Our time at the Boathouse Resort Studios and Suites was absolutely wonderful. The staff were all so welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. The room was spotless and had a really cozy, comfortable feel to it. It was the perfect place to relax after a long day. We especially loved the huge variety of channels on the TV, which was perfect for a cozy night in. The spa was also a highlight—it was clean, comfortable, and a great way to unwind. We had a truly fantastic stay and would highly recommend the Boathouse Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

You could hear some movement in the adjoining rooms but not enough to ruin our stay.

This is a great little upmarket motel. The staff are really nice and welcoming. Our room was clean, comfortable and very well equipped and laid out. The spa bath was great and very nice to have. The kitchen was well equipped for a short stay with complementary coffee pods, tea and milk. Nearby are several restaurants and a small supermarket. The only negative is the sound proofing between the bathroom and bedroom. This is down to three moving partitions between the two rooms which are clearly a design feature but don’t close tightly. Hence the sound issue. This was a small matter for us that in no way affected our enjoyment of the stay. Overall, we’ll be back!

Short walking distance to cafes and Blairgowrie beach and pier. Close to bus stop on Frankston to Portsea route. Small solar heated pool is all you need. We had a discounted rate so would likely stay again at that price, despite the negatives below.

Parking spaces at front of rooms are tight, (mostly lrg SUV's parked at time of our visit) but didn't impact us too much because 1 next door room was vacant so had easy access from one side. Full house may be different. Vibrations from laundry/maybe unit upstairs (assuming washer/dryer or both) were heard and felt each morning from about 7am. Just interrupted sleep ins, if they are your thing.

We loved our short stay, I requested an earlier than usual checkin and the team at Boathouse exceeded our expectations on an early arrival thank you! The suites are super spacious, the spa suite was definitely worth what we paid especially being peak time. The staff/reception were super friendly & approachable. We loved the vibe & enjoyed the Pool was exactly what we needed after a long drive. Dinner at Panda was fabulous, staff were all very friendly meals were generally well priced parking perfect and super quiet! We will be returning! Aimee & Dave.

The staff here are absolutely wonderful--super accommodating, personable, flexible, attentive. We rarely stay at the same place twice but we were so impressed we decided to book an immediate follow up. It's nice to know you can trust an experience these days and we found Boathouse Resort Studios to be consistently satisfying especially in the genuine service orientation of the staff. Our room was impeccably clean, the bed was very comfortable, high standard provisions were provided in kitchen and bathroom, and the outdoor pool was a fabulous bonus. Of course the location was the main attraction and we thoroughly enjoyed swimming and strolling along beautiful stretches of beach all day, and then taking a slow foreshore walk towards Rye's Summer Carnival. Highly recommend.

Location was perfect, staff were lovely and the beds were comfortable. We got upgraded on arrival to a full kitchenette which was appreciated. The pool was perfect too!

Noise through the walls and room above was noticed. Milk frother lid on coffee machine hadn't been cleaned for a while and smelt awful so I couldn't use it, even after I cleaned and soaked it. Hair dryer nozzle looked melted so I didn't use it incase it damaged further. Disappointed that Netflix/Disney wasn't included - had to have own log in.

We've stayed here a few times during the summer months and we always return because of how lovely and accommodating staff are, and how reliably comfortable our stays have been. The standard is always great, property is always super clean, and we love that it offers a pool area plus restaurant on one of Mornington Peninsula's most secluded, private and naturally beautiful beach spots. It's a delightful walk along the beach or promenade to the Rye Carnival if you go during season, stopping to swim along the way. The staff always make our stay super !

The location was excellent, central and an easy drive to Sorrento, Portsea, Rye and basically anywhere on the peninsula. The room was one of the best I have stayed for appointments ( small kitchenette, spacious bathroom, king size bed, even a clothes airer, ironing board and iron). There was a 2 seater sofa so we didn't have to sit on the bed to watch TV. It was clean and when we arrived it was quite a cold day but the heater had been turned on in the room so it was nice to walk into a warm room.

The king size bed was comfortable but I have become accustomed to an adjustable bed so lying completely flat gave me a backache. That it a personal thing and does not reflect on the quality of the bed.

I recently stayed at the Boathouse Resort Studios and Suites, and it was a fantastic experience—absolutely 10/10! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. The staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The level of cleanliness was exceptional; everything from the bathroom to the kitchenette was spotless. The bed was the perfect balance of firmness and softness, making it ideal for a restful night. The amenities in the room were well-thought-out, providing everything I needed without feeling cluttered. The location was another huge perk; it was peaceful yet close enough to enjoy local attractions, beaches, and restaurants. It made for a convenient and relaxing getaway, combining both comfort and accessibility.

Room was spacious. Bathroom quite modern and water pressure and heat temperature of water was great. Was awesome having a full sized fridge. Handy that a restaurant was next door. Close proximity to everything, felt quite central where we were at the Boathouse

There was no suitcase rack. I have an issue but I don't like it when there is mouldy sink hole. When you look in the bathroom mirror you can also see mould where the silicone joins the benchtop. Both the kitchen and bathroom needed the drain hole cleaned and the bathroom sink needs some bicarb and vinegar as the water doesnt get away easily. Having said this, I come from a climate where mould is an issue and we do everything to eliminate it.
