We stayed I'm the family room, beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows and lots of room. Kitchen had plenty of utensils and everything you needed.

Couch could of done with a good clean or replacement and it looked like it had never been vacuumed under, when I lifted a cushion there was food scraps and rubbish under it. Some of the blind cords weren't attached to the walls making it dangerous for little kids, more so a problem as it was a family room.

It was clean, good value for money, the staff were very friendly, and the check-in/check-out process was very easy. The bed was comfortable and the television had Netflix, which was fun.

The location is a bit difficult to manage - there is a tram and a bus, but they're not super frequent outside peak hours - however that's not something that can really be helped! If you have a car, you'll have no issues.

Would have liked to open the window for air flow overnight, a bit stuffy after long day of travelling. Put air con on to help with this, don't feel it would be too effective for Summer visitors. No cutlery/crockery if you want to make simple meals in room (ie breakfast or sandwiches) despite having a fridge/kettle etc. Not everyone staying would be dining out for all meals? 1 coathanger. Sofa bed was meant to be made up by housekeeping before we arrived, nothing had been done. Asked about it and later on they left 3 giant flat sheets (not fitted) and a single quilt with no cover on the folded unmade bed for us to deal with. Thankfully 1 blanket in cupboard and plenty of pullows on other bed to share if night got too cold.

The housekeeping staff were generally attentive and obliged me in many ways. The other guests kept quiet and I slept well on most nights. I took advantage of the proximity to Vermont South Shopping Centre.

No microwave. For what I paid, it's a travesty!

I loved the staff at the Burvale, they were so friendly, helpful and accommodating! When I locked my luggage with a padlock but left the key at home, the manager very kindly gave me options on what to do. He then assisted with breaking the lock by finding me a bolt cutter, which was a lifesaver! In addition, when I called with short notice for a later check out they were very nice about it and didn't charge me a late check out fee. I like that there is a bar and restaurant attached to the hotel and there is a bus stop outside so easy to get into town.

My bed overall was comfortable however they are on wheels so would sometime slide a bit if sat on them too hard. I like that there are wheels so you can hoover underneath but would be great if they could have some sort of wheel stopper. In addition, the back door of the room is locked and I would have loved to have been able to open it to as it overlooks some nice trees. However, you can reach this area from the outside so not the end of the world.

Clean and neat and comfortable. Tv was a handy thing to have. Aircon kept the room warm at night. All up a very comfortable stay. Also the dinner on first night was excellent. The staff were the best and made me feel very much at home. Thank you.

For the price of the room it was pretty good. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom looked a bit tired, but it was clean. The meal at the bistro was good. Time from ordering to receiving our meal was good. Dessert was enjoyable too, our only complaint with dessert was the serving was large and we couldn't eat it all

The young girl that greeted us at the bistro, when we asked for a table she made us feel like we should have gone else where. We were there at 6pm she said she'd have to try and find us a table as it was busy. There were only 4 tables of 2 occupied at the time and when we left at 7.30pm there were still plenty of empty tables, there was the entire time we were there.

The staff were extremely accommodating. I turned up with extra guests and they quickly adapted, providing bedding quickly. The bistro has good quality meals at value prices and the whole place has a relaxed, friendly yet professional feel. I will definitely stay again

The sofa bed's mattress had a plastic cover which I was afraid to take off but which made the night's sleep a little less comfortable for my two young guests. This was my fault though, as I hadn't informed the motel of these guests and so they hadn't made the sofa bed up ahead of time

This place is just what a hotel should be., Clean, good value, friendly staff, location & facilities with a very relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant food was outstanding & room service upon request was great as usual! Staff are so welcoming and will go out of there way for you, this is our 6th visit and we will be back, we chose this place over a 5 star hotel because of the memories and amazing time spent here & this visit does not dissapoint, its the simplicity and what is expected of a hotel that makes this place one to come back too. I have 5 years hotel receptionist experience and the receptionist dealing with this booking did a suburb job for My requests! Some hotels dont reply at all. keep it up!

We attended a concert at the venue so location was perfect. The lady at reception was lovely. Had dinner in the bistro and meal was very nice. The room was very clean. Bed was comfy. The room had a small fridge & kettle with tea and coffee. We went straight home the next day so did not use the shower. But looked clean enough. For the price everything was just right. Would stay again!

If i had to pick something toilet was a little smelly and had to flush it 3 times for paper to disappear. But would still stay here again if I needed accommodation in the area.
