Really clean well maintained rooms. Our room was a great size with a big spa bath in the corner which we loved. The motel supplied tea, milk and biscuits and chocolate in the room which was a pleasant surprise. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Check in was easy and interaction with the staff was minimal after that. Very close to the center of Cowes and an easy and very pleasant walk to the jetty and all the shops and restaurants. A good place to stay.

There was a fair bit of noise from the room next door, a family with young kids who were early risers. Otherwise no complaints.

Close to town centre and Cowes jetty so it was convenient to walk to supermarkets and local restaurants, rather than taking the car and having to find parking. The hosts and property managers, Pauline and Matthew, were kind and welcoming, There were two bottles of water, and a small bar of chocolate on the dressing table on arrival, under the welcome pack which listed establishment rules, local amenities and good tourist activities and places to visit. On site parking. Saying hello to Pauline and Matthew every day on our four day stay was a pleasure. If we needed extra tea bags, tissues, toilet paper or towels, or recommendations for day trips on Phillip Island, Pauline and Matthew were always easy to find. It was a joy to see rainbow lorikeets flock around Pauline in the late afternoon and jump on her feet and shoulders, as she fed them seeds. Just proves even the local wildlife knows they are great people! 😉 Our room with spa bath was spotlessly clean on arrival, with lovely white linen, a comfortable couch, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric blanket, crockery and dining table for two, good sized wardrobe and extra pillows...even fly spray! It was like home away from home. The cost of the accommodation was excellent value. While it is not 5 star or ultra modern, clean and well maintained premises like this one are superb! It was our second visit, and felt as great staying there again as it did the first time. We look forward to another future stay.

There was nothing we disliked.

Great location - right on the edge of the main part of Cowes town. Comfortable access - very easy to drive in and out of, and park. Very clean - both the external grounds and the motel suite, bathroom, etc. Nice staff. Chatty, helpful and accomodating. Wonderful lady at the front desk. Comfortable bed. Handy having a touch on lamp next to it also. Comfy pillows, too. The little shelf for your suitcase was super handy - made opening your luggage a lot easier and more comfortable. My suite was super clean all over, including bathroom - I don't think I've ever stayed at such a clean motel! Good value for money overall. I felt very comfortable during my stay. I had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

Outdated furniture - the standard 80s lino counter tops set up, with abstract print sofa and chairs (although it was all clean and matching). Cheap looking toiletries - the generic lotion, tiny soap etc you get at every Aussie motel. Slightly musty smell. Poor water pressure from shower head and also couldn't get the water to heat as much as I'd have liked. I really don't like a top sheet. Once I took off the sheets, the bottom sheet was a bit dirty. No wash cloth provided to wash dishes with (although there was dish liquid and a tea towel).

got room no. 1 that has a jacuzzi. big room with sofa that has also a separate shower (big bonus). the jacuzzi sealing seems new (renovated not long ago?) and so the jacuzzi itself. beds were soft to medium mattress, we prefer harder but it was ok. no cooking, but the room has a toaster-micro-kettle and some plates etc. facing the internal garden on a quiet street. Coles-Woolworths-Iga 100 meters from each other... just choose.

no negative critics - this is very common to most motels here. no restaurants near by, you have to take the car to the city - 5 min. drive throuth the main road or 1.5 km walking. no vending machines at the property nor snacks. that's why i gave a medium star to the facilities... overall - i rate it as a steady 8.5 out of 10.

When I arrived I was greeted by very friendly staff. Checking in was quick and easy. I had my 8yr old and 16mth old with me. We stayed the night to see the Penguine Parade. Our room was very clean. We had extra pillows and a blanket in the cupboard - but our room stayed nice and warm with the heating. The bed was comfortable and the 3 of us enjoyed our stay. If we're ever in Phillip Island again, I'd love to stay here a second time. We were close to everything we needed. Including the RSL next door for a yummy dinner. I highly recommend.

I thought everything was great! Maybe a couple more channels on the tv would have been nice to flick through before going to sleep - but no big deal :)

Walking distance away from the town centre. Quiet and relaxing environment. A lot of value for all the included equipment and services. Painless check-in and check-out process.

TV is on the smaller side but still clear and viewable, all the free channels included. One of the desk lamps didn't work but didn't need it. The biggest concern personally is that the walls seem to be on the thin side, so organise your trip carefully, you might end up with a noisy neighbour that starts their day at 6 in the morning.

Friendly staff, with easy check in. Convenient/close location to town centre. Easy short walk to town centre down main street. Nice to see individual room car window washing squeegee and buckets. Thoughtful touches with free bottled water and chocolates in room. Large outside picnic area. Ample off street packing (with trailer) with little to no road noise. Would stay there again.

The rooms were very clean, which is very important when traveling with young kids. Great location! There are grocery stores nearby which is very convenient. Very close to the Wild Life park and the penguins. We wanted to find a place close to the penguins, since we did not want to drive too far after the seeing the penguin parade at night. I think for next time, we will stay longer and spend more time on the island.

This is a great option if you are looking for an affordable place to stay on Phillip Island. It's not fancy, but it's conveniently located, the proprietors are super nice, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. It definitely has an older feel to it, given the decor, but everything was in good condition and clean. We really liked it and would absolutely stay there again.

Honestly, for the price and the location, nothing.

Location was perfect - right near the heart of town and a block from the RSL. The staff were very helpful and friendly with suggestions for things to do. The room had all the basics you need, bathroom was large with lots of bench space.

Room was simple with the basics you expect. TV didn't work however we didn't discover that until the morning we checked out so didn't bother the host with it.
