Staff were super helpful & friendly, rooms clean & modern although small There are discounts on tastings & wines for guests Can organize day trips from the winery Spectacular views from the restaurant Buffet breakfast available

Hectic set of stairs to the room was a bit of an issue, especially when carting luggage to/from the car I would recommend paying extra for a room with a view as ours had no view outside except for a window at the end of the room that was obscured by a tree On the last night all the tv's went down , so was wishing I took a book to read

Architecturally stunning (particularly main building), welcome wine tasting, outlook from main building for breakfast, fairly comfortable

Not the luxury accommodation that was expected, no outlook from room (trees block view and most rooms overlook a disused tennis court being used for staff parking which is a lost opportunity given the outlook from main building), lack of soft furnishings in room (particularly loungeroom) made it feel a bit empty & clinical, appears air con was an afterthought when it was built not long ago and this has been retrofitted with ugly pipes

Spacious rooms, nice view, bed was comfy.

We were expecting more for the price. The breakfast reminded us of a conference hotel buffet, the coffee machine was perpetually empty/not working and if you wanted a barista coffee you had to pay extra. The room had dead bugs along the front windows (the windows were not open so no idea how long they’d been there). We found one of the remote controls tucked up in the fold-up couch. Looked more like a basic place for families rather than what we were hoping for, but I spoke to locals and apparently this is well-known, so we should have done our homework better! Skip the complimentary wine-tasting - the wines are terrible and the Yarra Valley has much better on offer!

Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Bed was super comfortable. Lovely food in the restaurant and bar food too. The staff at the restaurant were 10/10 - reception have a bit of work to make it to a 10. Great engagement when I had queries prior to arriving. Endota Spa was wonderful!

Not that it was a dislike, but more space with comfy lounge chairs of sofas would be amazing as it would be lovely to lounge, read a book with a fab glass of their wine! My room was block 6, and quite dark to walk to at night alone. Some refurbished needed in the gym and pool - some quick wins to be had there, see photo.

I loved that our room was so spacious. All the finishings were new and everything was pretty neat. The location is nice, easy to get to and close to nearby attractions . I also loved Restaurant 1309. I also like that parking is available closer to the rooms.

Despite the spacious room there was only a double sofa and an arm chair. For 4 adults its didn't feel like enough to comfortably sit together. Also, I don't recall booking a disability access room but that's what we got going by the bathroom. It was fine but the shower curtains did not look very clean, a door would have been better. Also, the sink had a stinky smell at times. Lastly, our door lock was broken and it doesn't feel secure having the front bedroom right as you enter. I wish there was a door to keep the bedroom separate.

Staff very helpful and friendly and nice dining room for dinner. We were given an upgrade to a Deluxe room on the top floor with a separate bedroom and living room with balcony and view. It was a cold day and the aircon was set to 16 degrees cool and we couldn't adjust it. A staff member came to our room and spend over half an hour working out how to change the aircon setting from cool to warm. It was lovely of her but shouldn't have been necessary. I found the bed comfy.

Kept awake by revellers in next door room. At 2.30am I went onto the balcony and called across to them to ask them to turn the music down. We told the hotel next day and they said we could have called reception. It was a Wednesday night so thought it would be ok. Our second night was fine. You had to get out of bed to reach the switch for the bedside lights. Only two coat hangers of the sort you can't unhook although a staff member did bring us 3 more on request. The bathroom was huge but (in my opinion) very unattractive brown/orange tiles and very poor lighting. Impossible to do make up in. Living room huge but lighting poor. Needed a floor lamp in the corner. Would be good if you're with a group and want to socialise in each other's rooms and on each other's balconies.

We stayed for our 10 year wedding anniversary and had such a wonderful time. The staff were friendly, we were given a complimentary room upgrade, a bottle of bubbles and were really treated special. The rooms were so clean, spacious, safe, comfortable and even the mini bar was reasonably priced. The restaurant has a WONDERFUL buffet breakfast! we were so happy with our stay. We will be back.

i wish i had visited the pool area before we were leaving, as just before i handed the keys back i ducked my head in and there is even a steam room! Only complaint i had, which wasnt the end of the world, but where we stayed was right near the wine store room, so the staff used a buggy (which very loudly beeps like a fire alarm when it reverses) to collect stuff out of the storage, but each time it reversed we woke up- so no sleep in for us! just meant we had to get up and do stuff. not so bad.

We chose this hotel primarily for the hot air balloon riding, and it certainly did not disappoint. One of the best parts was not needing to travel too early for the ride, which made our mornings much more relaxing. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We also appreciated the complimentary wine tasting event – it was a lovely touch! Breakfast was another highlight; it was great and provided plenty of options to fuel our day. We were delighted that we could extend our check-out time as well. Additionally, if you're a fan of walking trails, this location offers a huge network of trails that are perfect for exploring. Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great getaway!

the dinner at hotel is quite nice. wine is nice also. we like them all.

DO NOT using booking.com to book this hotel. they dont allow me to do the price match when the price dropped. I booked this hotel in Australia Dollar. I sent the screenshot from booking.com app (price with SGD), but the customer service keep rejecting my claim because of different currency. it's ridiculous that they dont want to do a currency exchange during the claim, but on their website u can choose different rate to do the booking.

The views were stunning, and the rooms were modern and comfortable. The staff are fantastic and so friendly, from the front desk to the restaurant and the cellar door. So accommodating and helpful. The food was great and highly recommended the wine tasting. Spa experience was perfect.

The only small thing was no undercover area for smokers. I didn't like smoking right beside the front entrance and would have loved a small area where I could have a wine with my cigarette. But I understand that accommodating smokers is not the top priority.
