Such a peaceful location located at the far end of the golf course, tucked away, stayed with a group of girlfriends, loved the fire, wandered the walking tracks, kangeroos around, felt like a world away not far from home. Comfy beds, plenty of fire wood.

A few of the cottages can be split to accomodate two groups side by side or one very large group. We would have preferred to be given one smalll stand alone cottage to ourselves at the front of the park for extra privacy.. that said, I don't think anyone was put into the rooms beside us so it didn't matter. With a larger chatty group we just didn't want to distrub anyone elses quiet weekend.

Beautiful stay with a large and comfortable cottage. Breakfast provided was nice with a free bottle of wine. Location was near to many attractions within the Yarra Valley area. Loved the kangaroos right in front of our cottage.

Better signage could be provided along the main pathway to indicate the cottage. We were assigned no. 5 cottage and the numbering was only placed on the cottage itself. The numbering was not visible from the main path and we spent some time trying to locate our cottage. The problem is worse at night. Suggest to include signages (e.g. the number of the cottage) along the main pathway.

We had a delightful 5 nights’ stay. It was everything as described. Really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen so we could cook our meals daily, as well as the breakfast hamper. Being greeted each morning by kangaroos at your doorstep was so special. Also appreciated the electric blanket when it’s cold. Would come back again! Thank you too to the team for promptly responding to our enquiries.

The shower hot water tap came loose a couple of times and the water temperature was a bit hard to control but otherwise all very good!

Absolutely stunning views and very comfortable beds. Loved the bush walks on the river and the golf course with kangaroos. We enjoyed having a shared cottage with our friends so we could eat on the balcony together. We loved the breakfast provisions especially the muesli, and also the complimentary bottle of wine which was a very nice drop! We liked our visits from the cockies

Some areas needed attention eg outside light not turning on and off properly, dishwasher racks broken, heater not working in one bedroom, gas bottle for bbq empty, no fire lighters provided for the fire and it was impossible to get it alight without fire lighters (unless a girl guide!)

Another fabulous stay at YGC. Beautifully appointed accommodation in stunning nature. Everything you need on hand - bbq, counter top oven, hob, microwave, log fire, Netflix integrated tv, comfortable bed, jacuzzi bath and don’t forget the wildlife! Kathryn & the team do a fabulous job making sure your stay is a memorable one. You’re also near (10-15 min drive) fabulous wineries if you want a tasting or lunch. Wifi is 80mb download 20mb upload if that is of interest.

It was wonderful to have some local / organic produce for breakfast. The view was beautiful.. to wake up in the morning to all the birds singing and watch the kangaroos grazing.. Then in the evening you build your fire in the lounge and just relax. We were attending a wedding so we didn't get to relax and enjoy as much as we wanted. So there will definitely be a next time

The road leading to the cabins; the road is narrow difficult for two cars to pass - although there isn't much traffic the thought of an on coming car is scary. Also, it is a bumpy road.

Very spacious, country setting with kangaroos everywhere. We were not there long enough to walk some of the trails but great to see you could.

Our air conditioner wasn’t very effective for the 33 degree day but the fan helped. Our daughters cabin was really cool so maybe ours needed maintenance. The gate exit wasn’t working late at night when our taxi driver returned after dropping us off. It eventually let him out after 5 mins. Again maintenance?

Cottage was nice and cosy, the stay-in breakfast was great too. We liked that we had a private cottage to ourselves, that oversaw some wildlife (yes, we saw kangeroos/wallabies!) Check-in was a breeze, although we missed the check-in period. And we really appreciated the late check-out, which we requested. Overall, it's a perfect stay!

The hot water will run out, so something to take note if you're staying in a big group and planning to have a good soak!

The cottage was lovely for a weekend away, it had all amenities needed including a beautiful patio with bbq, TV, large double bed and fireplace (or AC if you're visiting in summer). The view from our cottage was stunning - kangaroos everywhere. A bonus was the golf course, which you'll receive a discount rate to play at. Also great was that you can park your car at the cottage door.

The property is a bit dated but not a bad thing at all.

The view was excellent, we loved watching the kangaroos and the golf course. The bed was large and comfortable. An excellent bathroom. ,

The kitchen layout did not function well. The water glasses were heavy and when full were extremely heavy to use. The microwave door did not open properly because of the fridge.
