clean, comfy for an older style place, heating worked fine, dining table for takeaway and work admin, tv with streaming, close to shops and cafes

I'm not sure why such a lovely place would put little tables and chairs and big industrial steel ashtrays right of front the rooms when the doors are so close together. I had tradies loudly drinking knockoff beers, talking and swearing, and smoking half a pack of ciggies essentially right outside my window. Didn't realise the window was open a crack and it made the room stink for a few hours. There's ample seating elsewhere, so why encourage it right outside the rooms, disrupting other peoples enjoyment.

The room is large, clean and comfortable. There have been updates to the lighting, air conditioning and electrics. The bathroom is nice. We were supplied with all of the tea, coffee and toiletries we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a view of Western Port Bay from the window. We would happily stay here again.

The Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times and the iPad had trouble connecting to it reliably. We had no trouble using it with our Samsung phones. There was some faint traffic noise, but it didn't bother us. Otherwise, it was nice and quiet. Everything else was great.

Rooms were standard motel rooms with the usual dated furniture but the beds were comfy and clean with additional pillows and towels available. Bathroom was clean and shower good. Good access to power points for chargers/personal items. Great to have mugs for tea/coffee instead of the usual tiny teacups. Corkscrew/bottle opener was awesome to have. The fridge freezer in the room was a great size - better than most motels however there was no ice tray to make ice cubes. I asked at reception and was provided with a bag of ice from the managers fridge which I kept in the freezer. A few dollars for an ice try would be awesome. The grounds are well maintained and the artworks on the walls outside are very cute

The walls are a little thin in that we could hear most of what was going on next door but one who had fairly loud, young, crying children. The plumbing in the bathroom was a little dodgy - the water took forever to drain from the sink and the shower tray so almost had a bath as well as a shower!

Seamless check in - loved that it was on the outskirts of San Remo which meant it was a quick walk in, but given it was a busy time of year, we were not stuck in miles of queues of cars in order to get to the room! Room was dated, but very clean - you can tell the staff take pride in the way the rooms are presented. Right up to the tables and chairs out the front of each room, perfectly lined up! AirCon was welcomed on such a hot day, shower had good pressure. Microwave came in handy and a decent sized bar fridge.

You can hear your neighbours through the walls easily - not great when a baby is crying non stop at 5am :-(

They clean my room every day. Fresh towels too! More coffee /milk biscuits top up. BBQ and cooking tools provided for a cook up! Yummy! Big Tv important as my eyes not great! Electric blanket great for cold July nights. Easy 10-12 min walk to all the shops! Even a sofa to sit on!

Fridge wasn’t turned on at wall when I arrived put my food in there not realising it wasn’t turn on. So had to chuck most of it as was 18 hours before I realised it wasn’t turn on.

Room was super clean and tidy, WIFI worked well, microwave and kettle worked great, shower was good, beds were pretty comfy, price was competitive with others in the area. We arrived pretty late and they arranged for us to be let into our room after hours. Good little place to stay for the night, would use again when I visit Philip Island area.

Nothing really. I would have preferred to have arrived earlier so I could stay longer!

Nice, relatively quiet (rooms not directly on the road), PLENTY of towels, electric blankets, good lighting. Microwave. Clean, simple, practical. Spa salts provided. Separate spa and shower booth. Excellent location: very close to but not on Phillip Island, thus also cheaper than accommodation on the island itself. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Easy & friendly checkin. Bar snack selection available in the room (small extra cost).

No coffee machine (only powdered coffee), small kitchenette corner (no separate sink). Roof was noisy in the wind at night.

It was basic. We came for a music festival on Churchill island. This was perfect for us 3 girls in our 50’s. It was very quiet considering it was on the main rd. Staff were lovely. We stay again.

I love a pen, pad, shampoo & conditioner etc. you can take home. Lil memo. Split 3 ways at $65 a head.. we have stayed in St.Kilda & that was the price for the night!! So something for the owners to consider.

The beds were cosy and we had everything we needed. Everything was clean and Phillip island just 3 minutes drive away! We were local to lots of food places.

The free wifi did not work at all and therefore we couldn’t watch anything or enjoy music during downtime. This made things hard as my children take a nap and we spent two hours not doing anything each day. We didn’t come with extra activities to do because we planned a movie during nap times each day. There were not other books or games supplied for us to do either.

Exceptionally clean room with crisp clean sheets and plenty of towels, face washers and hand towels. Cutlery and crockery provided with a microwave and a good size fridge with a separate freezer. Smart tv with remote control and a remote controlled air conditioner/ heater.

I would have loved a pen and a pad of paper to write on.
