found it hard to nod off to sleep

The place was clean , very comfortable beds, staff were lovely, would definitely recommend and stay there again .

The only thing I wasn't fussed about was the tiles on the shower floor , very very slippery. But that's all , and that's being picky.

Great wifi. Comfortable beds, lots of hot water for a shower or bath, love 2 toilets. Close to supermarket and restaurants

The sound of the traffic early in the morning, the faint smell of curry in the lounge room and the smell of cigarettes in the dining room.

Bed was very comfortable. Location excellent for taxi service to locations within Adelaide. Office staff very helpful re a couple of queries we had. Liked the lawn and tree right outside our room.

The only thing, relatively minor, is that our room was not made up for the final night. The reception person noted that this service has been outsourced to an outside company, and she'd speak to them about it it. Otherwise, fine.

The location

That all the beds were upstairs and the main bathroom. That you had to stand in the bathtub to have a shower. The shower curtain didn’t even reach all the way to stop water from the shower getting on the floor and so then that made the bathroom floor very slippery! Also the $200 for security bond is pretty high Would only expect this from a 5 star accomodation Because not like there is a mini bar or anything in the room that people may not pay for!
