Loved the bakery bread and spreads. Loved the styling, colour scheme, furnishings and many nice touches. It has an intriguing layout, is comfy and spacious, is central to town and close to everything, but is still a quiet escape from everything. Perfect for a couple. Glad the bedroom doesn't have a TV in it too.
We don't like having a shower over the bath, BUT this bath is a full-blown spa-bath for one and we would have loved to use it. We should have taken the butter out of the fridge so that it would be soft. Sadly we ran out of spreads before we ran out of the lovely bread on our last day.

The apartment was cosy. A split system and electric blanket for warmth was greatly appreciated. Quiet enough, away from the Main Street, but within walking distance to everything. The outlook on to trees was relaxing, with bird life to listen to. Check in was easy with keys left in apartment door. Check out was the same. Lovely provision of fresh orange juice, milk, sour dough bread and butter. Adequate kitchen facilities for 'home' cooking.
The bed was very hard so there was not much sleep unfortunately. We couldn't locate any cereal for all the milk that we were supplied so it felt a bit wasteful. The bathroom needs an exhaust fan for the steam from the showers. Couldn't locate things like garbage bags, glad wrap, alfoil.

The apartment was beautifully presented. We also appreciated the personal touches of chocolates, a litre of milk (not those dodgy milk capsules) and juice in the fridge, artisan bread and cereal. It was so lovely arriving to the already heated room and the north-facing sitting room and balcony had perfect views of the mountains. The location was fantastic - tucked away in a quiet leafy street but a 5 minute walk to restaurants and the theatre venue.
There was nothing that I did not like.

The cottage was quaint, quirky, clean & very comfortable. The keys were left in the door via sms msg re parking space too. Delightful kitchen, pretty crockery. Lovely box of twinnings assorted tea, OJ, mueseli, fresh crusty bread, butter etc & fresh milk & condiments. To enjoy the cottage & relax we purchased cheeses & fruit & enjoyed peace & quiet rather than a noisy restaurant. The cottage had very tastefull in keeping decor . Good bathroom supplies.

Great location, very clean and comfortable, quiet but very close to the main street. We only stayed one night but it is perfect for several days, with a great starter pack of food and condiments! Loved sitting on the balcony for breakfast and coffee.
We have a large vehicle, so the driveway was tight and we were lucky we were the last to leave so that we could turn around in the car park. Backing down would have been interesting! Apart from that, it is a perfect location in Healesville.

Flexible check in, very friendly staff, the place was so cute and cozy, it had everything we needed and very central. We where even left with a beautiful, fresh sourdough and yummy breakfast options. The price was amazing, we really appreciated and enjoyed our stay.
Everything was great, the only negatives are the bed was uncomfortable and the floors are very thin, we could hear everything from the people upstairs including a man snoring at night.

The charm, location, calming peacefulness PERFECT TIME OUT Detail and quirky setup of a spa overlooking the kitchen, handy for my husband to refill my glass, Gaylene has thought of everything and gone above and beyond, down to fresh country baked bread locally produced by the Wild Grains Bakehouse, a litre of milk in the fridge & fresh squeezed juice and home made muesli .. touches you don’t find anywhere! Loved it.

Great location - just a quick walk from the shops and restaurants and 5 minutes drive from the sanctuary. Breakfast made available was a plus. Spacious apartment with nice terrace.
Not soundproof at all - there is another apartment upstairs and we could clearly hear the people talking and watching tv even if they seemed to do that at a normal volume. We could also feel every step they’d take with crackling and loud noises coming from our ceiling.

The little touches with the fresh bread, OJ, milk, condiments and chocolate treats was lovely. The main split system and the little personal heater made the rooms toasty on a cold Winter day. The couch was incredibly comfy and nice for enjoying the tree top view.
Couldn't find remote control for split system in the room with the bath. Shower leaked.

We loved our stay in the Garden apartment (NB: there are another 3 apartments which likely have a different configuration). Garden was ideal for myself and adult daughter, with a queen and a single in another room. The owners have thought things through - the decor was French-inspired and tasteful without being twee - a nice complement to the house and the area. The electric blankets were very much appreciated. The owners thoughtfully provided a nice loaf of sourdough and some jams, however you really want to get out - great Healesville coffee and food is a short walk away down the hill. You could easily stay for two weeks and not eat at the same place twice - and that's not counting the wineries. We really enjoyed it. The apartments are very easy to find, and owner Gaylene ensures you are well informed and looked after. The reward for a little hike up the hill is an elevated view over the ranges, and a lovely private garden where I can imagine in warmer days a glass and some local cheese would go down a treat.
We didn't NOT like anything. However - if you are elderly or have mobility issues, the Garden apartment would not work too well - perhaps one of the others? Two issues (1) 2xflights of stairs to the front door, and (2) shower is over a tall bath, so you need to be nimble to hop in. While we appreciated the elevated position, I can imagine people with mobility issues or dodgy hips or knees would find it a little challenging.
