Nothing at all

We loved the location and views of Silverwater Resort. It had a lovely layout. Very family friendly if you have children. Play area was great. The three bedroom apartment was spacious and the resort was so accommodating and lovely when we requested a ground floor as my father is in a wheelchair. Staff were super friendly and the restaurant food and room service was exceptional.

There were no fly screens on any windows or sliding doors so every time we opened for fresh air, we just copped bugs and mosquitos. The main bathroom and toilet in the three bedroom apartment was way too small for 4 people. Shower door hit the vanity and water just went everywhere, especially with the toilet in the same area. Noise from the apartment upstairs was not good at all. You can hear everything and we couldn’t sleep our first night until around 3am. However our stay was still enjoyable.

Lovely clean accommodation, and perfectly located for access to Philip island. We could see kangaroos from our apartment in the morning. We had the park outside our back doors so the kids could run and play as soon as they were up. We had tea/coffee and hot choc in the room that went down well. Really enjoyed our stay and would love to go back one day.

We arrived late on arrival day (9pm) and the restaurant was shut. After traveling all day from England just wanted to eat and go to bed. But had to leave site for food. The reception staff were excellent and did ring and book us a table at a local restaurant.

Great location, very easy check in process. Apartment was lovely and clean with ample extras (teabags, towels, washing up liquid, cutlery etc,). Pool, steam room, communal areas were clean and easy to find/use even though it was a very busy weekend.

Would have liked another key. (I didn't ask for one so not sure if readily given but wasn't automatically supplied) If you are easily bothered by noise it can be quite loud if you are on the ground floor with people above you.

The room had a lovely view and was sufficient for our needs, no complaints about the room

The restaurant is tired and in need of a good clean, we ate in the enclosed outdoor area, there was a lot of bird droppings on the windows and the window sills were grotty with dust and dead insects - it needs a good clean. What I found most shocking however was charging over $30 for an entree of frozen dumplings - I (foolishly) assumed for the price they'd be hand made on premises and pretty special but they were literally a selection of frozen dumplings one could get at the local supermarket for around $10 - absolutely shocking to be honest and it left a really poor impression.

The location, the full facility kitchen, the tidiness, swimming pools.. and we had a nice view of the water. Despite some minor issues, we will still go back to the same place another time and the good things far outweighs the small niggles that we experienced.

Laundry was dual washer/dryer but the dryer was ineffective. Wish there were separate washing machine and dryer. AC I felt was quite slow and for hours I didn't feel it was working.

Great facilities including pools (indoor and outdoor), games room (additional cost per game), small gym. Each room had an allocated car space which was convenient. Staff were extremely welcoming including making accommodations for lactose free milk at breakfast. For families I can imagine this is a very fun and comfortable stay, with sports equipment hire, jumping pillow and lots of grass for games and picnics.

The blinds in the room were not very effective at blocking out light, our room door was hard to securely close, the toilet didn’t flush effectively. The breakfast was $25 which is reasonable but not very extensive and you certainly felt the time pressure on a busy weekend morning.

Loved the new apartment room we secured right next to our resort room (no.13 next to no.14 resort room). This was excellent and being next to each other. Staff were willing to accommodate this request for very reasonable pricing. Sam at the restaurant is so lovely, we always like to catch up with him when we visit, Sam is just amazing and lovely.

The resort rooms were small but this is my fault completely for booking so late; they are better suited to business travellers than families.

Our meals were delicious and staff went above and beyond to cater to gluten free requests. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and customer service was exceptional. We loved the picturesque view from our spacious apartment and general cleanliness. Our beds and pillows were super comfy ! It was quiet and serene. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pool.

It would have been good to have selected option of not being next to smokers room. We would have preferred not to have smell of smoke when we went out on balcony.

Clean, no odours, really good value, lots of facilities. Jumping pillow was really popular, swimming pool and air hockey were highlights. Had a meal at the restaurant and couldn’t fault it. Comfortable, had what we needed for a long weekend stay.

Nothing major - just note there are no lifts (access is stairs only.) doors were very heavy to open. Couldn’t connect to tv to cast from devices. Washing machine has a loud knocking noise when it is spinning - too loud to use.
