We stayed in room 2, it was a nice cosy room for our family of 3. The room was well equipped with everything we needed for a weekend getaway, it even had hotplates to cook on. A nice touch was a dark coloured wash cloth labelled for make up removal, I've never seen that in a hotel and as a makeup wearer I always worry that I'll stain the white wash cloths, so this was perfect. While the decor was older, the room was very clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, we've never stayed in a hotel with such a soft, comfortable bed. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to the shops, cafes/restaurants , and the beach. The staff are absolutely lovely too. We'll definitely stay again.

My son & I had an amazing time at the Coachman! Our room was so nice, clean & comfortable, it had everything we wanted & I loved being upstairs with a beautiful view. The spa was awesome! We swam in the pool & had a great time. The location is really close to the beach, restaurants & shops, not even a 5 minute walk! We only used my car once to go to the carnival, the rest of the time we walked everywhere. The owners were lovely, very helpful & made us feel really welcome. We can’t wait to come back next time we have a holiday at Phillip Island!!

Easy check in and check out, lovely, friendly owners. Our room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. The location was excellent, 5 minute walk to the beach and a short walk to the main town centre with its abundance of great eateries. I would recommend staying here.

The only negative I would say is the pool area could be better. It definitely needs a little maintenance as it is looking worn. Perhaps some new sun lounges and new plants would make it look so much better and more inviting, it has so much potential.

Booking was easy and was given an upgrade with a kitchenette which was great!! Facilities were clean and the larger fridge was a bonus!! We had plenty of clean towels and the shower was excellent!! Cooling and heating were available via inverter which was great and warmed our room very quickly.We weren’t far from the beach ( 4 min walk) and town was an uphill 5min walk with 3 supermarkets within a 10min walk and 2 in a car. My visit was off season and the prices were very reasonable!! I highly recommend choosing The Coachman and look forward to staying again!!

Nothing we were pretty happy with. Our stay. If I could suggest one thing it would be to have access to a recycle bin for our water and beer bottles.

I liked how when I arrived I told the manager what I was needing due work space the room I had booked so I was shown a more suitable room for me and I was moved into that room no worries , the manager James was very friendly and helpful with future bookings as I worked on the island monthly so I have booked 2 more months ahead and have a earlier check in time as well I highly recommend this motel when going to stay at Phillip Island

The room was comfortable and clean, and it was centrally located to shops and restaurants.

The bathroom was a bit "tired" but overall, there wasn't much that we didn't like. Was a bit annoyed that when booking we said we would pay on arrival, but the payment was taken some days prior to arrival. If the customer is given the option to pay on arrival and that is what they choose then that should be honoured.

Excellent location. Walking distance to shops and town. The room was spacious. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. All appliances worked and were easy to use. Wi fi was excellent. It was really quiet.

I didn't use the spa because where it had been repainted at some point was chipped and the bath itself wasn't up to my standards of being clean. The shower was great though and the rest of the bathroom was clean.

I stayed in room 11. - It was a cute cozy room, super neat and super clean. I was very impressed. - I also liked the bathroom, the shower was modern and clean and water pressure and hot water was fantastic. - Tv has Netflix and YouTube , I had the perfect movie night. - There were necessary amenities available in the room for me to prepare food and make some tea. - The gazebo, and bbq area just outside my room was lovely. I sat out there for some fresh air in the morning. - The manager at reception, I think his name was James(?) He was very polite and friendly. He offered to suggest some tourist places. :) - The price was reasonable. - 10/10 will stay again.

It was great value for money. The staff were very friendly and approachable. Location was perfect for walking distance to everything in town.

A few cosmetic items need updating here and there. The faucet to the bath needs attention as it leaks when running. To pay extra to have a spa room, I expect the jets on the spa to actually function as a spa bath and not be as a bath tub.

I really liked the friendly welcome. The gentlemen was kind and made it easy for us to check in and felt instantly comfortable. Bed was comfy and the place was simple and clean. Our kids had their own beds in the seperate room while me and my partner had the tv directly across the bed so we could chill after kids went to bed. Heating in the room was perfect. Hot water pressure in the shower was great. Thankyou coachman motel we will be back!
