We absolutely loved our stay in the beachfront cabin! The three-bedroom setup was perfect for our family of five, giving us plenty of space to relax. The location was amazing—just a short walk to the beach and an easy stroll into Cowes. We were lucky to have perfect summer weather, which made our stay even better. Highly recommend for a relaxing and Victorian coastal getaway!

The park itself felt quite run down, so we didn’t use any of the facilities. Our cabin’s location near the back gate was convenient for walking in and out. The cabin’s fans were extremely noisy. Unfortunately, the on-site restaurant was a letdown—the food was poor quality, and we wouldn’t recommend it. You’re better off taking a short walk into town for a meal instead.

Upstairs neighbors were up late and my kids couldn't sleep, as they were watching TV and chatting away and dropping things on the floor. This kept all of us up... Nothing to wash dishes with ( if I had known I would have packed some kitchen sponges) But not a big deal

We found the place really clean and the staff were all friendly. The owners, Nada and Ken, made sure our stay was fantastic. The food and coffee at the restaurant were fantastic too. The location is so close to the main streets and walking distance to the beach. They have taken in pride to redo up the place, and it really shows good quality fittings throughout the room. With kitchen items you can use too. We recommend it for families as well. Lovely place to relax and unwind from a busy life. It is a great place to stay so you can visit all attractions around the island, too. We have no complaints, and if an issue came about, the owners were willing to help. Thank you for your hospitality.

Kaloha Holiday Resort is more of a basic accommodation than a true resort. My stay was satisfactory overall – the room was clean and comfortable for a one-night stay.

However, the luggage deposit service was disappointing. They simply allocated an unsecured space outside the reception for bags, which didn’t offer much peace of mind. Additionally, the check-in hours were quite restrictive, which was inconvenient as I had back-to-back trips planned around Phillip Island. Thankfully, the location was very convenient and close to attractions like the seal cruise and penguin parade. Despite the drawbacks, it served its purpose for a short stay.

The location of the property is awesome. Straight walk to the beach, restaurants and cafes. You don't waste your time travelling and finding some of the best places to walk and eat. The lady at the reception is too kind and helpful. At the checkout she enquired about things that could've improved whereas most other places just say "Hope you had a pleasant stay". She did really care about our comfort and negatives, if any.

The kitchenette is a bit too small for a 3 bedroom cottage.

Good location. Clean and the family room was a good size for us, 2 adults and 2 small children. The kids liked the park but we didn’t get to enjoy the pool as we only stayed one night.

Only thing I didn’t like is there wasn’t a secondary lock for your hotel door, if someone knows your code they can let themselves in. That personally makes me uncomfortable with having small children stay with us. I like when you go to a hotel you can usually double lock your door. Besides that, our stay was nice.

The apartment was spacious with a big living room and two fine bedrooms. It was clean and comfortable with option of cooking meals. There is a nice swimmingpool. The resort is very close to the beach.

It is so nice to have a kitchen, but it would be even better with more cutlery and plates and an oven. A bit expensive due to high season and Phillip Island bring so popular.

Room was surprisingly good because the amount we paid for it was quite ideal. Had a balcony (view wasn't of the beach but it was a bonus). Tv was a decent size and connected to the wifi for subscription streaming. Mini fridge was good. The spa bath was amazing that we used it both nights! Walk to the beach was 60 seconds.. 60 seconds. Close to the main strip of Cowes by foot. We'll be back.

Would suggest just in the mornings that it was a little noisy with a truck roaming around the grounds moving bins or other equipment. Leaving that sort of stuff until say after 9am wouldve been great. Shower temp is really sensitive. Touching the tap adjusts it ten fold but otherwise, no complaints.

The location of the resort was ideal and the standard of cleaning was excellent.

The 2 bedroom unit we were assigned, Unit 8, had a bathroom designed for disabled persons. However, the shower drainage is so poor, the bathroom flooded after only one mildly pressured shower and was extremely hazardous for we three able bodied people. I had to mop the floor using the bath mat and then positioned it and the one extra bath towel to create a levy, to limit the spread of water for the two subsequent showers. This drainage problem needs to be addressed before someone has a nasty fall.

Besides the rude receptionist staff it was a pleasant stay Reception needs to learn basic customer service. I had done an online check in and wanted to make sure it was all correct. Attended reception and was greeted by a very rude lady who made me feel so uncomfortable. The utter disrespect and attitude that came from her almost made me not want to stay there.
