The reception was friendly. The location is easy to find, wasn't super busy and parking was effortless. It was quiet and we were not at all disturbed by any external noise. The room was clean. The facilities were sufficient. The price was quite reasonable and if in the area I would stay there again. The fuel station and Subway across the road is handy, as well as Aldi.

The bed was a little soft, I prefer a bit more firmness, but that's subjective and soft beds are the norm for such accommodation so it's not so much a criticism as it is a point I want to highlight. There was a small yellow spot on the edge of the spa tub in the room we had, right beside the toilet, which I suspected was a drop of overspray but upon trying to remove it, it was just a stain but I initially found it a little disconcerting given its proximity to the toilet. Again, not so much a criticism as I believe everything was cleaned, but just a point worth noting.

Great location, clean, comfortable, warm heater for cold night, well setup with king-size bed, microwave, couch and extra blanket. Easy option for a couple for a night or two, especially if you are self catering. You either need to request cutlery and dishes or be prepared as we are with our own for motels. Was able to sleep well and that was an extra bonus for me! Parking right outside door. Good curtains to blockout light.

Spa bath with shower is kind of old school and not easy to climb over. Would be more functional to remove spa bath and add in freestanding shower.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable older style motel.. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend if looking for accommodation in Wonthaggi or as a great base to explore nearby towns as we did. The super king-size bed was a dream, as was the linen. It was homely and well presented, clearly well taken care of by the owners. The internal brick work is just gorgeous. Aldi is directly across the road with woolworths, a short walking distance, and places to eat. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Parking wasn't in front of the room for the family room. Parking 12 could have been for 14. Especially as it is a family room and small kids could be 'herded' into the room much quicker and no worries with other cars.

Shower in the Spa was awkward for my friend to lift her legs. Maybe our fault for asking for two bedroom but had a male family friend, hence the request for two bedroom.

Stay staff were friendly and helpful room was a little dated, but it was clean and welcoming the heating was great and will definatly come back in the future

The room was roomy and the bed clean and comfortable. Bathroom clean and easy to access. Facilities/amenities clean and easy to access and a nice touch with the Oreo’s. TV and aircon worked. Parking is well arranged. Location is good. It world of motel unknowns this gets a tick. Thanks, guest Tom

Big rooms (family suite), comfy beds, friendly staff, central location in Wonthaggi.

We understand spiders might happen a bit anywhere in Australia, but we found 3 spiders in the apartment shortly after we checked in (one was particularly big and it gave quite a fright to my son as it crawled down the wall when he was having a shower). There were a few small cobwebs around the ceiling and dust on the corners of the rooms (carpeted). We reported these issues to staff who were diligent in spraying/vacuuming the apartment. We found no more spiders during our stay. Wi-fi was a bit slow.

Stayed here many times the location to the shops and pubs and clubs had a king room nice big and comfortable bed never got to try out the spa the staff are friendly

Wonthaggi is a lovely historic town. It‘s very convenient to access to the beachs, just about 10 minutes driving. I’d love the safety atmosphere around the town, included the place I have stayed. A warm welcome from Mr Kindness Receiptionist (sorry, I don’t remember your name), a neat and tidy room, a quiet safety surround, that’s all I need for 3 days vacation. Will stay longer next visit!

About the motel, I’ve gave 9 out of 10, one point minus due to the colour of towels. It was the first time I had used grey towels from the hotel room and not a fan. One thing I should bring out about the town is that although there are some options of foods and drinks nearby but it seems most business closes so early. I had no choice beside Thai food, McDonalds or KFC. Those were under standard acceptable food.

Communication was excellent. We were arriving late and the keys were in a safe. Speaking to the cleaning staff in the morning was very pleasant. Bed great Room facilities great. Cleanness could not be faulted. The room was big enough to swing 2 cats. Location in the centre of town great
