Have stayed quite a few times here and it's nearly always clean and tidy. This time I was placed away from the cinema's carpark so I wasn't woken at midnight like last time. The staff were super friendly and the parking was secure and plentiful.

The place was moderately clean but still with some gross elements if you looked closely enough (like brown skid marks on the grey wall and dusty corners etc). The room had a queen and a single bed and the single was so soft my friend had trouble sleeping on it. The thermostat was over- aggressively warm (at least it was warm though).

We've stayed here a few times. Find the beds very comfortable. Sheets feel crisp and clean. Room was spacious enough for us. Bathroom was cold, a heat lamp would have been great, as would have been a fan. We ate breakfast at the Ibis for the first time. Thoroughly enjoyed when I figured out where everything was. Staff heated some soy milk for my coffee which wasn't readily available with the other milks.

The only thing to complain about was when my husband took our 11 year old upstairs half way through breakfast. Upon his return, my husband feels he wasn't spoken to respectfully when the staff member informed him he wasn't allowed to come and go from breakfast. We were unaware of this rule, but we weren't about to allow an 11 year old to go to the room on his own. This "rule" was not clearly stated somewhere so that we would know.

Excellent accommodation in the heart of a bustling suburb, close to the Glen Shopping Mall — full of excellent eateries and shops — and public transport options, plus with convenient street parking across the road. (Free for 2h between 8am-8pm; unlimited otherwise.) $20 daily parking available in garage. Comfortable and quiet rooms refreshed by daily housekeeping. A generous selection of Dilmah teas and Nescafé coffee available, along with a small carton of milk in the fridge. There is an ironing board tucked into the streamlined wardrobe. A wooden countertop running beside the window provides a place to eat or work. Friendly, proactive and helpful staff at reception made my family's stay (with 2 toddlers) a delightful experience. We had a lovely view from the 3rd floor and even saw a rainbow! The $20 breakfast buffet is great value for money, with a variety of tasty edibles to start your day off right. Enjoyed a hot breakfast of bacon, sausages, poached eggs, scrambled eggs and baked beans, then some croissants and cute cinnamon rolls. Cereals and toast also available, plus small pancakes from a pancake-maker (toddler enjoyed this very much). Orange and apple juice available, along with tea and coffee. A range of fresh fruit and yoghurt/sliced peaches as well. Both indoor and outdoor dining available.

Was disappointed not to find a tissue box on the first day but glad it was provided from the second day onward.

Comfortable bed, nice towels (which they changed daily, an added bonus), good hot water and pressure. Room was clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurant choices just a short walk away as well as grocery stores. Train station to Melbourne is an 8-minute walk. Very convenient. The hotel and neighborhood were quiet. I rarely heard the other guests coming and going.

No drawers to unpack my suitcase. I was there 10 days on business, so I had several changes of clothes with me. There is space to hang a few things, but I would have really liked to have a place to empty the suitcase and have it off the floor. I prefer a larger working area for a desk. Electrical plugs are in awkward places.

Bed was one of the most comfy ever.

WiFi was utterly unusablee, both free and premium via Accor login. I was using it 50cm from the WiFi AP in my room and getting 15% packet loss. Anything above 1% makes the connection horrendous. Anything above 3% and it’s unusable. 28k dialup would literally better. Yes, I’m a tech expert. No, it’s not on my end. Ended up hotspotting. This needs to be checked and fixed. Parking nearby is extremely limited. Shouldn’t have to pay $20 to park in the middle of the outer suburbs. Room was set to 25 degrees on arrival - way way way too hot. Stifling. Even the sign on the wall says do not set above 23. Had to put the aircon on in the middle of winter. Good aircon so the problem resolved quickly, but this procedure should be amended or followed properly.

Great staff. Genuinely wanted to help you have asuper stay. Had to change room due to weird cracking noise near window. Maintenance straight onto it and moving rooms not a problem, allcqrranged quickly by reception. Great location. Quiet yet near mall and restaurants. Contemporary design of lounge, bar and restaurant. Liked late night food offering. Tasty pizza. The bed was so comfy!

Maybe add sausages to buffet breakfast as there wasn't any. Not sure if ran out or not on menu.

Location - next to lots of fast food places and close to the train station and mall. Free water in the lobby. Staff were very nice and accomodating. Mostly clean and tidy. Felt safe.

Value for money - the room was very small especially for a queen/double bed. However we booked during a very busy time where limited accomodation was available so I’m still grateful - just wouldn’t pay that much again. Same with the location, although public transport was close by it was a bit out of the city to be charging that much. The bathroom shower was a little bit mouldy in places. Had a lot of trouble with the card keys and had to get a new one each day to operate the elevator and door - we weren’t the only ones with this issue.

Staffing. We waited, along with another guest, for approximately 15 minutes to get a drink at the bar. Admittedly there were a lot of checking at the time. Staff could have acknowledged our presence and done a checking then served us and then another checking and served the next guest. Surely there has got to be some recognition of how long people are waiting compared to who has just walked in the front door. This is my only criticism.

Clean and tidy. Buffet breakfast is good. Underground parking. Stayed here a few times as its convenient for work and they have a guest laundry. Lots of food options nearby. The staff have always been helpful.

Room heating is bad. Very cold in winter. However, dont be afraid to ask for an electric heater if you are cold.

The bed was comfortable, the water pressure and hot water were great. It was clean. The lighting was good for a hotel room. Although the breakfast was a bit expensive it was good.

No dresser or drawers to unpack my clothes. Outlet plugs are not conveniently located for the 21st century where you need to charge multiple devices. No variation in the breakfast, and they were slow to restock when items ran out.
