It is always great heading up to the Dandenong's for a relaxing time and I would recommend it to anyone out there as they never fail to be homely and comfortable. Unfortunatley we copped a wet few days which stopped us from sitting outside on the deck but you cant stop mother nature.

Not much...Great little cottage and very clean with lovely gardens surrounding it...but as it was raining a lot we went to watch some Netflix and have a drink Friday night but the TV is an older version without that capability (has a built in DVD only) which we found a couple we liked. If we could possibly suggest an upgrade of this to a smart TV (which are very cheap now days) it would have been perfect. Normal TV is veryyy boring.

My husband and I stay here each year for our anniversary. The hosts are amazing, the gardens are just beautiful, and the cottages are so cute, cosy, and always clean. Then there's the little touches that just make it feel even more welcoming... you walk into a beautifully scented cottage with soft music playing on your arrival, and not to mention the breakfast provided is always fantastic and so thoughtfully put together! It's quite literally my favourite getaway place!

The forrest setting was wonderful, lots of birds and flowers. Good location, good to have a car but we did walk to the village for dinner. Close to the Botanic Gardens. Great breakfast supplies provided, plenty of food for us and dietary preferenes wete catered for. Nice touch to have lovely tea service to use and complimentary port. Happy for the gas stove as it was very cold and rainy during our visit. We had a very relaxing visit. Great communication from the hosts.

It was all good.

There are not enough words to describe how perfect our stay was! The cottage was splendid, very clean, cozy and comfortable and Karen and Tamara were so lovely to have some music and the fire going for our arrival. This was the perfect little romantic getaway. The location is also so close to shops/cafes but it feels like you’re worlds away in your own space. It was very quiet and serene. We will definitely be making this an annual getaway!

I loved everything about the cottage. Thoughtful touches like beautiful tableware, relaxing music playing on arrival. It was just gorgeous and I wish we could have stayed longer. Its walking distance to the village and a short drive to supermarket and surrounded by nature. It is also under an hour from Melbourne so I would definitely stay here over being in town.

Nothing, it was all fabulous

The location is beautiful. I had been there before so was looking forward to going again. There was a great attention to detail from the fresh flowers in vases, the little chocolates and port to the fact that the heating and music had been switched on prior to my arrival. Everything was clean and tidy and conducive to a very relaxing ambience which was exactly what I needed.The directions provided were clear and the reception on the day I arrived was friendly. The breakfast provided was more than adequate (milk juice water and butter in the fridge, 2 types of cereal and both instant and pod coffee and tea).

The only tiny thing that I didn't like ( I may be being just a tad fussy) is that the tea towels smelt a little musty. There really wasn't anything else that I didn't like. Everything else was perfect.

The attention to detail was incredible! As soon as we walked through the front door, we were greeted with serenity! Warm fire, warm lighting and warm music. It set the tone for our peaceful stay 💖💖 The lady who owns this place is so lovely! She was very responsive to our messages and you can feel how much she loves what she does. Thank you so incredibly much for your hospitality 🌻🌻🌻

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful spot. Close by to the town (within walking distance) but it was just a tad too wet and cold to do so the weekend we stayed. We had birds come up onto the decking and a kookaburra in the trees surrounding us. The gas heater warmed up the cottage and there were electric blankets on the bed as well to keep us toasty. The cottage was clean and the fridge was stocked for us with water, almond milk (as my husband mentioned he is plant based) and juice. It is a nice, relaxing spot for a couple to hide away like we did, and wanted to, for a (Babymoon) weekend. We will definitely return once this new baby is old enough to sleep at his grandparents.

The only downsides were that there wasn't a shower cap provided and toilet paper could have been a little bit thicker but really those two things aren't anything to take off stars for reviews as i usually bring my own of both of those items when I travel. The place was fantastic for a little getaway.

Once we arrived at the location, we were amazed at the beautiful spot that the cottage was placed. The room was cosy, perfect for the cold weekend, and the complimentary food and drink was lovely. Overall was a great experience and would go back again!

The only issue I had was that the hot water was limited. We wanted to have a bath and was filling up the bath with warm water but that only lasted for a couple of minutes and turned to cold water. We waited for 30 mins to see if it would get hotter and it didn't so unfortunately couldn't have a nice bath.

Location and directions to the property were excellent. Port and chocolates a nice touch. A very generous breakfast provisions. In fact all provisions were generous, tissues, towels, toilet paper. Beautiful garden setting with friendly cats

Bed was a bit hard but that’s a personal preference. No English breakfast tea 😢
