Someone came to give us keys and they welcome us with smile , also told us what we can see around here, ha gave us map and chocolates was in the kitchen. I mean just this thing person expect a good hospitality, we stayed alot places like in apartments usually they msg us about the key place , but like here hilltop kind of best service I haven’t seen in Australia atleast. Moreover, apartment is very beautiful, everything was available in there like in kitchen- milk, some spice to cook, oil , and little bbq outside in balcony. They decorated to apartment in proper way, also I like the mattress and quilt which was so soft stuff, I stayed one time in city in 5 star hotel but the comfort of mattress and quilt was not good. So, overall best place to stay, if we go to again philp island we will 100% stay here again.

The Hilltop apartments were fantastic. We had the garden room that was essentially a stand alone apartment with parking, and I can’t recommend this enough. It was huge, with kitchen and dining area, a living room, bedroom (with a huge bed) and bathroom with shower and spa/bath. Everywhere was exceptionally clean, and the kitchen had everything you needed. The place is only 10-15 mins drive from the Penguin Parade and only 10 mins drive to Cowes with a number of coffee shops and restaurants. We were sad only to be there one night.

A well appointed and comfortable apartment. The water feature in the communal garden was relaxing. It was great to relax in comfortable chairs on the balcony after a long drive. It is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We appreciated the chocolate! The owner was very accommodating at our check in and with messaging. It is well placed to visit Nobbies and the Penguins parade; we would recommend the small group ranger led evening experience. It was very peaceful during our visit. We only stayed one night so we didn’t get to use many of the facilities but I enjoyed flicking through the magazines and could see a shelf with a selection of books. There are sun screams and blinds depending on your preference for light. We would recommend and stay again. Key drop box makes check out simple. WiFi was strong. We would have used the gas bbq if we weren’t at the ranger tour. Tank you

We recently stayed at a fantastic hotel that exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with modern amenities, providing the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. We loved the view from our living room. The hotel's location was ideal, conveniently situated near local attractions, but still peaceful and relaxing. Overall, it was an incredible experience, and we can't wait to visit again!

This was a last-minute find as we planned to go to the Penguin Parade. Location was great, out of town but a short drive to the penguins and town of Cowes. We stayed in the standalone cottage which was lovely and comfortable, nicely decorated and the kitchen had everything needed for light meal prep. The location is near an intersection but the cottage is set back and very quiet. We were delighted with our stay... we hope to be back to stay longer!

Great view especially around sunset/sunrise. Felt very homely as well. Facilities felt well thoughout with great design. Wifi was surpisingly good. Personally wished we’d stayed longer there had it not been for our itinerary.

To be picky, the entrance/driveway has some small dips that may be difficult for low/sport cars. Another would be that its about 10mins driving from the city centre so there arent any shops within good walking distance - which wasnt a problem for us as we were driving

The check-in process was simple. It was a stunning property. The room was very spacious and had a comfortable bed. It felt homely, with some nice touches of Christmas decorations. I could stay here for a very long time.

It was noisy in the morning with plenty of cars driving by. I would request a room with the bedroom not facing the main road in future. Apart from this there was nothing else to not like.

We visited in June, Winter. The location is great. My friend thought it was the best unit we had stayed in on our 6 day roadtrip (City, Warrandyte, Olinda) The apartment is extremely large and spacious. Its well maintained and is new and well built. It had a 100+ degree panoramic window view of the area; very impressive. The toilet and bedroom also has large window views as well. The ceilings were very high. The furniture was luxury new. The furnishings were well chosen. There was a large inviting jacuzzi bath; unfortunately my friend was ill and we didn't use it. The kitchen is modern large and spacious. The garden is beautifully maintained and had a large number of lavender shrubs in full flower. We had a nice veranda where we could sit and have breakfast. The building was well built, modern, luxury design. Netflix, free wifi, reasonably priced, we could easily stay here for a week comfortably. Our apartment overlooked a huge field grassland estate. At night, if it is clear you can see the Aurora; it rained during our stay sadly. There is a very large Coles supermarket about 8km away which is well stocked. The Penguin Parade and the Nobbies Centre is an easy 15 minute drive away - both are impressive architecture glass buildings; the Nobbies Ocean Discovery Center has superb spectacular views.

The staircase was long and steep - not a problem for us. But worth bearing in mind if you can't climb stairs. You can however book the units that are ground floor. Would be nice to have more pots to cook in. A washing machine and a clothes rack would be useful.

The yard is beautiful with a small stream and beautiful flowers. The residence is on the second floor with a very spacious living room and a balcony with a great view. The balcony is flanked by very scenic meadows and you can see cows and sheep walking in the distance. The landlord was very nice, I was planning to go to see the penguins but it was on a weekend and I couldn't get a cab, so I planned to walk. The landlord was going to drive me after seeing it on the road, thank you very much. You should definitely rent or drive a car when you come here for vacation. I forgot my driver's license and had to take a taxi, but due to the remoteness of the area, there is no Uber operating here, so I had to call or book a cab from a local company, which is not very convenient, and I waited for an hour to get a cab to go to see the penguins on Sunday due to the lack of available driver.

This is my first time traveling to Australia and I'm not sure if it's common in Australia, but basically all the hotels I went to this time didn't have very good air conditioning for heating, and I still didn't feel hot even when I turned it up to 28 degrees Celsius. I can't figure it out.
