What a beautiful Guest House, so comfortable and clean. The view from our room was amazing and we enjoyed sitting on our balcony having a few wines. The host Bernie was amazing, so friendly and helpful. We were also amazed at the complimentary breakfast that we enjoyed from a very large common area with a beautiful view. The best part was being so close to the Penguins and some stunning views of Bass Strait. We will be back and next time will stay a few nights.

Bernadette was such an amazing host! Delightful, helpful, engaging, knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and genuine. She definitely goes above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Travelling with family so utilised the downstairs room with 2 single beds. The room was clean and spacious. The spa was fantastic! I don't often get a chance to soak in a bath, so this was a fabulous treat. There was a small bar fridge and had 2 complimentary bottles of water in it, which was exactly what was needed after our long, hot drive. The property oversees the beautiful surrounding landscape and we were greeted on one occasion by Wallabies. Will be staying there again when I next visit Phillip Island and would happily recommend to anyone.

Internet in my room didn't really work, however was great upstairs, in the dining, lounge and reception area. All the positive outweighs this so it definitely would not put me off staying there.

Bernie was a lovely host. She shared a lot of helpful information about the area, such as dinner options and where to visit the following day. We had a great time on the island thanks to Bernie. The room was spacious and clean, and equipped with a powerful air conditioner and a huge bathtub. We had a comfortable night even though it was a cold day as November. The hotel was just 2 mins away from the Penguin Parade but also close enough to the town of Cowe.

Excellent location, beautiful view from the room & quiet. Very good continental breakfast.

We arrived early at 1.30pm after a long drive from Bendigo, the gate was closed. We knew the check in time was 3pm but we thought perhaps we can sit in the lounge until 3pm. We phoned the owner Bernadette who informed us firmly that the check in time was strictly at 3pm & not before. This was quite disappointing as our experience in similar circumstances is that you are welcome to wait till your room is ready or at least on the premises.

We loved sitting on the balcony of our room and watching the wallabies whilst enjoying the cool ocean breeze. The continental breakfast was sufficient, but it would've been nice to have some hot options ( bacon, eggs, pancakes )

The room was neat and clean but we could hear everything going on next door and in the room below us!!

We arrived late afternoon and received a warm welcome from Bernadette, the hostess, who answered all our questions about the accommodation and the island. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and spacious with an updated bathroom and a very relaxing deck. The guest house was at a perfect location as it was less than one kilometer to our evening Penguin Parade booking. We enjoyed the continental breakfast which included freshly perked coffee, bread, warm croissants, sliced cheese and meat, and fresh fruit. We highly recommend Swan Lake Guest House for anyone seeking lodging on the island.

Location very peaceful. Very nice accommodation and comfortable with a decent breakfast. Less than 2mins from the penguin parade but essential to book in advance as full.

Nothing - very minor observation would have been nice to have decafe coffee and tea available in main lounge area

Everything was wonderful, the place, the house, the room, the breakfast, and especially Benedette, who was so charming. You feel when a place is built with love and that place is actually done. Thanks for sharing such a nice place! My expectations were high but it was better than imagined!

The host, Bernadette, was very welcoming and attentive and took an interest in her guests . The dining area is spacious and the breakfast more than ample . The rooms and guest areas are new and clean . The bathroom and bedroom is also spacious .

It was above and beyond our expectations. We were extremely impressed with the levels of communication and how personal our stay was with our host. A small laugh and smile went a long way with us. It was our first time to Phillip Island and our host didn’t waste a moment with showing us everything we needed to see on our map. Faultless information was provided without any prompting. It was quiet, clean and had everything you needed for a mini getaway. Our little continental breakfast was the cherry on top of our stay. Overall so relaxing and would definitely like to stay here and visit again - 11/10 from Brooke and Alyssa.
