Glamping tent was gorgeous. Bed comfortable. Nice clean bed linen, including extra blanket in case you get cold. Towels provided too. Didn't need to use heating or cooling, but was available. Only a small bar fridge , but big fridges in shared camp kitchen to use. Beautiful deck area, with chairs, picnic table and outdoor wood heater. Cute fairy lights too. Good access to local beach, and easy walk to cafe and pub.
No coffee pods provided for coffee machine, and when I asked for some, they had run out. None available at local shop either. Camp kitchen pretty basic, no paper towels for cleaning bbq. No salt and pepper. No knives for cutting up veg etc. No paper towel or hand dryers in toilets.

Excellent glamping experience. We stayed in the Couples Bell Tents and booked 4 for a group of friends travelling together. The beds were comfortable, the tent was spotless as were all the other facilities. The staff were super friendly and all in all it was the best night of our week long trip to Tasmania. We arrived for late check in after the reception closed and the reception staff member came back up to the campsite to open the reception for us so we could buy the firewood pack and recommended the nearby shops and where to go for breakfast . It was very thoughtful and showed the staff go above and beyond to make your stay memorable.

Our first experience of “glamping”, our fancy “tent” was delightful! We had cute hairy neighbours [a couple of curious pademelons] and the tent itself was really well equipped - we had a great time hanging out on the front porch. The bed was comfortable and I had the best sleep of the trip - the electric blanket was stellar! The only downside was we only had one night there - we are looking forward to visiting again!
Not so much “didn’t like” as we wished we’d remembered to pack mozzie coils - we would have hung out on the porch longer!

The bell tents are great! There was so much space inside. There was a heater and heated bed sheets which is great during July. Lovely furniture and plates and cutlery inside the tent. A little coffee machine for the morning. Plenty of cooking equipment in the shared kitchen. Didn't use it but the TV could have passed the time.
Its was quite cold but it was July not the wisest decision to be in a tent. A pair of spiders in the toilets keep you on edge.

This was our first time in a glamping tent and we absolutely loved it. It was so nice to sit under the stars by the fire and watch the wildlife every night rather than watch TV. Great location by the beach too. Every detail was thought of to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the One Bedroom Safari Tent with Ensuite and small outdoor fire. Tent was well equipped for a comfortable stay, including nice touches with the fire, outdoor lighting and air conditioning. Host was super cheerful and helpful.
Throughout out our stay we discovered several things that had been missed between guests e.g. fridge had not been cleaned or wiped out, coffee machine had not been cleaned and was half filled with water. The shower is also in need of a deep clean as it was on the grungy side of things. The mattress was very, very firm.

The glamping tent was great. It has all you can need like heaters, tv, mirror, kitchen items and towels. We went in the middle of winter and it was nice and warm in the tent. The separate communal kitchen is also stocked with all kitchen utensils and appliances you may need. Short walk to a very nice beach and you can hear the waves crash at night. This was the highlight of our trip!

I loved the atmosphere of camping with a touch of luxury. The owner, Matt, was very kind and helpful, and the tent itself was cozy and charming. It was a bit chilly when we visited, but the tent was equipped with electric blankets and air conditioning, which made it perfect!
We missed having a hand towel and bath mat in the bathroom, especially on colder days. The air conditioner could be quieter, and the fairy lights in my tent weren’t working.

The decoration and comfortness were spot on! Clean and easily accessible. We stayed here on a very rainy night, couldn't use the pit fire outside, but everything was great. Close to beautiful beach.
No shop close by! Must take all your groceries if you are booking here. There is a cafe that is probably a few minutes away, not much on the menu, and very expensive. But this review has nothing to do with Scamander sanctuary, the place is amazing

The most tranquil beautiful place. As soon as I opened the tent I went and booked for another night.. they are stunning. The whole sanctuary is perfect in every way, neat & tidy, it has everything you need for a comfortable peaceful stay... including the sound of crashing waves. Matt (the owner) was so helpful, cheerful and accomodating. An absolute 10/10 all round. If you haven't experienced a glam tent then this is the place stay... Highly recommend.. I will definately stay here everytime I'm on the East Coast ❤️
