This is my second visit to Seascape and the reason is purely that the hosts are amazing, the accommodation absolutely fantastic and the location... what can one say, wake up in the morning looking over the ocean and you might even see a passing whale or two (I did on my last visit). The pricing is unbelievable for what you will get and with the centre of town just a short 2 to 3 min drive, where there are plenty of great places to eat or or purchase and cook your own in the fully decked out kitchenette. This is definitely my go to place every time I head to Portland!

Didn't get to stay long enough!

Loved this place! We unfortunately didn’t get into Portland til 8pm, then left again for most of the night and left at 8am in the morning so we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as would have liked and didnt even get to the chance to bathe or use the great spa bath but they all looked great! for the short moment we were there we loved it. We had the whole bottom floor, there was only 3 of us but there’s heaps of room for many more people. Lots of areas to hangout in and chill, places to relax, board games, bikes you can ride etc. well thought out! I even woke up early to catch the sunrise over the beach from the front window which was just beautiful! Will definitely stay here again if we ever end up in Portland again! Check in/out couldn’t be easier. Highly recommend.

Great view from the balcony, easy access, great amenities, nicely decorated, spa was lovely but a little bit loud, plenty of space, we only stayed for one night but facilities was great for staying longer and cook own meals. Full kitchen and clean items. Quiet neighbourhood.

It would be better if there is a lift but it wasn't as high to climb the staircase. I only realised the note regarding no lift closer to arrival. My bad. It would have been better if the window is double glazed or soundproofed, being on the main street I could hear the sound of vehicles passing by very clearly especially in the quiet night. Thankfully we stayed during quiet season so not many cars/trucks drove passed.

We had a couple of nights in the 1st floor executive apartment. Easy parking and just a few stairs to the apartment. A large lounge cum kitchenette with amazing views from a bay window, plus a decent size bedroom with ensuite. Clearly an older style sorta place as it has a spa with a shower. Do people still use spas? Us older folks fear that climb over the spa into the shower in case we slip and do ourselves a mischief! But everything supplied was tops, no skimping on quality or quantity and really couldn't fault it at all. I liked the fact that it had a compendium and supplied tourist brochures The kitchen had all we needed for home cooking for 2 nights - why go out when you have such great views from your room? Had one occasion to contact managers & they were terrific When we return to Portland, Seascape will be our preference

Sounds silly but we like personal contact and that's lacking in pretty much every place we've stayed post COVID!

View of the sea was fantastic from Unit 1. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well appointed with new appliances in the kitchen. Toiletries were high-quality. Heating was great. Everything worked well.

People with mobility issues should request a ground floor apartment as there is a flight of stairs to climb to first floor apartments. Speaking only of Unit 1 - you have to step into the bath to have a shower. This could be a problem for those with mobility issues.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom. It was very comfortable and had plenty of space! The views are fantastic and we loved having a full size stove and oven to cook meals! It was clean and tidy and had some thoughtful extras. I also loved that they had wash cloths specifically for makeup. Makes their job easier and I didn't have to worry about if I was staining a towel!

The only downside to this place is that the walls are thin! My upstairs neighbour on the first night was up very late and I could hear every footstep. Every thing else here was great!

First impressions very nice very spacious great outlook spectacular sun rises short walks to town or along the coast. We stayed in the downstairs unit had a spa and a bbq on the deck had a great stay.

Fortunately the windows are double glazed but you still get a bit of road noise wasn't to busy but the council should lower the speed limit start nagging them. The other elephant in the room not actually in the room but on the stairs and the unit above,some people have no respect for other guests especially when they come home at midnight fortunately it only happened once but even if you had 10 inches of concrete you would have still heard them. A few fittings are starting to get a bit tired everything works but have had a lot of use such as a couple of chairs don't have as much cushioning as they use to but we still had a great weekend stay.

Booked the 2 bedroom apartment for the lounge and TV! The place was very clean and huge for just the 2 of us. Heating system worked really well. Kitchen well equipped. Master bedroom bed was very comfortable for us. Good view of the ocean but probably better from upstairs.

Can be noisy with traffic, and neighbour’s dog barking late at night. So bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. My partner is a heavy sleeper and snorer, so I have earplugs anyway. But even he got woken up a couple of times. Bathrooms need updating. Ensuite shower was really hard to get the right temperature as the taps are quite old.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, in general the room was very good.

This isn't a complaint, but an observation of the rooms. Room 2 had water leaking out from the bottom of the toilet, when the guests moved in. I asked them if the water leak was worse after using the toilet and they said NO. The guests in Room 2 were unable to heat the room, as only cold air came out. The temperature adjustment on the control handpiece didn't work.

Location, Location, Location.... wow, you couldn't ask for a better place to rest up and soak up what Portland has to offer! From the amazing and scenic views (complete with balcony) from the room across the ocean, yep, even saw a whale on Sunday morning, to amazing level of comfort and appointment, can't stop saying wow!

I only stayed the one night, next time I'll be staying for much longer!
