Apartment was great! Comfy beds, huge lounge area, great water pressure and all staff were happy and helpful.

We are family of 3. Perfect location in Cowes. Walking distancen to all restaurants and supermarkets and to the Cowes beach. Owner a very friendly person told us there's a skate-park in 1 minute walk which the kids went everyday. The room is super clean. The beds are like new. The bathroom is like new and with a smart mirror. Bathroom was very clean, it was perfectly clean. The TV has Youtube and Netflix. Parking just in front of the room with easy access to load and unload. It's like the Car is few feet away. Very easy. The garden is super clean. Kids play area and large grass area. We went in Winter, so couldnt use the pool. But a large pool is there. The best stay so far.

Exceptional. Perhaps the best motel I've ever stayed at. Warm, friendly welcome and the cleanest rooms - like seriously clean. Lots of coffee and tea (and biscuits), milk in the fridge, microwave, kettle, glassware and cutlery, comfortable beds. Great pool and place for kids to play including trampoline. Quiet area and only a short walk to the beach and shops. We had some nights in a large apartment before and 9 year old son said he wished we had stayed here the whole time. I'd agree. I don't normally do reviews but this deserves one. Thank you!

After a long day on the road, finding the right place to unwind is crucial, and this motel exceeded all our expectations. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a warm atmosphere that radiated positivity. The staff was friendly and eager to help, making us feel right at home. The amenities were exactly what we needed: clean rooms, comfortable beds, and all the essentials for a relaxing night. One standout feature was the playground area, which my kid absolutely loved. It provided the perfect opportunity for them to burn off some energy after being cooped up in the car for hours. Another highlight was the motel’s proximity to the main market. Just a short walk away, we found plenty of dining and eateries, making it convenient to grab a meal or pick pantry items from coles and wollies for our journey.

Friendly staff, room was exceptionally clean, staff always keeping my room clean, with fresh towels and emptied bins. Bed made every morning. Happy and keen to do their important job every day! A great team, the owners should be proud of them all. I had a great week of rest and relax, spending my time as i chose too! Thank you to all.

No kitchen to be able to prepare lunch, dinner etc. Its expensive to eat out. Fridge not big enough.

Excellent sleep - bed is very, very comfortable. Lots of nice little touches such as cutlery and dinner plates in the room, electric blanket on the bed, and more. One of the nicest motel rooms we've ever stayed at. Location is ideal for exploring the island by car and Cowes on foot. Staff friendly and welcoming and on site facilities looked great (didn't use them but there is a pool, bbq area, kids playground). We had a small issue with something in our room but staff were very prompt to resolve it (going over and above what we would have expected). Would return and would recommend!

The TV in our room was a smart TV but wasn't connected to the Internet. A minor thing and certainly wouldn't stop us from returning.

Located in a nice area and within walking distance to beach and town. The motel appears to be an older 70s style that has been refurbished and our room was nicely fitted out that extended into the bathroom. The room was clean and the grounds are nice. Id probably stay again.

If I had to be picky, there is some noise transmission between the walls, probably due to the construction type. We were fortunate that our adjoining guests were peaceful and did not party or run the tv above comfortable levels in their rooms. One thing I dislike when travelling is being woken by noisy guests but maybe that doesn't bother others.

Loved the room, was very spacious, and had everything we needed on hand. Daily housekeeping was a lovely touch! We were very comfortable and the location *chef's kiss*. It's walking distance to the main street where the eateries and shops are - even for my two children (9 & 13). Close to the beach, which had a great playground and BBQ facilities.

Purposely booked the Seahorse due to the pool. However, the pool water was so cold my kids didn't spend more than 2 minutes in there, and that was on a really hot/humid day. They have clothes washing facilities however, the dryer is out of order (there is a clothes line).

Stayed at the Seahorse Motel for 2 nights in late Feb 2024. 10 min walk or 2 min by car to Cowes Beach and Thompson Ave, the main shopping strip in Cowes. Very convenient location. Close to restaurants and cafes. Drove there from Melbourne. About 2 hour drive. Price paid was $180 per night. Very well worth the price. Was greeted by Karen at reception desk who was lovely. There is parking available in front of the room. My partner and I stayed in a double standard room. Room was quite spacious, and very clean. All the staff were very nice. Had all the essential amentities, free wifi, shampoo & conditioner, soap, hairdryer, mini fridge, coffee & tea station, television and extra sitting area. There is also shared washing & drying facilities and an outdoor pool. Originally I had booked for 1 night, but ended up staying in Phillip Island, an extra night. Had no issues with extending our stay there. Would highly reccomend staying there for a trip to Phillip Island.

the room were cleaned, great customer service, the location was great near shops didn't have to drive to the shops it is a walk able distance, near the beach. the room has heated blankets. it also has a playground area for kids and a BBQ area and a pool too. this place has really exceeded my exceptions. looking again to book my next trip here. no issues.
