The design, furnishings, facilities and catering of the continental breakfast plus treats/snacks were exceptional. We all arrived from the rush of pre-Christmas work and instantly relaxed when we walked in each cottage because everything we needed was right there, clean and beautifully presented.

There is nothing that was not liked. From the BBQ on the back patio to Foxtel Sports and all the facilities for a family gathering, including multiple bathrooms and space to get ready for a family wedding - eveything was wonderful.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful cottage for two nights and I cannot recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning surroundings and charming atmosphere. The cottage itself was immaculate and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The furnishings were tasteful and cozy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable - I slept like a baby both nights! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed to cook delicious meals, and the living room was the perfect spot to curl up with a book or watch a movie. Tucked away in a peaceful and secluded corner of the countryside, the cottage offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. I spent my days exploring the beautiful nearby countryside and picturesque villages, and my evenings relaxing in the tranquil surroundings of the cottage. What really made the stay special were the hosts. They were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was as enjoyable as possible. They had lots of great tips on local attractions and were always on hand to answer any questions I had. They granted us full access of their grounds which was incredibly helpful for pictures we took the morning of our wedding. Overall, I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing break in the Yarra Valley. With its stunning surroundings, charming atmosphere, and welcoming hosts, it truly is the perfect place to escape from it all

Lovely spacious house, very kind owner, easy parking, quiet location

We thought we would get fresh continental breakfast each day as mentioned in the booking but that is not the case. There are some breakfast items on arrival and that’s it. Cleanliness could be better.

Lovely cottage, beautifully decorated and maintained. Everything you could need was supplied. Fantastic location, close to major shops but in 2 minutes you are in the countryside of the Yarra Valley. Kerry was very responsive and friendly in any communications.

We were well looked after and had everything we needed. Location was perfect as we had a wedding at The Vines at ST Helen’s, 7 minute drive away. Glad we stayed two nights, the accom was too nice to leave and we relaxed after the wedding.

Outstanding australian cottage, beautiful inside and out. Well appointed, lovely furnishings and breakfast was perfect with enough food for 6 adults. Across the road to a lovely club and a short drive to shops. Kerry and Peter we're wonderful hosts and couldn't do more to make you welcome

Accommodation exceeded expectations. Beautifully decorated house with everything suplied. Everything needed was there, from breakfast and sweets, coffee, and tea. A+++

What a stunning property. It was absolutely beautiful and we all loved it. Plenty for breakfast for the 5 of us and enough choice. Really close to shops and amenities and a short drive to Healesville and all the Yarra Valley has to offer.

Location was excellent, property was absolutely beautiful, well-decorated and appeared newly-renovated, breakfast provided was delicious. Host easy to communicate with. Thanks for providing us also with the requested milk!

Some stains/marks on the bedlinen but there were so many extra pillows it was not an issue

Absolutely stunning! Perfect in every way. My family stayed for our daughter’s wedding in January 2022. Kerry, our host, was delightful and helpful in every way – and the breakfast provisions were excellent (fresh strawberries, yogurt, milk, cereal, bread/muffins, chocolates). Communication with Kerry was brilliant - she is so responsive and thoughtful. The accommodation was simply amazing – and beyond our expectations. Rosebery cottage is fabulous – three bedrooms - bedroom 1 has a beautiful bay window, queen bed and an ensuite (complete with bathtub – and a few bath toys for the kids, toilet and shower). Laundry. Bedroom 2 has a beautiful queen bed. Bedroom 3 is sensational – large king bed, its own lounge room, kitchenette and accessible bathroom. Lavender Suite (shares the same verandah as Sage Cottage) is perfect for a romantic weekend away or privacy from a big family. And, wow, wow, wow, a perfectly restored Melbourne tram – with so many amazing intricate – double beds – one at either end. Also a kitchenette (with breakfast supplies) and bathroom (shower and toilet). The seating area is a true tram passenger area. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED all of the accommodation - comfort level, cleanliness, linen, towels, breakfast provisions - and the quality of the tram, cottage, suite was incredible. For a bride and groom (and their families) – this is the place for you – brilliant for photos in the garden, tram, cottages (so many choices). The location is whisper quiet – incredible given its proximity to Lilydale and the highway. Only the native birds wake you up – fantastic! And parking is plentiful and undercover.
