We had a great stay. Some great breakfasts (forget the waffles, all others were great), the bed was terrific and it was not noisy.

I assume that if renovations weren’t going on we would have had more dining options. Perhaps we would have spent more time in Flinders if that was the case. We started sneezing because of the dust. Not dust from renovations just plain, ordinary dust from not vacuuming behind bedside tables, bed etc. We even moved the bedside tables so the cleaners would see the dust and clean the carpet. Nothing happened so we had to speak to the reception staff the following day just before we left.

Good size comfortable room. Adequate cooked breakfast.

No flyscreens on openable window. Many flies, mossies and moths came in before I realised the problem and shut the window. Obviously this is a constant issue as there was a large can of insect spray in the cupboard. This took care of the live ones sitting on the walls and ceiling. However, it meant that the a/c had to be run on fan setting all night to try to get some air in the room. A simple fix would be to attach a flyscreen to the window - doh!

Big fluffy towels that actually fit around my body, very comfy beds, central location and good sized bathroom, hotel was quiet even though it seemed to be fairly busy. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

I'd included a request for 2 single beds in my booking but on arrival had to ask them to change the bed from a king to the two singles. The staff did this for us immediately and we were grateful for that. The only thing that would have improved our stay is if the beds had already been made that way.

The rooms are beautiful, spacious, very clean and comfortable. The Quarters building is separate to the hotel which is nice and the rooms also have an outside area/balcony. Staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is located in a quieter area of the Mornington Peninsula but still close enough to all the attractions.

While the rate includes breakfast it should be noted that it is muesli and fruit served in the room.

Lots of space and the absence of catering and bars which were separated "annex" style in close proximity. Brilliant design planning for mature guests. Does one thing stand out (for seasoned travellers like us)? YES.....room equipment included a torch for twilight strolls etc. Exceptional.

We liked everything here, the hotel renovated and designed very nicely, bed was comfy and facilities were very good, bars, restaurants and cafe so close with very friendly and lovely staff, so caring people.

The only issue here was a weird smell in one toilet that might have been due to the bleach or sewer problem underneath, it went away after two days but was a bit unpleasant

Nov 2023 We picked the Flinders Hotel based on its proximity to the Pt. Leo Estate and Trip Advisor reviews. We were not disappointed! The room was lovely and the staff was accommodating and friendly. Breakfasts were delicious and well prepared. We even had dinner at the Deck. Nice menu options, lovely staff and a very enjoyable meal! 5• 50

The staff both in the hotel and restaurants are most helpful and happy people . We would rate them all very highly The food in all areas was excellent, well presented and good quality. The standard of the "disabled facility "in the bathroom is not correct and needs changing to comply. All in all a happy stay

Location was good with a short stroll to shops and beach. Location was quiet and room was clean and modern. Restaurant next door made a easy walk to and from. Bed was comfortable and bathroom very modern. Breakfast included was good but not much choice.

The air conditioning in the hall was very cold and immediately outside my door. Only one external banana lounge to relax on not appropriate for 2 people

Bed was very comfortable as was the room which was quiet.

I didn't really see the need to select a time for breakfast as I felt pressured to accommodate their needs rather than my own.
