If you have a car, it's only a couple of blocks and across the river from the "CBD", but if you want to go for walks around the river birdwatching, it would be excellent (look at Google Maps for guidance). Staff were lovely. Good honest simple country motel. Reception hours (8.30-8.30) were better than some other motels in Horsham, the free wifi worked better (no silly complicated voucher system - it just worked) than some other motels in Horsham.

The only downside is that it is more than a 5 minute walk to the supermarket for nibbles and drinks, or a quick cafe visit. If you have a car, that isn't a problem, you will be there and back before you know it. That said, if you wanted to go into town for lunch and a wander, on a nice day, it would still be walkable.

The room was very good. Nice comfortable bed. Big screen TV. Close enough to the centre of town. Quiet rooms even close to the highway. The shower was great.

We arrived to check in, but no one was at reception. A notice on the window said they would be back in 10 minutes. I waited but eventually had to call a number on the sign. The person who answered said they wouldn't be able to come to reception for about 15 minutes. Not a great start. We left & came back an hour later & a very nice young lady checked us in.

Simple place that was perfect for a rest stop and to move on from. Would not use the space as a homebase for visiting the area, unless you were planning on returning to sleep only. TV was great and well placed showers ran nice and hot heating unit ran well all the ammenities you would need to freshen up and have a good cup of coffee in the morning was available. towels were nice and fluffy

There were electric blankets, which was awesome. But a slight downfall was that not all of the beds leads reached the powerpoint.

Although a bit outdated building wise it had several good points. Plenty of bench space for luggage Good size TV Comfortable bed Clean room, neat and tidy microwave tea/coffee etc toaster, plates, cutlery provided Shower cubicle although small water nice and hot Staff friendly

Not so much the property but the location a bit difficult to access ( coming off main highway) and no eating places nearby.

The room was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The beds were cozy, and the little touches like the neatly folded towels made it feel welcoming. The location was convenient and peaceful, perfect for a restful night after a busy workday. The staff were courteous and efficient, making check-in and check-out quick and hassle-free.😊

The outward appearance is pretty ordinary and not very appealing. But the rooms are completely the opposite. Very clean, surprisingly spacious, comfortable. A large shower room which is also very clean. The TV is big. Not like the puny little ones you get these days. It was a very cold day and they had the room heated for our arrival. So clean and neat.

Convenient location to Town Centre, Eateries, Botanical Garden, River and Parks. Clean and Spacious Room, can park car right in front of our room with no time restrictions, Great shower, Comfortable bed and Happy with other room amenities.

Flying insects in ensuite were observed at night time (we did not leave the door open, only when necessary to get in and out of the room), perhaps a fly wire screen at front entry door may help.

I booked this for my parents. They said the room was lovely and modern (appears refurbished) and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and they had a good night's sleep. Parking was convenient, and they couldn't hear traffic. They were very pleased with their stay. It was very reasonably priced and they'd definitely stay again.

The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Had recently been painted and carpet and curtains were new; looked fresh despite dated build. Nice to have a jug of cold water in the fridge on arrival and real milk - not capsules. Comfortable bed. Whilst we didn't meet any staff, as check-in was closed before we arrived and before we left (the next morning), the staff were helpful, calling to see when we'd arrive and arranging where the key would be.

Location was excellent, the room was very clean, service was great. The gentleman at reception was very friendly and assisted us with a small issue we had with the television.

We spent a 42 deg afternoon and very hot night and the small air conditioner even when on high did nothing to cool the room. It definitely needs an upgrade.
