Reasonably priced, clean and comfortable and excellent location. Lovely outlooks.

All was fine. Owner opened up spare accommodation for us to use too; this was a great bonus and made our stay more pleasant.

We booked this place as we will be taking puffing billy. The location matched our expectations as its indeed very near puffing and very convenient to get there. We were also able to have some food after the ride before returning to get our car. Home was big and nice. We were given a ground floor unit with plenty or rooms to sleep in. Very easy to get food too. Just walk. We love the big communal dining space where we all warmed up for meals there too.

The parking area was a little inconvenient as it was on a very steep slope. And after sunset, there were no lights for us to get from our car to the rooms. Making it pretty incovenient since we had to rely on our phone lights. Perhaps the owner could have more back yard lights in place and allow it to be lited up till a certain time.

very hard to get hold of on the phone we needed an early checkin and a person called Helen kept hanging up on us and didn’t return our phone calls, eventually my daughter managed to get Michael on the phone but he didn’t get the details correct which meant we had to keep ringing again eventually we just emailed through booking.com but Leonie rang us the day before arrival and she was amazing 😊

Quiet, convenient for trains and shops and restaurants. Cereals and toast provided for breakfast. Would like to have done Puffing Billy train but gets booked up early so make sure you book well in advance.

So close to Puffing Billy and the continental breakfast was a great start to the day. Lovely host.

Too cold in the bathroom in Winter and the heater doesn't stay on long enough to warm it.

The owner reserve for us a connecting unit with a huge kitchen with fireplace!

Check in after nightfall and driveway into unit was pitch black and steep slope.

Great unit. Plenty of room and quiet. Leonie was a fantastic, very helpful host. The bathroom facilities were perfect, bed comfortable and mega clean. Great stay, would definitely book again.

Wildwood Lodge provided us with all of our needs while staying there. The accommodation was very comfortable with plenty of room to move around. It was very clean, well set out and provided sufficient food and refreshments for breakfast. The kitchen and dining area had all the appliances, cutlery and crockery needed to support our needs. The location is in a wonderful natural setting.

Car parking was very adequate though the drive way to the appartments is steep, but we did manage OK. The bathroom was adequate for our needs but needs a larger mirror and more lighting over the wash basin.

we really loved the friendliness from Leonie and she was amazing with the assistance we needed. the rooms were fantastic, clean and very comfortable.

there is nothing I have to list as we didn’t have any negatives.
