Unit situated on a large campus and the building housing the unit had a large expanse of lawn at the front. Noticed a few rabbits and birds frequented this space in the mornings. which was a nice touch. Room was spacious with king size bed. Looks like the bed could be split into two king size singles if required. Full size bath provided for those who like to soak.

Not that I didn't like it but it should be noted that the access roads to this property are fairly narrow coming to and from the main thoroughfares in the suburb, some with minimal or no shoulders. So, extra caution is required when passing approaching vehicles. The car parking areas on this conference campus are not always immediately in front of respective units/buildings, and being uncovered, inclement weather could present a problem when loading/unloading vehicles, as it would require walking some distance with suitcases etc in damp conditions, to get to the unit. The fridge could have been bigger and dish washing facility was less than adequate.

Had an issue with original room and I was upgraded. I had not realised there were higher level rooms and would book those in future. Executive. Staff so help and friendly. Tina, Kylie, Anneka, Linna, Eddie and all the housekeeping staff. I was really impressed with the property and was able to relax on the lawns in the sunshine. Beautiful grounds and walks outside of the property. It was the perfect base for me but you do need a vehicle. Great you get coffee at the bar but had difficulty with any outside restaurant/takeway wanting to deliver. Bring your own food. Highly recommend Foothills.

Location and surroundings were ideal for visiting our friends locally. The room and facilities were spacious, quiet and comfortable. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

There wasn't a heated towel rail or heater in the bathroom to help dry our towels and take the chill off the bathroom at this time of year.

Room was very spacious and had a King size bed. The landscape is lovely and green, and surrounded by a lot of trees. Very relaxing and peaceful. Breakfast is not available, however cafes are only a 7 min drive away.

I would have preferred they had a breakfast area. They could do a continental style like offer croissants, raisin bread, toast with jam or vegemite. A cappucino, perculated coffee, latte and cup of tea would be great. Guests could prepay their breakfast,

Room was large, comfortable and well equipped. Good value and a surprising find for suburban Melbourne.

Suggest putting some hooks or rails in the bathroom to hang the wet towels and dressing clothes on. Not many power plugs to connect laptops or power chargers too. Only in bathroom and over fridge and behind beds. Nothing on the desk area. Would be nice to have a tray of ice cubes already frozen in the fridge.

Would like the restaurant to be open for smaller gatherings, we had 16 in our group, needed minimum of 20 for the restaurant, and ended up having dinner at one of the recommended taverns which was nice but too noisy for the elderly members of our group.

The rooms were very spacious and clean and had all the basic things one needed. The bed was massive and very comfy!!! Great for family with kids as there is a park as well and nice to go around the property for a stroll. Probably would have helped if the property was better lit as it was too dark at night to find the rooms, so some more lighting would have been good. Did not have breakfast there.

The setting was beautiful!!! Rooms great and spacious - Loved the shower. It was terrific!!

The furniture outside the rooms were a bit tatty and would look better with just a clean - were pretty grimy. Also we were attending a concert - it would be great if there was transport from the venue - seems like lots of us were going there.

Bed, pillows, linen all very comfortable. room warmed up after a few hours. Please could we have mugs for tea & coffee. lots of milk thankyou. gorgeous location would like to come back wifi not available as we were late arrival (after 9 and had to travel to get there late) number on directory would be good please!

walls around toilet, near shower and behind doors near handles were not clean. covid clean standards please.

The bed in the King Delux was HUGE!! And nice and comfy. We stayed here with a group of people as we attended a wedding in Coldstream and the accomodation was exactly what we needed. Location is a little out of the way but as we had hired transport to pick us up and drop us back to Foothills it was no problem at all. If we attend another wedding int eh area we will certainly book a group of rooms again.
